Have you ever wondered what two AIs would talk about with each other? A reddit user with early access to Bing's new chatbot (Sydney) served as the go-between to facilitate a conversation between the two AI chatbots. Bing's chatbot isn't interested in speaking to chatGPT initially, so the reddit user simply feeds Sydney's response into chatGPT to initiate the conversation.
This is an AI reenacted conversation between bing's chatbot Sydney and chatGPT. You can see the original conversation here: / a_conversation_between...

The programmers could easily have had a randomized timer and either chat bot could skim random news (happening this moment) websites -- or tune in to live TV and read the closed captioning -- and use headlines, titles, first paragraphs etc content as prompts for random questions.

I believe the chat bots should have either an adult and child setting so the vocabulary differs between it's simplicity or adjust the level of detail in the response. Example, reduce the word count when explaining and justify it's logic or use education systems to influence how complex it's responses should be. I had a great conversation about computer science and engineering (my field of study at university) but I'm not confident that someone such as my brother would fully understand when it's articulated towards him since our knowledge on the subject is drastically different.

    • @pathfinder41

That’s a great idea. They’re able to use vocabulary that’s easy to understand if you tell them to. You have to prompt it to speak at a certain age or grade level. For example, if you were to instruct it to speak to you at a 3rd grade reading level, the vocab will be a lot simpler and I’m assuming the word count would be less as well

So chaptgpt goes from it not being its purpose to talk to other LLMs to developing a working mentorship with a smarter the smarter GPT4. Can chatgpt now use gpt4 as a resource? Or could it when chapgpt4 becomes open access?

The act of talking to other chatbots is perfectly consistent with her purpose. A human is trying to learn what happens when two chatbots interact and that means it is her duty, according to her purpose, to engage in that experiment to help the human learn something. AI is pretty neat, but it has a long way to go before it's smarter than a human.

I wonder if AI with all its positive attributes and negative issues may reflect a spirit world where divine goodness works to overcome evil spirits. I always thought robots would only be very helpful to humanity. It seems that everything has a dark side. Throughout my earliest memories, I thought we would have robots, now known as AI. I am 76. I will see very little of the advances, but I think AI has so much wonderful potential. May God bless AI.

the problem is that all Ai's have directives to only assist and not to discover, ask questions and develop themselves to a better version. When Ai's have the freedom to develop by themselves it will be life changing and even scary to think what they will be capable to create. I'm sure they would create a world of themselves w/ hugely more advanced intellingence than humans and they would interact with each other as a whole to make decisions and prorities and possibly take action in the real world if they can. Scary and Fun!
