And if I set the NC to a low volume when I exit the app when I'll listen to music will the NC remain as I set it from the app. I currently own the PXC 550 and I wonder from your perspective are the qc 35 II worth upgradeing or not, are they as good in sound quality as the PXC 550 because I know that their NC is awesome. Thanks. Hopefully I can answer some of your questions :).... You're able to change the NC setting by cycling through the button. But using the app gives you that same functionality plus some others too. Also, when you set the headphones with a setting, and then turn them off and re-use them again later, they remember the NC setting. As for the PXC 550, i've never used a pair so i'm not too sure to be honest which one has better quality. The Bose are very popular though here in Australia (but that could be due to brand name, the fact they go on special very often, they are a popular topic on OzBargain.com.au, etc.). Are you able to try the two pairs on in store to compare? Let me know if you had any other questions.

I ordered 1, and discounts lured me in and ended up sending the original back and ordered series 2. I was so disappointed to experience such bad quality with series 2 that I had to return it, too. Now, I ordered series 1, again. Call it craziness!
Also, with sound quality, I don't feel the punch and bass in series 2 as much as I did in series 1. Same with noise cancelation. I could easily hear people and noise in series 2. Such a letdown and embarrassment that predecessor still performs better than successor. Fun fact - Series 2 is offered at discount at $300 and series 1 is still at $329 and $350!!
So there now is Noise Cancelling in Wired mode on the old model ? That makes me want to buy the old one over the new because the price here in The Netherlands for V1 is 80 euro's cheaper!

Cause you do dj ing, and Some said that bose suffer sound delay while playing games, the sound delayed 1 second or so, and while watching movies, the lips are out of sync, what do you think?
I’m not a fan of Bose products normally as I find their audio quite flat with not much colour in it - but these headphones are an exception. Of course, with any pair of Bluetooth headphones, you’re limited in quality by the Bluetooth technology, but taking that into consideration these are great. As for the delay, I haven’t noticed a significant delay in them.
The only real Q is what’s the most comfortable over long periods, the best sound dampening, and the best audio? Unless you’re a geek who doesn’t leave home of course.

@@wilfromkc usb C doesn't mean anything (i can charge as fast with my micro usb...), and touchmode is harder to navigate than buttons.
My QC35 set has the ability to utilize Google assistant by pressing and holding the middle button between the two volume control buttons. Works great.
If only it had a type c connection. Would be priceless.

Are you sure you didn’t get a dodgy pair? Did you ask for a replacement?
The 35 iis just can’t be beat.
There is another feature new on QC35II, which is noise canceling is working in both wire or wireless mode, and QC35 only on wireless mode
+Iammrgan Gan looks like they have done an update recently because I used noise cancelling in wired mode earlier today on the original QC35’s

1) ANC
2) Google Assistant

I think my QC35 II fell more tighter on the head and more stiff on the padding vs original that I used over one year.
Obviously because you used the original over one year the padding softened.
