I wear my qc35’s when I mow the lawn and they do a wonderful job of blocking out the mower. 75% volume is all thats needed. My friend picked up a pair of the QC35 II’s and he’s loving them!
I went for comfort, durability, noise cancelling (didn't need to be powerful, I usually don't pay attention to background noise anyways). I don't need strong bass sound and I usually don't listen to music at high volumes. So far the Bose headphones are meeting my requirements. 😎😎😎😎 Thanks for the review. Was one of the reasons I decided to buy them.
Bought them today, they are soooo comfortable and the ANC is amazing.

I have the original QC35 and still love them. The few new features are great but won't make me run out and buy the new Series II. That said, you won't go wrong buying these awesome headphones. I imagine life expectancy is about the same as other Bose products which is quite a long time. Thank you for this awesome review.

Hi, I have the Bose QC35 and with the latest update from Bose Connect I have the choice to choose the level of noise reduction or turn it off altogether and it works beautifully. I do not see the interest of getting the qc35 II but then at all
EXCELLENT review. They are on my Christmas list and are on sale on Amazon for $279! The review on Google Assistant confirmed that they will be worth the money--in addition to ANC which is the main reason I want them. Again, Great review!

I have the pixel 2 and for the longest time I debated whether I should get the first gen or second of the quietcomfort 35's and decided to go with the first since the only difference was the Google assistant and I figured that when I hold the pause and play button it activates my Google Assistant and I could ask it whatever I want it to. Is there still a difference between the first gen and second of the quietcomfort in that way?
There is just one thing I am not clear on. Do the original qc 35's have noise cancelling that is just as good?
Ive had these sense 2017 best headphones still in 2021. Been wearing them basically 247/ while awakw while jogging running sleeping working gaming. Still amazing. Only thing ive had to replace is the ear cushions for 5$ on amazon
Does these headphones have a good amount of bass? Hear they are not good as bass heavy headphones because I like thumping bass ?
I just scored me a pair of these for $199. Pre black Friday sale. I have been using ANC headphones for the last 2 years using my TT headsets. However the ANC on these are just mind blowing! Great review on this product by the way, especially the ANC samples at the end.
Now it can be ordered online for just around 38 USD..
When I try to connect mine to my mac computer it only tries to connect to my iPad. When I turn the iPad off the computer shows it is searching for the iPad and it refuses to give up the search. I have connected bluetooth Sennheiser and Sony with no problem. I contacted Bose and Apple. They gave me some suggestions. Nothing worked. I'm taking them to an Apple store so they can try to connect them to another mac to find out if it's my mac or the Bose QC 35 II.

no there are models made for android and IOS for siri or google assistant
I got mine to pair with my Samsung Galaxy S9+ and it works despite being made for the iPhone and iPad.
could you plz check if your headphones have distinctively better sound in terms of quality and volume levels if connected over wire compared to the Bluetooth connection. I am not sure if mine are defective or the qc 35ii just works that way. the volume level is like half of the level when I connect them with wire directly to my phone or laptop. and the sound over bluetooth feels muddy a bit. the sound over wire is just perfect. full, bassy and crip. thanks for your time.
ONE MORE DIFFERENCE: the foam in the originals is softer. I quite distinctly remembered the foam feel of the first versions when I tried a friend's pair. I compared yesterday and the new ones definitely feel a bit stiffer.

Watching on my Sony WF 1000x.it have good bass and good treble .The wireless earphone allows me to sleep side way on my flight to Singapore. Super comfortable, super quiet and super cool 😎.

I use public transport daily, maybe use airplanes like 4 times per year and i'm always on the Street, just searching for some wireless funny sound cause i already have open back headphones and a good dap.

how does these hold up in 2021?
I love these Bose headphones except for the fact of gaming on a PC which apparently needs a Microsoft app which I don't know how to get and is driving me absolutely crazy since other Microsoft games/apps need the same thing. I have an HP ENVYx360 which apparently isn't on the list of accepted computers for the app if I looked it up right. Useless for this? Please help. I'd llike to use these headphones for gaming, which is why I bought them in the first place.

