    The QC15 were the most pleasant to wear. I'm still using my pair of QC15s.

      Yeah the only reason the qc35 are more appealing is the integrated Bluetooth. I never really cared much for wireless until I was running through airports and I don't want to hear kids screaming. The rest of the time I'm just at my desk and I use the 25s. the qc35 also has a better mic and I make a lot of phone calls using it

    7 years ago, I bought a Beats Studio, enjoyed it on a bus ride, with great bass, but had people staring at me. When I got to work, I realized it was leaking music like anything. I returned, got QC15. Still enjoying the headphones.

    Nice review! Ive got the airmod bluetooth adapter for the QC15 and its excellent. You have now confirmed what i thought about the QC25 and QC35. I still think the QC15's are the best. The whole inconvenience of the QC35 that you can only use it with power and then when no power having to charge and not be able to use it. Personally with the bluetooth adapter for the QC15 is the perfect one.

      QC15 doesn't work without power-granted you can simply swap out a AAA battery, but if you are on aplane when the battery dies, you are still audio-less. The real issue I see with the QC35 is that the cable is not microphone enabled- so the QC15 is probably more of my Go-To for travel headphones.

      I always travel with 3 batteries, for 15 hour flights its what you want. I went ahead and ordered a new pair of 15s after having my old pair stolen in January which I had for 5 years. =(

      Actually there is a microphone in the headset of the CQ35. I use it for calls all the time now. Much more convenient than the cable that often has the wrong angle and people can't hear you. The 35s are great for phone calls.

      I wouldn't say that, even when you find the QC15s they are close to the same price as the QC25 if you want one in good condition, and the QC25 is just an overall improved QC15.
      Still works without power, slight improvements (only slight but still there) to noise cancelling and general sound quality and slightly better bass. Headband difference is so small it is barely noticeable without extreme use, but with the 15 the headband will deteriorate much faster - the 25 won't ever flake away like the 15 does in fact. And 3rd party headbands are cheap and comfortable so it doesn't really matter
      I suppose the case might be slightly better with the QC15, but you can get all kinds of Bose cases for around 10-15 (pounds or dollars, not much difference at this price level) on Amazon, including ones that are identical to the QC15 and even better ones.
      For value, the QC25 is still one of the best being anywhere from half to a third of the price of the 35 brand new!!

    The only time I wore my QC25 headphones for over 10 hours was on a flight from Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey to Ben Guarian Airport in Israel and still didn't feel them because of my extremely thick and curly hair. I also wore them on the flight back which was an hour longer.

    Great review when it comes about the description of almost everything EXCEPT the most important one. THE SOUND QUALITY.
    Even if you are not an expert when it comes to sound you could tell your opinion about bass,mids and treble among all these headphones.
    I confirm about the comfort of the Bose 15.

    I bought my QC 15 in 2012, and I use them at the gym and work almost every day,... The headband did last well, (it might be because I use a cap all the time... What I need to replace it is the phone hear pads.

    My bose QC15 were splendid for nearly 9 years, with new pads and cord twice, but last week suddenly there's no sound from the right side. I've tried simple tricks like changing cord and battery, but that didn't help. Anyone have an easy idea for what to do? Please

    • @RAZR_Channel
      @RAZR_Channel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Tell this exact story to Bose customer service and they will give you an upgrade for $100 (maybe 150). This means you will get the new qc35 V2s for about $150. The trick is don't go for the price just tell your story as it was and let them offer the upgrade price... don't just call up looking for a discount you have to have a legitimate reason and 9 years is totally legit. Inside one of the ear cups is the serial number you will need to give it to them over the phone and they will see that it's a legit unit and offer you a new set because repairing the old set would be the same amount of money. they've done this for me twice.... once I was in your situation the units were about 7 years old and the right ear cup guide. The second time was the QC 35 V ones that the speaker died in less than a year. So they swept both of them out the second pair was free because it was covered by warranty. As long as it is a reasonable mechanical failure... they will upgrade you at the discounted price. It can't be anything like a scratch on the speaker or anything minor it has to be a legit situation and 9 years is totally legit

    Good review. I have both the QC15 and QC35 (series II). As far as I'm concerned I don't notice a huge difference between the two in terms of noise cancelling or sound quality but the QC35 are a notch above the QC15 in my opinion. But having said that the QC15 are still an awesome set of headphones and I expect many more years of listening pleasure with them. I replaced the worn out cable a couple of years ago after it was pinched and began to fray and the ear pads after they began to split apart. I used third party vendors for replacements since Bose replacements are too expensive. Other than that they still work like a charm after 5 years of almost daily use.
    I very recently started looking for another set of noise cancelling headphones to use at work and so went to Best Buy to try out a bunch of different headphones. These included Skullcandy, Beats Studio 3 wireless, Sennheiser PXC 550 wireless, Bowers and Wilkins PX, Sony 1000 XM3 and a few other off brands. But when I tried on the QC35 it was, well shall we say, music to my ears. But I have to say the Sony WH1000 XM3 and Bowers and Wilkins PX were awesome and pretty much on par with the QC35. However, Best Buy was running a $50 dollar discount on the QC35 which ended up costing $299 versus $349 for the Sony and $340 for the Bowers and Wilkins PX so I walked out with the QC35 and haven't look back. I expect many years of listening pleasure from these as I have with the QC15.
    If you're looking for a good set of noise cancelling headphones and can't or don't want to spend the bucks for a new high end pair there are good deals for lightly used and refurbished QC15s' on the market for around $100 dollars or less on eBay. If you want wireless capability you can throw in a wireless adapter for around $60. All in you will spend around $160 to $180 (maybe less) and have a very good quality pair of headphones giving good bang for the buck. The added benefit is there are lots of good quality and inexpensive third party replacements for the Bose (like the ear pads) to keep your headphones going for a long time.

    When you talk about youtubers who are sponsored and are bias when talking about products Unbox Theory comes to my mind.

    • @RAZR_Channel
      @RAZR_Channel  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used to watch unbox therapy but eventually the channel changed into a guy just shoving a phone in your face and not really talking about it. If you watch his videos from the past versus the present it's basically just him talking about relatively random shitt. He used to go into the details and do professional reviews but now I've unsubscribed because it's just bulshit. Basically every video thumbnail is him holding a phone in your face that's it.

    • @chan13153
      @chan13153 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      He reminds me now of someone on QVC home shopping network trying to sell you a product rather than an actual review.

      F-ZERO unbox therapy is not a review channel. Its not a review, its an unboxing.
      Side note, impressive video! You managed to make a 32minute long video about headphones and not mention sound quality once, that is quite impressive!

    I have both and I honestly prefer the qc15s. The 25s seem very flat without any variance in tones. Don’t seem worth the money given quality of 15s that do have a bit of bass that is pleasant to the ears. I’m surprised that I didn’t like them though because everyone on TH-cam seems to praise their sound. Not loud enough and very flat, blah sound.

      The 35s are nice.. I've had them since this video and only been through 1 set of ear cups. Use them constantly especailly for phone calls. I use the 25s at my desk where I can rigg up a soft part for the head band because you can feel it in about an hour... Beats is SHIT!

    beats didnt really have to spend money on anything as monster company did everything already.
    dr dre dropped monster and kept the concept to make beats. monster then was suing dr dre for stealing there idea and hard work making ( can you guess what happens next lol) dr dre sold beats to the only company that can get away with stealing other peoples ideas (apple of course) so theres alittle history many people know now
    the money that dr dre had to spend was on promoting beats then done deal
