What's New
Designers of the Pegasus transitioned from a full-length Zoom Air bag to a forefoot Zoom Air bag (the forefoot is where you rebound from the ground, and need an airbag the most).
The bag is twice as thick as the Pegasus 36 Zoom Air bag, offering more energy return.
The team top-loaded the Nike Air Zoom technology into React foam for the midsole. React foam is lighter, more responsive and more durable than the previous Cushlon foam.
The translucent upper gives the shoe a lightweight, feather-like look.
An updated midfoot enables a fit band to secure your foot.
The color shift across the lateral side of the shoe highlights the placement of the Zoom Air bag in the forefoot.
What's Familiar
The silhouette maintains a heel collar that tapers away from the Achilles tendon - a design influenced by direct athlete feedback.
The familiar waffle rubber outsole helps provide trusted durability.

I know they need to learn how to use different names for each shoe, it just becomes WAY to confusing
When I did college marching band, I wore the Pegasus 32 during practice because I needed a shoe with a stable cushion because of the "roll toe" motion of marching.

Just picked up a pair of those version 1 Turbos in the same colorway the other day at a local Nike Outlet for equivalent of about $88....fantastic shoe. I also have the Pegasus 31, 33 (Limited Rostarr Collection) and the Pegasus 36. Great series of shoes from Nike...the low profile of the Turbos are the coolest looking casual show due to the slim forefoot.
The 37s have the look of an offspring of the Vomero14 and the Zoom Fly SP,... I'll wait for the Shield version or Turbo (if they re-decide).
I have the 36s(water shield version) got it from Hibbett sports for 45$....best all around shoe. I work out in them, walk around and everyday life. I’m not a runner but they would be good at that too.
I still have Pegasus 35, 36, the shield one, and a bday gift Pegasus gift sneaker all of which I did not use them up yet. When and which sites do you usually buy the 37 wide on the best discount? I could also get the flyease and get them in size 7.
I noticed the pegasus 37 setup is the same as the nike vomero 14. Same react midsole with zoom airbag

Not a huge fan of overly cushioned running shoes. Felt the 36s struck a great balance of cushion/firmness for an everyday runner that could do it all reasonably well.
Sucks that they discontinued the Pegasus Turbo. I hope they bring back the Pegasus turbo 1 as a lifestyle shoe. I have several colors of the Peg Turbo 1 bc it was soo good.

I just got 2 pairs of Pegasus 35 turbo’s blue hero for around $100 each on stock x.
On Nike’s website, when I look to build my own style of Pegasus 37s, they’re asking if I want to have traditional soles or add sticky rubber. Can someone explain what sticky rubber is and if/when I should choose to add that? Also, they’re asking if I want to add 2mm arch height to the sole. Similarly, if anyone could help me understand if/when I should add that? Thanks so much in advance for any help!
I don’t own a pair of 37s or 36s, but I bet it is so much better now that they removed flywire for the lacing
Turbo 1s are the best trainers I’ve ever owned for casual wear as well as medium paced runs. Ultraboost 1.0s are the only running shoe that compare for casual wear/style, but aren’t the best performance shoes. Thanks for the video, top class as always. 👊🏻

Good sneakers but the turbos run tight, I’m a size 8.5 and the turbo size 8.5 was too tight for my feet

Ran my Pegasus 35s to death almost 1000km ran another 1000 onepic reacts currently Pegasus 36 shields for them wet days and dry I'm running in infinity reacts love them all

I always wondered why they didn't try to do a React Roshe.
Probably Nike Roshe is a low-tier product. If Nike makes the React Roshe, causal wearer of sneakers will definitely not buy the more expensive products.
@@warrior_freedom they made react legend, they're like 100 bucks, less on sale. They'd probably have to make the react roshe more expensive than the price point they're normally sold at. That's probably the issue.