The level of noise canceling can be adjusted in the app, even for the original qc 35.
Can these pads be replaced
Just got these - tested by connecting to my phone - and sound quality is amazing. But got these with watching films in mind and I cannot connect them to ps4 and cannot seem to find a viable blutooth transmitter for my tv which supports the AAC/SBC. MIght have to return them to find a pair of earphones that connects without the worry of lag...
Connect them using the aux cable provided to the ps4 controller. There is no way to connect them via Bluetooth. You can turn them on to still have good sound and anc while using them with the ps4.

Even the case rocks. They were a gift and the highest praises I can give for my bose are not every time he FaceTime’s me he notices that I have them on, and he FaceTime’s me a lot.

I still get bass rattle on some songs. I wish they were a bit louder and the highs a bit higher... wish for better sound quality. Bowers & Wilkins PX is a better sound but, they are not comfortable. I returned the B&W and kept the QC35II. I’d rather have better sound quality and less features
Excellent objective review
The Q35's are great headphones, however, it's really hard to take phone calls on them in noisy or event slightly noisy environments. The microphone picks up all background sound and makes it hard for the person you've called to hear you.
I've noticed this as well. The microphone really amplifies external sounds during calls.
I’m 37 years old I prefer my headphones for music only. If I’m playing a game cool . As long as I can plug my Sony Walkman into them super awesome

I bought the Bose QC35 II for work. I thought they were amazing at first. After a week of using with the ANC on (which is great btw) I got terrible ear pain. I last used them on 2 days ago and my ears still hurt a bit today. Also, my ears were never ringing, and even after 2 days I can still hear a low volume buzzing in my ears. Even my jaw starting hurting when I had the noise cancellation on high. They hurt so much I wanted to go to the doctor. With noise cancellation off I have had no issues. Anybody else had this problem? I am thinking of switching to Sony. To be fair, I had issues with another pair of ANC headphones in the past. I am wondering if I am too sensitive to noise cancellation.

Harry QC35’s are super comfortable, they sound great and ANC is awesome. You can’t go wrong with them.
Go with the 1000xm2. You get more bang for your premium price and they have more room for future updates because of all their features. Bose sound quality is known to be less dynamic. The biggest turn off for me with the bose is they still use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm jack. Who still does that? Most headphones nowadays use the regular 3.5mm to 3.5mm jacks that are more easily replaceable.
The only difference between the 2 is that bose is more comfortable but the sonys wh1000xm2 have sound profiles so it’s pretty much preference
Picked mine up last week for 280.. Loving them.. Bose's comfort is a tad better, but the sound is just superior.. So I picked sony's

Got a pair of these and I can say that I have never heard music sound like this. The first thing I listened to was Hammock Mysterium on Google Play and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. Unfortunately there is a consistent stutter or what you would perhaps call "drop out". I was shocked and disappointed however I realized something that beautiful couldn't exist without some type of glitch or problem. Between the stutters it is magnificent.
Been researching and trying to fix this all night. I tried them with the power cord and noise cancelling and the sound isn't nearly as good. Now that I have heard sound like that I can never go back. Can anyone recommend a high end NON-CORDLESS pair of headphones that can give me this amazing sound? I'd pay $1000.00 to get that sound consistently without the persistent stuttering problems that apparently come with Bluetooth.
You must be joking. These headphones are the crappiest sound quality I have, I bought them just to have BT calls. But assuming you're serious, get some Sennheiser HD650's (these are not ANC, are open back and fully corded, so these are for playing in private quiet rooms) and rediscover your music.
@@jove1155 He is joking, these QC 35 II sound worse than my $50 pair of HyperCloudX. With the power turned off, the sound is barely audible on max volume.
