I remember once i played it for a small audience on the top floor of a cruise ship, everyone clapped at the end, i was so proud. You may not know if Jarrod, but I am a pianist to this day in part because of this song. Thank you

I’ve been listening to this piece since I was a kid starting out piano about 7 years ago. I used to listen to it in awe every few months, and just be simply amazed by the talent. My mum and my piano teacher knew about it. My piano teacher secretly told my mum that I was ready and talented enough to play it. For Christmas, mum bought me the sheet music and I’ve honestly never been happier. To know that I can finally start to tackle this thing that I’ve been dreaming of for my entire musical life. Very proud of how far I’ve come, and very thankful for this constant inspiration. For a but more context, I just turned 18, and I’m working towards doing grade 7 ANZCA classical piano and theory exam at the end of the year sometime.
This guy has such amazing coordination. It's ridiculous. He jumps like 4 octaves in a heartbeat without ruining the flow of the music and makes it look easy whilst doing so. Amazing.

He's a brilliant prodigy mastermind. Super cool person. He changed our small town and enriched it with music programs all over.

I’ve played piano for roughly ten years now and saw this a while back so I decided to learn it. It took a while and finally I could play through the whole peice with only a few minor mistakes. Upon looking through my liked vids I saw this again and realize that I am in fact not done learning this peice and have another 20 years of piano ahead of me before I’ll ever be able to play this master piece.
This man plays this piece unbelievably well, I am trying to tackle this piece as a one year of playing pianist, and I don’t know what I have gotten myself into. Btw on the sheet music it literally says “Sit on lowest register of the piano” at the end and shows all the notes to sit on LOL
No matter how hard I practice and I think I can speak for most people here who have finished learning this piece that we will never get it to sound close to how Jarrod plays it. He simply plays it majesticly and to replicate it would be close to impossible. Simply mind blowing of how awesome this piece is. Not just difficulty because while its hard sure, its not the most hard piece in the world but its playing it with the emotion and verocity that jarrod plays it with which is hard to come close to.
I learned it with sheet music and it has been like 1 year now and I practise like 15 minutes a day so not very much but I still can't play the damn song.
Matthew Olls I think imitating him is hard but theres no doubt there are a few who can play it better (technically) than him. If you only learn this and nothing else for example, not that you should do that but it’s possible

I started playing piano when I was 7 years old. I watched this video when I was 14 years old. I said one day I will be able this masterpiece. I was so proud when I learned it last year. I felt I came so far in piano even though it wasn't t a steady journey.

When I watched this for the first time, this got me into wanting to learn how to play music, which led me to get a piano app on my moms iPad back in about 2014. There, i started messing around and had absolutely no clue about what I was doing, but later went on to play a bunch of different instruments in real life and now I really love making my own music and just a general love for music in general and all types. It seems like a stretch but I think watching this video snowballed into my passion for music. Who doesn’t love music? Surprisingly, a lot dont. I personally couldn’t live without music.

When I watched this for the first time, this got me into wanting to learn how to play music, which led me to get a piano app on my moms iPad back in about 2014. There, i started messing around and had absolutely no clue about what I was doing, but later went on to play a bunch of different instruments in real life and now I really love making my own music and just a general love for music in general and all types. It seems like a stretch but I think watching this video snowballed into my passion for music. Who doesn’t love music? Surprisingly, a lot dont. I personally couldn’t live without music.
