    I think a manual e90 328i is simply the best all around, practical daily driver for a real driver. They feel great to drive, have a solid build, run forever, great fuel economy, fun and good looking. You can't beat it. Mine has 190k miles I've had it since it had 90k 7 years ago and love it. I never have to worry about it and it provides a great experience every time I get in it

Have driven many cars in my time but nothing comes close to the performance or hyd steering. Just completely satisfied with this car. I'm planning on keeping it till the wheels fall off. Great car! I think this car will appreciate over time. It's the last of its kind. And its power to weight ratio is very similar to the E36 (which I miss). Although the E90 is slightly heavier, it's way more stiffer than the E36.
    I have a white m-sport as well but automatic, looking to manual swap it. If anyone is looking to do any track days with this, I would turn off the power limiter due to brake temp. It was pulling power after some 15-20 minutes of heavy load. Apparently, this car doesn't have actual brake temp sensors, but performs calculations to predict what your brake temps would be based on the current driving conditions. So after finding that out, I deleted it.
    This car has so many operations based on the braking system, like the e-lsd diff. And also, it has a brake drying system in wet conditions. It will lightly and periodically apply small braking force to dry the rotors when it's raining. There is a surprising amount of engineering and technology systems built into this car.

    • @marcosisdecent
      @marcosisdecent ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bro you just explained ALOT!! I wondered why my brakes squeak a little in the rain when im going slow(like drivethrus/parking lots) I thought I needed a brake change. But after hearing this im going to take a look at he brakes and if they are still biting then im gonna keep riding. But like everyone on this video is saying this is a great for anyone getting into BMWs. This was my first and definately wont be my last!

    In 2024 and this car despite its age looks razor sharp. The body lines , that Alpine white paint looks fresh.
    I am actually looking at 3 series Coupe , BMW
    straight 6 with or without the turbo depending on the condition.
    I always liked these cars , RWD , never grabbed a BMW mainly because at the time it just wasn’t an affordable and reliable enough car for me. At this point , looking at the over styled , over the top looks and tech that’s currently being released from BMW and all other car manufacturers, snagging a low km older analog BMW is going to bring me back , I am leaning toward to a 328i Hardtop convertible or just a hardtop coupe with low mileage, well looked after and I’ll continue to keep it running beautifully, put in some work if & when I have too to steadily improve it.
    Overall just a classic car that to this day looks beautiful!
    Appreciate the video! That 4 door look’s real nice

    You got the b30 which is the refreshed n52, which is a tank and will last you 400k. You mentioned M3 control arms. I have an 11 328xi and I love it but I want to throw on better parts. Will those M3 arms fit my vehicle? What M3 parts can I throw o. My car? Thanks! Beautiful car.

      @MrSaamman  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think m3 arms work on awd cars. Tbh I’m not exactly sure what upgrades you can do. I think you can run camber plates to get the extra camber that the m3 arms provide.

    Change transmission and differential fluid every 40k miles (60K kms) and you will have transmission shifting like a dream for the whole life of the car. otherwise you will have to rebuild transmission some time after 100k miles.

    Isn‘t the E90 LCI the direct incected N53 engine?
    I always thought the n52 has the silver engine cover and the n53 the black engine cover.
    Still one of the nicest limousines ever made 😍

    • @MrSaamman

      The N52 in the e90 330i got the silver engine cover. Those come with the 3 stage intake manifold. I have an 06 6mt 330i with headers, tube, BC coilovers, and I absolutely love it. The downside is that I get about 15mpg, and it has developed a rough idle :( . It also just recently sprung a radiator leak.

      @@nnwumeh1 basically same with mine, only difference is 328I. Its always had a slightly rough idle I've never been able to figure out. Probably going to do all new vacuum lines, ccv, and intake gaskets to hopefully fix it. I've never thrown a CEL though so it makes it hard to diagnose.

      If not. My car has the non folding rear seats. So I unbolted the rear seat and wiggled my way into the trunk to open the trunk from the inside. Mine had one ground wire that failed. So I just took a peice of automotive wire and crimped the 2 ends so the ground wire to it
