Discovering the History and Beauty of the American Wild West

- This is the full length video of my 5000 mile road trip across the Wild West of America on my Honda CB500X.
Last year I rode my motorcycle on a road trip around Western Canada so this year I decided to ride south and explore the United States on a three week, eight state road trip.
I'll take the Coho Ferry from Vancouver Island to Port Angeles where I will start my ride through the lush green forests of the Pacific Northwest.
From there I’ll make my way east into Nevada to ride the Loneliest Highway in America before arriving in Moab to ride the famous Slick Rock Trail.
I will look for the Million Dollar views in Colorado and enjoy the remoteness and freedom of Wyoming.
Finally heading home across the Lolo Pass in Idaho I’ll arrive in Washington to catch the ferry back to Canada.

Great damn video, nice that you included the history of all the places! This is what i live for! To be alone for a couple of weeks exploring and just take in all the scenic views and maybe some spontaneous interactions with other bikers/people

Very cool stuff. I have travelled many of the roads you were on. FYI…. Highway 50 starts in West Sacramento, California. It heads east through Folsom, where I live, then continues up through Placerville and then South Lake Tahoe before heading down the east slope of the Sierras. I want a CB500x. What a cool bike!!!!

You know I did actually consider at one point in bringing a slider but I just couldn't justify carrying it for the one or two shots that I would use it for. Still tempting to bring one as I like using them.
