You are genuinely a funny cool dude man I like this video! I feel like I'm going along for the ride with you You're very good at telling a story 💯🤙👍👍
I appreciate that!
Nice video I like your content. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
If you go to a 16 / 39 sprocket set up your rpms will come down and ride smoother
redline at 130 kph??? Something's wrong with your "donkey".
My donkey does exactly 6k rpm at 125 kph, a 2022 model, with a passenger. I have set the switch light to turn on at 6k rpm, and it turns on at about 120-130 kph, depending on weight, wind, etc. I have a windshield extender (kept the original windshield), and a top box, no side bags, but then again: a passenger.
I have stock gearing on it, but did change the exhaust / silencer to a storm oval, if that matters.
I understand you want a more powerful bike, I get it, but redlining at 130 kph is not normal at all.
Yup, that sure was long winded.
I don't always watch long videos, but when I do I change the playback speed to 1.25 or 1.5
That's a good idea! I never thought about that.
I almost bought a CB500x but it was in the Philippines where the roads are slow. I am American and live in both Oregon and Philippines and I ended up buying a Honda CRF300L because truthfully the roads are so slow here that a lighter bike is just easier and better off road. I am also buying a Triumph Tiger for next spring/summer in the USA doing very similar rides to yours.I camp out though as it can be done comfortably with lightweight backpacking gear on the bike. Enjoyed your motorcycling videos. 👍
The CB500X would be a great bike for Asia. Oregon has some fantastic roads for riding! Enjoy!
Both bikes are badass I had the CRF250L rally in absolutely loved it I just got the 500x because I needed a little more for the freeway but that 300 you have is a badass bike!
I have the 2018 model (the last year with the 17 inch front wheel). The CB500X is definitely short geared for highways, but you can't expect a sub 500cc engine to match the cruising comfort of bikes with 1+ liter engines. In my case, since I am not an off road rider, I changed both front and rear sprockets to raise the gear ratios, and now 5000 RPM gets me to around 70 mph. This bike suits ME just fine now. If someone needs something with more power, there are really good options out there. Enjoy the new ride.
I also changed the front sprocket on mine. Made a huge difference in riding around town as now 1st and 2nd gear were more useable.
16t in front, and *39t* for the rear?
Hello Antony bro how r u am partspant long travel trip with bike ...which bike is best long road trip please sugestion me from india ....tanQ
Hey Anthony!! I have a Cb500x 2018 (bought this year) and I went in a light road trip like 1500 km in 4 days. After 4 days at 6500 RPM to maintain 120 to 130 km/h speed in some area and been blast by wind buffering..so intense, I started to think to sale my bike. Seriouly the bike is good for city but in touring, he start to lose speed WITH FULL THROTTLE just by climbing a hill (bike was not that much loaded and yes I had downshifted loll :p), I was in the area of Gaspesie (Qc) not the Rockies so that's was not so heavy..this is what I thought !! Look for something who can handle touring .. Triumph seems to be an option .. For your videos, I love them !!
Yeah I totally agree. Great bike for commuting but seriously lacking for touring. I test rode the Triumph Tiger Sport last year and that has 80hp and I was amazed at how much better it felt than the Honda. Now I'm on the Tiger 900 and absolutely love the 94hp!
@@AnthonyJoh Honda have other powerful models such as the Transalp or even the AfricaTwin. Alas, I'm too short to ride them safely, I must stand with the CB500X.
Ah, la Gaspésie ! Je n'y ai jamais été mais j'en ferai un jour le tour à moto, c'est sûr !
Hello antony bro am big die hard fan ur my inspiration from india ...tanQ value bule video s
Nothing wrong with cb500x , u need Arica twin😂
So much of bike riding is a mixture of some planning and even more going with the flow.
