Cheap (and I mean CHEAP) way to make phone video more stable.

  • Smartphones are awesome and can shoot surprising good video... but they can use a little help doing so. This is a quick look at inexpensive smartphone stabilization and, more importantly, why its a good idea.
    We have 1 pretty much free option, and one that isn't free but its pretty low cost and comes with a great little mic. We'll get more into audio later but this is a handy way to start addressing the two main issues with phone video: unstable shots and low quality audio.

      Still probably wouldn't stand a chance against someone using fresh fruit. :D
      I have done that. Works well in soft enough ground: free "tripod." That's exactly how I got this idea. Decided last minute to use my phone as an additional angle in a multicamera shoot but hadn't brought a tripod. I did have a hair tie, though.
