A CRAPPIE Fishing SECRET The "Pro's" WON’T TELL YOU | Crappie Fishing 2023‼️

  • In this video, I give you a crappie fishing tip the "pro's" won't even tell you! This crappie fishing tip will indeed help you catch more summer crappie. Everyone wants to know how to catch crappie in hot weather, the biggest tip for summer crappie fishing is actually quite simple! Crappie DO NOT go into as deep of water as most people think. The surface temperature is in the low 90's right now, most people would assume crappie go 25+ feet deep! That is simply NOT TRUE. I stay in the 15'-18' of water in this video, and almost pulled a limit of crappie out of the water. I hope you enjoyed this video. Thanks for watching! God Bless!

    First time subscriber to any TH-cam channel. Recently had retina surgery and I’m having to do the whole face down thing while I recover. I found your videos and they have really helped me to pass the time, but I have learned a lot. Huge thank you! Thank you for a motivational video. I also live in Texas and yes it's been brutal. I live 30 miles south of Ft Worth in the town of Granbury. I fish Lake Granbury for stripers but I want to learn to catch crappie. I think they are the best tasting fish in Texas. Again thanks for your awesome videos. Now I'm excited to get out there.

    We'll take this long version and make it short. You can catch a lot of fish once you find where they are. Fishing like you are if it's hot there looking for a cool spot which is generally deeper water with good structure.

    Try this and see if it works for you. When you figure out you’re on some bigger fish, about every other one, fight them just a little longer. I believe when you do that it somehow triggers the rest of the fish in the school to want to actively feed. I think it makes them want to compete for your bait. Let me know what you think. Keep on WACKING THEM FAT SALLYS!!!

    I really enjoy catching Crappie and I really like this video! I'm 70 years old and have fished all my life and you are teaching me things I never knew! I am a little surprised you use such large hooks but you sure are catching those Crappie on them! Are the minnows alive or are they dead, I was trying to see how you hook them up! they look like big minnows too, I'm from southern Michigan and we generally use fairly small minnows! I hook mine through the lips, so I don't cast them off! I notice you aren't losing your minnows, maybe because of how you are hooking them on! I am looking forward to watching your videos young man, tyvm very informative and just great videos all around!

Using worms and all the artificial baits I see people use but with not much luck, some days I don't even get a nibble . Are you using dead minnows? We can't use live minnows here in Utah, but if dead ones work that would be a fame changer. I used to use live minnows when I lived in PA and that was the ticket

    How do you hook the minnows?

    • @903fishing
      @903fishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      I thread my minnows on. If I don’t, and the bluegill are on the piles, then they will just take the minnow off easy if the minnow is hooked through the back or tail. In the mouth, out the gill, and back through the top of the back. Doesn’t kill the minnow and it can move. Thanks for watching! God bless!
