Canada to Mexico on my Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro Full Film
Last year I rode around America. The year before I rode around Canada. To complete the North American trifecta, I decided to ride to Mexico.
On this trip I am riding my Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro from Vancouver, Canada to Baja, Mexico. My route takes me down the west coast of America before crossing into Mexico and down the Baja Peninsula.
This is my first trip on the new bike and I have to say that the Tiger is better than the Donkey in almost every single way! I love the power, features and everything about the bike compared to the CB500X.
I will post a full review of the 900 Rally Pro in a follow up video.

Road Trip America EP:5 - Was Trying to Cross Wyoming Off-Road a Dumb Idea?

Road Trip America EP:4 - Unexpected Breakdown in Colorado

After Moab I made my way south into Colorado to ride the Million Dollar Highway. No one really knows how this 25 mile stretch of road between Silverton and Ouray came to be known as the Million Dollar Highway but it is regarded as one of the most spectacular roads in America. Road Trip America EP:2 - Riding The Loneliest Highway In America
มุมมอง 6Kปีที่แล้ว
In 1986, Life magazine dubbed Highway 50 the "Loneliest Road in America" and warned its readers not to travel on it as there were no points of interest. In looking at the map, highway 50 didn't exactly strike me as motorcycling heaven. With its dead straight roads and desert like conditions, it seems better suited for RVs instead of motorcycles, but I did notice that it was built following the ...

Detailed Review Of My Honda CB500X aka "The Donkey"
มุมมอง 98K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Review of my 2018 Honda CB500X as well as all the mods and accessories that I've added to the bike. Overall I think the CB500X is a good beginner bike but the lack of power really limits it on the highway. You can hit a top speed of around 150KM/H but not with the bike fully loaded. The bike is most comfortable cruising at around 80 - 110 km/h and even then you don't have a lot of power to pass...

It's a camera case that I've bolted to a mountain plate that is attached to the bike. The case is a Nanuk 930 and the plate is a Touratech one.

I am revisiting your video that I watched a year or so ago in my research of the CB 500x. Anyway, Highway 50 actually starts in West Sacramento, California. It travels passed Folsom, CA, where I live, through South Lake Tahoe, then into Carson City, Nevada. There is a sign in West Sacramento that says Highway 50 ends on the east coast (Maryland??) in 3000 miles.

Dial your Suspension in for off-road use (front preload at max and rear as far towards minimum as possible for the weight you're carrying) so that he Rake is less steep which will help in the sand and stop the front wheel digging in. Flex at the hips to but more weight on the rear whilst standing up riding in the sand.

I was running the Shinko 705s. With a heavy bike like that and little sand experience I would stick to the roads. I met a guy down there who dropped his BMS GS1200 and broke his ankle and he was wearing proper boots. He's actually the reason why I skipped the off road section from the San Francisco mission as it's really remote and I didn't want to risk going down. Yes I do take the ferry. That will be in episode 3 which will be posted soon.

thanks - yes was planning on sticking to roads but as you noted if there's work on the road and you have to do dirt/sand detour that has me spooked a bit as my tires are new but road tires - even a 50/50 tire wouldnt help much as your tires are more aggressive than what i currently have .....look forward to seeing your next video. Thanks
