- In this video, I am catching MONSTER winter creek crappie with jig and bobber. I am kayak creek crappie fishing in east Texas and I have never seen anything like this before. This beaver dam will not allow anymore crappie or bait fish to come any further into the creek. I had a feeling to go past this beaver dam, and BOOM, monster creek crappie were loaded just past it. I was glad to finally see that happen with your line in the water, LOL!! I often wonder why anglers throw their line back in the water after the hook is removed. I know it's just a habit, but a catfish can come along and pull that rod into the water. I've lost one by doing that on the bank, LOL!!! 🎣

Where you live there are no limits as to how much crappie you can catch? I'm asking because here where I live in Oklahoma, we can only keep up to 5 crappies on a single day and they must be 10 inches or bigger. In my opinion crappies are the best tasting pan fish.
