    Yes, I have a 09' E92 Built responsibly to 740whp, and yet I can drive it around calmly and it is just as comfortable as almost any of my family members family cars. This is one of the ultimate sports cars. It doesn't drink nearly as much fuel as the M3, yet I can build it well beyond the M3. The decent sized back seat is actually a HUGE back seat for a sports coupe. The trunk is also huge, and when needed, you can lay the back seats down and make it an SUV. This is the most versatile and timeless car I've ever owned. And I've had just about all the common named sports and muscle cars at some point, excluding most of the super high end ones. Although I have had a Porsche and an Alpha.
    While driving this car around with TC and Stability Control on, it's still the most fun car I've ever owned. But here and there, you just need to turn TC and SC OFF and get a thrill that lasts for quite a while. This is truly an amazing machine.
    And while I agree with you almost completely about the interior, I did upgrade my interior with a new digital cluster, which works/looks phenomenal. I also updated my iDrive to the latest Android 11 head unit, because using the phone and map on that old iDrive sucked. The newest Android HU's are super fast and they still have all of the BMW menus and functions. And having wireless 'Android Auto' right there at a touch, is such a convenience to the entire driving experience. Also with Android being open source, I can customize this head unit any which way I like.
    Simply put, this car is a beast, and IF, IF, IFFFFFFFFF you truly do all of your maintenance properly, it is a seriously reliable car. I know I will get flamed for that comment, but I've owned six bimmers and not one of them has ever put me on the side of the road. knock, knock, knock... Mine have all been reliably great cars, and I kept one of them well over 200K miles, and it was running as well when I sold it as it was when I got it. That's why I continue to purchase ONLY BMW.

      I love my e93 335i to death. I agree with everything you said.....except that reliability thing! I write this as my car sits in the garage for the past week after giving me a nice 100k mile surprise! The waterpump went out, the waterpump that was replaced @ 75k miles just over 2 years ago. I'm waiting for my FCP package. People say to expect 50-60k out of the waterpumps and this bad boy made it less then half that @ 22k miles. Still love it.....just recommend you have a 2nd car if a used N54 is in your plan. It's saving my bacon at the moment!

    I just feel like the e9x was really the perfect combination of luxury and performance looks; even the F30. As for the models, I own a modified 335i and honestly, I absolutely love it but owning one comes with a commitment to maintaining and putting money into it. I always suggest going with a 328i if you don’t want to basically “pay” for performance (since the N54 is HIGHLY modifiable BUT requires a LOT of maintenance). Otherwise, it’s worth every penny. The M3 is on another league entirely.

    • @TheGamingDistrict1
      @TheGamingDistrict1 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LoopBooost N55 is modifiable as well but not as much as the N54. You need less mods on an N54 to reach more power than you would on an N55 and the N54 can handle more power before needing to be built than the N55 can.

    • @TheGamingDistrict1
      @TheGamingDistrict1 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LoopBooost the charge pipe, definitely. These cars come with a plastic charge pipe from factory that tends to crack. A good aftermarket radiator is also good, but the factory one is pretty solid. If it's an N54, you'll also want to set money aside for new Index 12 Injectors, an upgraded HPFP and LPFP, and might want to do the gaskets/hoses. If it's an N55, you don't need to worry much about injectors, since they're way better than the N54 ones and much less expensive.

    I have a E92 330i 6MT with the N52B30, here in Germany it's the 272 hp version, very rare because not even one year later they introduced the N53B30, very unreliable compared to the N52. I've had it for 8 years now and will keep it. I could basically sell it for the same price I bought it 8 years ago today even though I put a 100.000 km on it, but I just love this thing too much to sell it. I knew I had to have it back then, because it's the last 3 series Coupe, and naturally aspirated.

My first BMW was a F 30 therefore a newer one but I never felt satisfied with a four-cylinder engine or the handling and power it provided. As for manuel, not in traffic. My 2010 E92 N51 Cali of course, automatic is great driver's cars. I have the m sport package, racing seats, sunroof, air, leather hydraulic steering, lowered etc. As for turbo models if you want speed great, but I prefer the ultimate driving machine just Cruz the city streets
    And enjoy. And as for depreciation no way they are little by little coming up in value because the N51 52 are BMW bread and butter smooth power naturally aspirated engines which are getting harder and harder to come by, and if yours is in very good condition no matter the mileage it will keep its value because nothing really looks like it on the regular car market. It's just a blast to drive. It's a keeper. Just remember you must do the maintenance religiously and you should be good to go...! BMW owner and fan for some time. totally agree, except avoid the 335i for daily use, not reliable enough. I drive my 2011 E90 daily and take the Porsche out on the weekends. I'm a big Porsche guy and the E90 has that great non-electric steering feel, enough power and torque and refined quiet ride. Parts are easy to acquire as they sold hundreds of thousands of these. The automatic is pretty good, no dual clutch, but with the newest GM1912 updates applied to the car and a 330i free tune its fast enough and fun its not just the extra horsepower and torque but the throttle is faster to respond, you will lose 1 MPG so decide if you want that for a daily, don't bother with the 3 stage intake manifold, yes it gets you 12hp over just the tune but its expensive, a PITA to install and you introduce unreliable DISA valve, for a daily you want reliability. For technology just put in an AVIN touch screen in the dash, you have to cut a hole in the dash, but looks factory after and that gets you wireless Carplay and Android auto!

    I'm considering a 325i e92 from 2007. I'm trying to choose between that and an audi TT 2.0 tfsi and it's being a nightmare to decide 😭

      Obviously I’m biased but all I’ll say is if you plan on working on the car yourself the TT is an absolute nightmare to do anything on

    • @shauros92

      @@lifebycars5849 Thanks for the tip! Well I don't plan on working on the car myself cause I love cars but I'm useless on mechanic knowledge aside from basic engine stuff 😅 I'm friend of the boss of a BMW focused workshop tho.
      I think I'm trying to convince myself to get the e92 instead of the TT, but it's being hard cause I'm a bit more of an audi fanboy (in terms of motorsport, the s1 sport quattro from group B and all that stuff, and in most cases I like audi styling a bit more) and I think the e92 is more of an all rounder and won't have as much purpose of being an sports car, plus I have always been more of a power to weight ratio and small and light sports cars mindset rather than "big" Coupés/sedans with a big engine...
      BUT, after all of this bs trying to defend the TT choice, I come from a NA 4 cilinder engine and I LOVE the feeling of an NA engine, and I can only assume that an inline 6 from bmw is gonna be an absolute joy to drive, plus rwd, plus more practical / daily driver car, plus nice leather interior... The one I have an eye on is kind of a boomer spec in navy blue with silver accents, but that has an easy fix.
      Anyways, sorry for all the nonsense big text, as you can see I'm a mess right now trying to decide🤣
      Thanks again mate, and I'm gonna keep checking your content!

    Just wondering what exhaust set up you have? I own a e90 328i and would like it to sound louder and sportier like yours

      I have a dinan axleback. Mine’s a 335i though so there will be different exhaust options for the 328i

    Analogue 😂 it has an ECU and hydraulic steering!
    Analogue would be a non ECU non hydraulic steering BMW.
    A F32 435i M Sport N55 has most of the the N54 faults sorted, more room in the back for 2 adults, a bigger boot a better idrive and better looks in my humble opinion.
    I took Chris Harris's opinion on how the F32 handles and steers over yours.(See below)
    Go figure

      The m57 diesel engines can go really really long with barely any maintainance. And the electrics, etc. have held up very well.
