This piece had a major impact on my playing. At a young age 13-14 i made it my goal to learn this piece after hearing it on youtube. I loved it so much. I bought the sheet music and slowly learned it. To this day, 10 years later, it remains one of my favorite pieces i ever learned. I remember once i played it for a small audience on the top floor of a cruise ship, everyone clapped at the end, i was so proud. You may not know if Jarrod, but I am a pianist to this day in part because of this song. Thank you
I heard someone play this song when I was in elementary. I was so moved by it that I started playing piano. Years later this song still inspires me, so yeah I get what you mean.

I’ve been listening to this piece since I was a kid starting out piano about 7 years ago. I used to listen to it in awe every few months, and just be simply amazed by the talent. My mum and my piano teacher knew about it. My piano teacher secretly told my mum that I was ready and talented enough to play it. For Christmas, mum bought me the sheet music and I’ve honestly never been happier. To know that I can finally start to tackle this thing that I’ve been dreaming of for my entire musical life. Very proud of how far I’ve come, and very thankful for this constant inspiration. For a but more context, I just turned 18, and I’m working towards doing grade 7 ANZCA classical piano and theory exam at the end of the year sometime.

I then went to the same college he attended before me and was taught by the same piano professor that taught him. Our lineage goes back to Mozart. My skills never came close to his though. He's a brilliant prodigy mastermind. Super cool person. He changed our small town and enriched it with music programs all over.

This man plays this piece unbelievably well, I am trying to tackle this piece as a one year of playing pianist, and I don’t know what I have gotten myself into. Btw on the sheet music it literally says “Sit on lowest register of the piano” at the end and shows all the notes to sit on LOL

Pure perfection. I was listening about 1000 times and still feel like I was listening first time. Respect
I’ve played piano for roughly ten years now and saw this a while back so I decided to learn it. It took a while and finally I could play through the whole peice with only a few minor mistakes. Upon looking through my liked vids I saw this again and realize that I am in fact not done learning this peice and have another 20 years of piano ahead of me before I’ll ever be able to play this master piece.

I first heard this pianist when i was in grade school. I haven't heard this specific piece in years. It amazes me every time I listen.
It put so much pressure and inspiration on students in musical schools. Top notch pianist, the best among the best.

I have been watching this every day for months
When I watched this for the first time, this got me into wanting to learn how to play music, which led me to get a piano app on my moms iPad back in about 2014. There, i started messing around and had absolutely no clue about what I was doing, but later went on to play a bunch of different instruments in real life and now I really love making my own music and just a general love for music in general and all types. It seems like a stretch but I think watching this video snowballed into my passion for music. Who doesn’t love music? Surprisingly, a lot dont. I personally couldn’t live without music.
When a piano player strikes the final chords of a song with his rear end (and plays them with more skill than most people can accomplish with their hands), he has truly gone full beast mode.

@@THuuDo Noo, you can do it if you try! Jarrod can't even play this live consistently without messing up. I am a beginner and Chopin's Waltz 17 seemed impossible with the octaves and jumps, but because my desire to learn was so strong I was able to learn it.

The majority has to do with muscle memory. The rest is from practicing
When you have played for a while, or the song enough times its all in ur fingers. I dont play much any longer and dont remember half the songs i used to play, but as soon as i sit by the piano the fingers just lead the way!