Because nobody is going to pay more than $40 for some Roshe when you can easily find them for like $30 and even cheaper at places like Ross. Remember, the step down from react is Nike renew and those shoes still cost over $50. They would have to sell the react Roshes for like $100 to make a profit. No one's going to pay that for one of Nikes cheapest made shoes. Roshes are pretty much trash in the shoe world.
Whats the difference between the Pegasus 37 and Vomero 14? They look alike and both have react and zoom.
Pegasus 37 has forefoot air zoom unit only, however, it is x2 thicker than that in vomero 14 or pegasus 36. Vomero 14 have flywire pegasus 37 does not. Pegasus 37 is 20g lighter and in Australia, the Pegasus 37 is $180 whereas the Vomero 14 is $220.
If they made the swoosh smaller on these models they would be must cops

I picked up the infinity react, pegasus trail, and Pegasus 37 shield I love all them can't wait to start wearing them. I wish the 37 had full length zoom.

it's interesting how you can see the 37's React midsole wrinkling like the Cushlon in the 36. It doesn't happen to the React on my Element 55. Last week, I was reading the Nike website and it says React foam has EVA mixed in. I wonder if they made a mistake, or if they actually started doing this on select shoes...
All react have Eva mixed in I think it’s just the ratio of react to Eva that’s different in react shoes for more expensive react shoes I think they have less percentage of Eva in them which makes them comfier
@@zt29. i don't have much doubt about it at this point, but it's surprising because Nike bragged about React having "no eva" when it first came out, in contrast to their past materials like Lunarlon
I have both the 37’s and the 36’s and neither of them wrinkle up like seeing in the video. I’m also a serious collegiate runner (135lbs) so i only use them for running(front foot striking so the middle and back of the midsole don’t get as damaged). These shoes are meant for serious runners who are a lot lighter than the average person which is why they might wrinkle when non-runners use the shoes for casual wear

@@jonnyrg7489 How are you a "serious collegiate runner" who strikes with their forefoot, yet using a shoe designed for a heel striker? If you were a serious collegiate runner, you'd think you'd at least know how to pick the right shoe. A forefoot runner should choose something with much less of a drop like an Altra, NB beacon, etc. Doesn't make sense to run in a shoe that has all it's cushion in the heel, when you don't even land on it. That's just extra weight and stack height leading to bad form. Not sure who's training you, but they're not doing a good job. You'll remove seconds off your runs if you throw away your pegs and get running shoes designed for your style of running. You'll avoid lots of future injuries too.

Hey I need help I'm a type of dude to wear shoes and beat them up soo my question is should I buy jordan 34 since I've never own a basketball shoe nor have I tried zoom or the infinity react because I didn't really liked the epic reacts I bought and also something to match with the ub 20
I have near 1000miles on my infinity reacts at sub 7min mile pace for every training run.a brilliant shoe would highly recommend.i ran always in Kayanos prior to nike but they don't come close to the Reacts.
Infinity react are 👌🏼 i loved turbos when i tried em on at foot locker. I didn’t buy cause of the back thing, they get rid of it for us casual peeps it would be primo
Well the shoes are made for runners and that “pointy thing” is to reduce drag and a smoother heel to toe transition, thus they will not get rid of it.

What's the best for running all conditions and of road and on road
I have the Peg 36 and Peg Turbo 2 and use them exclusively for running. Personally I believe the Turbos are worth the extra $ because of their quality, extra cushion and light weight. If you can find them on sale for $100 or less, cop. However, the Peg 36 is more durable and much more affordable. Both extremely comfortable running shoes.

Reviewing these shoes but ignoring their running performance is like a review of a corvette that focuses on towing capacity.
Everything Hes rates shoes by is subjective. A Corvette's towing capacity isn't subjective because, though dumb as hell, you could actually calculate it. That being said, it's more like reviewing a Corvette and rating how good it is based on how soft the seats feel when you sit in them.
The problem for me in running is I just focus on getting to my destination faster than my expectations and completely forgetting about the show's comfort
