- In this video, I show you 2 creek crappie fishing techniques that will catch you creek crappie. Creek crappie fishing in East Texas is heating up, and the colder it gets, the better the creek crappie fishing will be! The first creek crappie fishing technique is jig and bobber, this technique is great for creek ledge fishing as well as fishing for crappie in open water that are chasing bait. The second creek crappie technique is vertical jigging, vertical jigging is a great technique to use when crappie are hugged up on structure in the creek. Both of these creek crappie fishing techniques will catch you creek crappie, depending on what the crappie are doing in the creek at that time. I hope you enjoyed this video! Thanks for watching! I like this video I never used the slip cork technique until I saw how effective it was, and you gave so much good information on how to locate the fish, so now I used this technique and caught fish now this has become one of my favorite ways of fishing. Thanks

You should do a dock fishing video as many of us won't go into creeks like you did as don't have kayak's but most of us have access to docks to fish from being on them. How to find the ones worth fishing and which ones have brush under them. Plus if you could do some sideshooting to get under the docks where the biguns usually are.

How much water is needed at the mouth for crappie to run in the creek? I went last weekend and tried both these techniques, but didn't have any luck. There was maybe 2 feet of water at the mouth of the creek.
Edit: I did have some luck: I caught 6 catfish, all on crappie jigs.

@@joshuaworley9635 usually not. Most TH-camrs don’t. Thousands of people watch these videos. The whole point in my videos is to teach you techniques to use on your creeks and lakes. Not for me to tell you where I am so you can go to that exact spot and fish. If I was to tell everyone where I was, there would be dozens if not hundreds of people there the next day. Not very smart in my opinion.
@903fishing true, I don't give away locations to the fishing holes I frequent, but the body of water I'm at I usually don't mind sharing. I mainly asked because there aren't many creeks near me that i know of that aren't filled with gators or have public access so I was just curious.
