Yeah, I tried draining the power and static by disconnecting the battery, holding the power button for 60 seconds, disconnecting the little battery on the motherboard, disconnecting the ram, but if it’s the CPU, I’m not messing with that lol. I know a little bit, but I also know enough that I would screw it up. So then you have to ask yourself is it worth it to get it fixed? Or do I just buy a new computer for $300?

How did you conclude it was the CPU causing the system to not POST?
