Hello from Greece. I have been using Vaseline since I was 35 and now in my 40s haven't got a single fine line neither on my forehead nor the eyes or chin . Sometimes I might forget but five out of seven nights a week I put on my face after I wash it, usually on wet skin. I also put on my chest and neck. Haven't had any skin problems or irritation and I am really glad. No one ever thinks that I am over 30 and many people think I am even less !!! ❤️
For best results wet towel or rag with hot water press gently against face whilst cleaning poors then apply vaseline afterwards , and also if your a male instead of use'n shaving cream use dove soap instead either alloe or cucumber it reduces the chances for less razor bumps because the blade glides on surface of face much smoother , just make sure to make a thick lather with soap

I started doing it cause it gave me some relief to the drying out of the skin and from rubbing my eyes. I've always used it on my lips works much better than chapstick

Today March 27, 2024 I used vaseline on face , first it works like good moisturizer and I don't think it will dry even in 2-3 days ,and hard to wash off , and now my sensitive skin is red and itchy for hour.

I would not recommend using petroleum based products in the morning because it’ll block the ability of any sunscreen to get absorbed if you wish use it after sunscreen

I use Aquaphor every night all over my face. After cosmetic surgery and lazering on my chin and around my mouth, the doctor said to use Aquaphor on the lazered area. All the work I had done has held up super well, and I credit the Aquaphor for much of that. I am 75, and people tell me all the time how good I look for my age. Of course, some things work for one person and not for others. It is trial and error to find out what works for you. Good luck in your search.

I struggle with dehydrated skin and TEWL.... so I actually use Aquaphor over my moisturizer several times a week! Vaseline doesn't last long enough on my skin and lips.

I used Vaseline a few weeks to figure out what this slugging thing is and if it would be beneficial for me to do..I may have used to much or it could have been because it was slightly expired (didn't know before use) but I had very bad irritation from it. I have tried to look into why it would react so badly to my skin. It was burning and itchy. I had to wash it off almost immediately after use. My skin was clean I had just finished up with my nighttime skincare routine. I'm to scared to try that again. Good ole life lesson, live and learn.

dont do skincare routine sounds like the vaseline didnt mix with it. alot of skincare creams etc have alchohol in may be thats the reason. i use natural organic skincare. plus vaseline

I have adult acne and it seems to help stop the breakouts and heal up any scabbing I have. 🤷🏻♀️ Soooooo it may break you out but it doesn't break me out. 😊
I have acne prone skin I apply vesline on my face in winters but in very minimal amount all over my face except nose because it can cause black heads and with that thin layer I'm using dot and key watermelon vitamin c serum every night but in winters it works well for me when I get up in the morning I saw my face glowing and with no acne that's because it heals my skin as wel as lock the serum to absorb my skin It's highly recommended for combination skin like me but not in summers 🥵or hot and humid conditions nor in winters 🥶 in huge amount don't apply it will definitely cause pimple (apply it in very minimal amount)
I'm absolutely trying this. My acne prone skin is very dry and tired now. I had cystic acne all over my face and gentle magic kind of helped w lot but it's drying and my acne keeps recurring on my cheeks. I think it's bcz I stopped toning and I've been over exfoliating. So Vaseline will be the first thing I use before adding a toning lotion next week. I will dab it after my usual face wash routine
I wouldn't be adding a toner to your routine if you still have cystic acne. The best thing you can do is go back to the basics, acne cleanser, acne spot treatment, a good hydrating moisturiser and lastly use vaseline to hold it all in. Just sharing my two cents 😂 I am not a doctor or a dermatologist but I have struggled with acne my whole life.

Yes,Chapstick are generally better-suited for warmer, more humid months, when lips are less prone to drying and cracking.

I ' ve tried Vaseline on my sensitive combination skin and the next day i got pimples on my face ,then i stopped and i continue to use it just around my eyes for few months and started having little pimples .And i stopped using it.I use it just on my heels
So be careful if you hve sensitive and combination skin

Vaseline is very smooth for my skin lips and leches eyes amazing skin floles very expressive and unique skin

Well I have a tendens to acne and my skin is oily. Tried using castor oil and of course it was a disaster😂! A lot of blemishes, acnes all around my face and I am almost 47 years old. The good thing is that I don't have rinkles, don't look my age. But I wish my hair and face was at last normal.

I use Aquaphor every night all over my face. After cosmetic surgery and lazering on my chin and around my mouth, the doctor said to use Aquaphor on the lazered area. All the work I had done has held up super well, and I credit the Aquaphor for much of that. I am 75, and people tell me all the time how good I look for my age. Of course, some things work for one person and not for others. It is trial and error to find out what works for you. Good luck in your search.

I used Vaseline a few weeks to figure out what this slugging thing is and if it would be beneficial for me to do..I may have used to much or it could have been because it was slightly expired (didn't know before use) but I had very bad irritation from it. I have tried to look into why it would react so badly to my skin. It was burning and itchy. I had to wash it off almost immediately after use. My skin was clean I had just finished up with my nighttime skincare routine. I'm to scared to try that again. Good ole life lesson, live and learn.

I have adult acne and it seems to help stop the breakouts and heal up any scabbing I have. 🤷🏻♀️

No, you have to cleanse your skin properly and then use vaseline on damp skin to lock the water in which is hydrating
I have acne prone skin I apply vesline on my face in winters but in very minimal amount all over my face except nose because it can cause black heads and with that thin layer I'm using dot and key watermelon vitamin c serum every night but in winters it works well for me when I get up in the morning I saw my face glowing and with no acne that's because it heals my skin as wel as lock the serum to absorb my skin
It's highly recommended for combination skin like me but not in summers 🥵or hot and humid conditions nor in winters 🥶 in huge amount don't apply it will definitely cause pimple (apply it in very minimal amount)

I'm absolutely trying this. My acne prone skin is very dry and tired now. I had cystic acne all over my face and gentle magic kind of helped w lot but it's drying and my acne keeps recurring on my cheeks. I think it's bcz I stopped toning and I've been over exfoliating. So Vaseline will be the first thing I use before adding a toning lotion next week. I will dab it after my usual face wash routine

I wouldn't be adding a toner to your routine if you still have cystic acne. The best thing you can do is go back to the basics, acne cleanser, acne spot treatment, a good hydrating moisturiser and lastly use vaseline to hold it all in. Just sharing my two cents 😂 I am not a doctor or a dermatologist but I have struggled with acne my whole life.
