I had the chance to buy a 1987 M3 for $25k 4 years ago, I had the money but we where saving for a house, all it needed was a paint job, the biggest mistake I ever made was not to buy it.
That was a good price. But i don’t think anyone has a story of my e30 sport evo for $1400 (2000 leva) 120k miles, directly from the original owner 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 i swear 😂 now after little restoration is probably like $300k easy 😂
Lovely video, but "it made other sports cars seem ordinary" and "set standards that others could only dream of achieving" might be a bit too much, there was after all another lovely car named the Lancia Delta back in that time that launched to the public 3 years earlier than the M3. Now, this might be a bit my love and perhaps fan boying over Lancia that just rubbed me a bit off the wrong way, so it would be interesting to know what your thoughts on this are. Specially when considering how it's apparently quite common for Delta HF Integral owners to ALSO own an M3...
