I really, really needed this right now as I am currently having issues with my therapist. I just recently came out of a pretty dark place, but at that time instead of her supporting me and gently helping me through my struggles she unapologetically added an cruel and extreme amount of stress to my already full plate. In addition to this I believe she is also trying to make it seem as if my testosterone shots are the sole cause of my severe anxiety when in reality I was and had already been struggling with this for about 10 years of my life before taking T. . . I almost feel as if she wants to "stop" my transition. . . Listening to this video has helped me by giving me some confidence to stand up for myself. Thanks to this video I feel as if I'm not alone. I'm truly grateful for this, I really am.

I'm so glad that you were able to resonate with it and take some motivation away with you. When it therapy, I think it's so important to continually evaluate if the partnership is helping. You may not be a good fit for each other as a working pair. If everything defaults to your testosterone... I'd definitely seek out another person to work with. It's a cheap shot answer to an often intricate problem. I'm in the same boat, I had intense anxiety before and during hrt. So, although the testosterone can play a part (sometimes but really for me either), always defaulting to it avoids getting to the root cause. I wish you luck in finding the best possible therapy partner and hope you can get a respite from that anxiety.

Even if the topics seem super unrelated to my personal life at first, I gain so much from all of them. You're just such a smart cookie and literally everyone can learn from your content in one way or another.
