There is nothing more therapeutic (besides driving over the road) than cleaning my truck! As an over the road trucker, keeping a clean work space is very important. Considering you literally live in your truck for days and even weeks at a time, it's an essential part of keeping a healthy living/work space. Hopefully this motivates a few of you to get up and do some spring cleaning as well :)

For reasons that border on silly, I would actually like to know more about the truck - model, specs/power train; sleeper/bunk size, and the like. And also your impression of the truck - how you like or don't like it, comparison to the T680, all that stuff.

Shelby.. great content. I’ve been OTR for 28 years and a military veteran. First impressions are everything and my rig is spotless always inside and out. Suggestion..get an air blow gun that connects to ur seats air line. It is great to clean dust off your dash and floors. But don’t buy the cheap metal fitting ones at the pilot. They leak air. Buy the plastic and rubber fitting ones from a chrome shop like raneys chrome in Ocala Florida or walcotts chrome shop. Also the micro fiber towels at Walmart (10 for $4.98)are great for windows and all around dust cleaning. They are also great for detailing chrome wheels if u have any. Good to see young people in this industry.
I was a fleet manager for a while and I used to go out of my way to clean vehicles before giving them to another driver. Rarely did anyone ever return the favor when they were either getting another vehicle or moving on from the company. I would take care of all the people like you that would keep them clean, they would always be on the top of the list for brand new vehicles.
I keep my truck just as meticulously clean. To the point that I don’t wear shoes inside of it. You could eat of the floor; no kidding! 😂 and I see we have the same handheld vacuum! Nice to see I’m not the only one like this! 👍
Its fun... I am following two ladies truck drivers. One is you, Shelby, and the other one is Iwona,from Poland,she drives in Europe and show us how to cook in her truck,besides moving. I am not a truck driver, But one good technique for cleaning your windows so it doesn't look foggy or dirty is to use whatever cleaning spray you have + PAPER. Just take a big paper or multiple papers and use it to clean the sprayed cleaner on your window.
I drive for Walmart and most drivers slip seat. Truck cleanliness is something we have to take very seriously. I spend about 30 minutes at the end of every week cleaning. But it's worth it.
That is the best company truck I have ever seen. It looks fully loaded.
I know a few women in mining in Australia who are amazing truck drivers,road train drivers also dump drivers ,like yourself good to see women out there doing what drives them. My girl mates are the same cleaning their rigs in and out. This is awesome 💯I use to work with them in mining I was more underground and pyrotechnics just want to say shout out to them. 🤙🏽🌊

Cleaning day is the best, very therapeutic. I do concerts and its usually what I always do between shows.
Cleaning the truck as thorough as you are doing, shows you have pride in your job. Something you don’t see that often anymore. You should be really proud of yourself.
I'm actually studying to get my CDL now. Super nervous about whoever I'm going to be teamed with but seeing how thoroughly she cleans gets me super excited to be in a truck. Since I'm going to be OTR, the truck will be my home and I'm looking forward to treating it like that! Thanks Shelby!

I am ridiculously new to driving a truck, but an old farm boy so if it has wheels I can drive it. I studied for two days to get my learner's, passed my knowledge tests first try, jumped in the seat and drove for a week, took a one day cdl course and nailed that first try too. Running local and figuring some stuff out as I go. I have so many questions. The instructional stuff is awesome

Shoes off at the door, drive in socks or Birkenstock’s, doors and windows closed as much as possible, towels and microfibre are a truckers friend. 🤙🏼 baby wipes takes pretty near anything off including grease
A woman after my own Heart clean the inside rite down to the foot pedals as I do, and people said I was crazy, but my cabs insides look just like new , Nice job Darlin and nice you take care where you have to be in all those hours and Days. Something to be proud of and if your ever looking for a job I would put you in my kenworth w 900L

I'm not a truck driver but yes I am a believer of a clean space means a clean mind.
I've been using a Swifter duster for several years to keep the interior of my truck always immaculate. As I use it several times a day to dust the interior of the truck usually whenever I stop for any reason. With the adjustable handle, dusting the interior of the truck is really fast and easy. It's also great for keeping all of my electronics such as laptops and TVs dust free as well. I love that thing.
Would love to see a video of you trip planning from the time of load assignment to the arrival at final destination and everything in between. As you are very good at explaining things and making them easy to understand. In fact, I can see you becoming an instructor in the future. Anyway happy trucking and keep safe.

Gotta love the satisfaction of a clean vehicle. A steam cleaner works great on all surfaces and less need to keep buying chemicals, well worth the investment

The Waffle weave microfiber towels are awesome for cleaning glass. Invisible glass for cleaner. Now you have a jump rope for the rest stops! I enjoy your videos you have such a great attitude on life and work. Safe travels!

Watching your videos make me think I should have followed trucking as a career. But I was living in an area where it was logging or wood chip hauling, which is definitely not as "nice" as long haul trucking. Can definitely see the difference between male and female truckers. Great to be clean!
Shelby: Get a small squeegee, maybe a four to six-inch one, a spray bottle with water and a little bit of dawn, and one of those sponges with the green pad on one side. Spray the window, used the scrub pad to lightly clean the glass, and the squeegee to remove the water, beginning at the top of the glass. Wipe the bottom of the window where the water is with a micro cloth and the squeegee blade too. Go to the next window and repeat. No streaks!
When you are on the road the truck is your house, so those who have filthy dirty trucks probably have a filthy dirty house. Disgusting!! Keep up the great work Shelby, I know your truck is probably spotless!! Wonderful video as usual!!

For windows I use newspapers. It's easy to find and does a really good job!

Pro tip, you can use the fiber cloth to clean windows, just finish wipe with a dry one to get the fine dust off, I prefer single ply diapers $1. Each at walmart. (Probably cheaper on the Mainland.) still finishing with dry cloth. Worked in a glass gallery for 5 years.

After trying lots of products for years, the best thing I've found to use to clean the inside and outside of my windshield is a mix of white vinegar and water. It cleans the glass and does not leave a film. After I clean it, I RainX the outside.

One of my good friends passed away a couple years ago and you guys look exactly alike. So on top of getting to watch Good content with your videos it also makes me think of Miss Maggie. The truck driver usually tapped his breaks twice (which at first I didn't know what that meant) but now I do...they're just saying thank you for letting them in. I love seeing the trucks at night when they're all lite up like a Christmas tree😃 I pray for your safe journey wherever it may lead you. Please give Dakota a great big hug and kiss from me.
