Awesome video!! It's true....skin regimen changes as the season changes. Thank you for the helpful tips and new product review! And yes, please continue with helpful skin videos!
The gentlest cleanser I’ve discovered and never turned back is Vanicream. For days when I wear a little makeup I use micellar for removal or The Ordinary Squalane cleaner, neither which use water which also strips your skin further.
I really enjoy the series thank you for all the valuable information. Will you please do a video on the top 3 skin care products from the most expensive to over the counter. Cleaners, serums, day & night cream, toners, vitamin C, eye creams, Hydro etc Please and thank you.
That gentle skin cleanser is fantastic and it goes on cheap sale at Costco a few times a year. I get horrifically burned eyes during pollen season and this cleanser is mild enough to thoroughly wash my eyelids and eyelashes every day. Great stuff.
You always have such good information to impart. And I love that you actually show exactly what products work best. Thank you and please continue w this type of content.
Dr Sugai, I've started using cleansing bars so I don't have to buy more plastic bottles. My local Walgreens had some Vanicream Gentle Cleansing bars (not the Z bar) so I bought one. It works well without irritating my >60year old skin. I cannot honestly say it's as good as using a creamy cleanser because it is a foaming cleansing bar and will leave my facial skin just the tiniest bit tight if allowed to fully dry. (Usually I hit it with moisturizer or serum w/in a minute of cleansing though.) The foam also will sting a little if it gets in my eyes, although not like the eye sting from regular bar soap. I plan to try some of the other brands' cleansing bars when I get through the Vanicream bar. I would encourage you to review some cleansing bars because I really appreciate your opinion of products. Thanks so much for all you do for us, Doc.
Could you possibly recommend an alternative to benzoyl peroxide for those of us that are allergic to that specific ingredient? and any thoughts on oil based cleansers?
Hi dr! There are vids mentioned about putting antiperspirant at night.. but not discussed what to do in the am. We take showers also in the am.. do we wash the armpit and put deodorant (not anti perspirant) or not anymore? TY.
Those vids mentioning applying at night likely assume you are showering at night. The important part js applying antiperspirant/deodorant when the armpit is clean. If you shower in the morning, apply in the morning.
Hi Dr. Daniel, thanks always for the useful tips! Can I ask if I can use vaseline if I have oily skin? Or should I just stick to a lightweight moisturiser instead?
If you don’t have acne, you can, but you don’t need it, it’s more for dry skin. If you have acne, slugging can trap oil and bacteria in your pores. Some people with acne swear by it but a lot of dermatologists warn against it.
My skincare for dry skin I have cetaphil gentle skin cleanser, eucerin eczema relief cream, and panoxyl (use at night). Are those products okay? I do struggle with hormonal acne, but other than that don't breakout too much. I'll want to get SA cleanser to remove sebaceous filaments on my nose (I always thought they were blackheads).
Hello, could you suggest a skin care routine for my sensitive skin using ordinary products? I'm not sure if it's combo or oily, but could you suggest a product for me? It turns oily in the summer and dry in the winter.
haha... I have super oily skin, but if I wash it twice a day, It gets tight and irritated and flaky... which slowly throughout the day becomes greasy, flaky skin. I'm still working on figuring it out.
My skin was like this before but now I cleans my face twice a day and never feel tight the key is a good hydrating cleanser mine is cerave I'm no expert but as far as I know your face produce more oil when it's lacking moisture so hydrating cleanser and hydrating moisturizer is very important
How is the CeraVe cream to foam cleanser for dry sensitive skin? Is the foam too drying or irritating? I was going to buy it but I read the ingredients and it contains salicylic acid, daily exfoliation would flake my whole face off. They refused to tell me the concentration of salicylic acid in the product when I asked in an email. Really turned me off from CeraVe, I feel like companies need to disclose how much exfoliating acids or retinol their products contain.
Thanyou doctor segai your videos are so informative Can you please do a video for open pores and textured skin,I have tried everything from nicanimide, salicylic acid ,retinoletc nothing seems to work 😢 in fact nicanimide seems to make my pores worse ,please could you recommend anything else thankyou ❤
What do you recommend for female thinning of the hair? Is there a safe and effective supplement that can be used rather than chemically based alternatives?
Hi Dr. Daniel! I’m a breastfeeding mom. Could you please let me know if the CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum is safe to use? Also, can I pair the CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion with the CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream?
Hey, I think you mistyped the information on the screen around 6:55 and recommended benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid for dry skin? You did say gentle cleanser for dry skin and those actives for acne.
The antiperspirant tip always confuses me because I go to the gym first thing in the morning and it feels weird not to put antiperspirant after showering post a sweaty gym session 🙃 should I still apply at night?
How do u know? I was once mistaken a guy gained some weight for having too much filler on his face but I was wrong. He confronted me and showed me his 3months prior photo, oh boy what a difference. Dr Sugai video mainly shows his face not the whole body so we can’t tell if he gained weight or not.
Dr. Could you address proper facial care for men with beards? Especially those suffering from in gown hairs…
Exfoliating helps with ingrown hairs and exfoliating regularly should prevent them. Salicylic acid or glycolic acid depending on skin type.

I’m no doctor but I heard retinol may not be suitable for pregnant women?
I can't use any of those 😢 i use a soap recommended be the doc

What about Vanicream face wash? I have super sensitive skin and react to Niacinamide and some times cerimides.
The Vanicream products are fragrance free and are gentle for sensitive skin. The Moisturizing lotion and the SPF 30 are my favorites 😊
@@champagenroses I've used them for a 3 years and I'm just surprised that he didn't mention them.

I’m using the correct cleanser, but I apply witch Hazel after I cleanse. Then I apply my moisturizer. Is this something you recommend?

Too much filler, doc. Love your channel

What mistakes did he mention... Absolute bullcrap misleading video.. pure clickbait
Umm, apparently you weren't listening. The whole video gives the proper ways of doing skin care as opposed to the wrong ways
Shouldn't you be spending more time with your patients, instead of making YT videos?
😮
Thanks! Great video, will try recommendations!
Thanks for great content!
