- In this video, I am wading for crappie the size of dinner plates. Wading for crappie in shallow water is my favorite technique to catch spawning crappie! The Crappie Spawn of 2023 is coming to an end here in Texas, but there are still a few crappie in shallow water. I am crappie fishing with a jig (Slab City Jigs) and my 10' ACC Crappie Stix. There is nothing better than Crappie Spawn fishing, when you can find crappie in shallow water and catch them at your feet, it doesn't get much better than that! This is my favorite video due to the fact that me and my brothers also love to wade during the spring in Texas! Ain’t nothing like it catching crappie all beside you in 4ft of water or less. One of the few TH-camrs/fishermen that fish from all aspects (bank, boat, waders) which I can definitely relate to! Keep up the good content!

I carry a fly fishing dip net when i'm wading Lake Grenada. It's easy to carry and saves lots of lost fish.

I was planning on fishing this Thursday but I found out the Bass master classic is fishing my local lake for the next 3 days. So I had to change plans for Monday because I'm not getting in the middle of 250 pro's. I'll just wait and seeing if all the fish they drop at the ramp I go to will be hungry by Monday 😂.

Man it's crazy how east you make it seem. I can't seem to target crappie very well. Tried all throughout winter and this spring to get one and I just can't get one.
I think a fisherman has to get those no cathing anything hours in order to go and get a bunch. It's something that just has to be done
