  • It's been 6 months since I had surgery to remove the cancer. When I look back it's amazing to see how far I've come. And I know it will get even better in the next 6 months. Thank you for your support and continued prayers. I really appreciate it! It has helped get me to where I am today.

I've already made a comment, but I had to leave before the video was finished. I didn't get to tell you about my sister-in-law. She also had cancer of the rectum. We did not live at the same place, but I would go to her periodically and stay a week. I drove her to her appointments and went through the surgery for the colostomy bag. My brother was a big help also, but he was working. I remember one time she came out of her radiation in distress. She would only say that it was so humiliating. I wish she had you and your videos. You would have helped her so much. She died about a month after her surgery of pneumonia. I was with her. Her case was involved because she had CPOD. This was about 11 years ago, and I miss her still. I loved her. My brother died about a year and a half after her. It's hard to lose family. Thank you again for all your videos explaining what to expect in such a case. God has given you a vocation. You are in my prayers. My love

Oh my gosh, to have both of your siblings pass and so close together. I'm so sorry. It is so nice that you got to spend time with her and help her as much as you could. And as hard as it is it is wonderful that you were able to be with her when she passed. I'm sure you were a great comfort. 💜

As a fellow cancer survivor I am so happy you are doing so well. I just read where there is an increasing number of unusual cancers that there is speculation is a result of the Covid 19 infection. More research needed. You are a beautiful woman and brave!

Jenny, I have no doubt that with you telling your story and explaining your thoughts, concerns, healing, and health experience with this, that you are helping someone out there, that is going through this or something similar. Such a journey you have been on, and I have watched your videos from almost the beginning. ❤
I thank God for my colon rectal surgeons in Connecticut. As you know, mine is a different situation then yours, but I am grateful for these awesome doctors in this field.
Lol, oh yes, you have to have a BM before you are released from the hospital! I remember that!! First thing the nurses asked each morning in the days after surgery!😊
I am so glad you are doing so well! God bless you, Jenny. Keep smiling and moving forward. ❤ Hugs to you! 🌸🦋 Praying each day for you. ✝️

Jenny, thank you so much for your 6th month update. I am so happy for your progress. My 6th month lumpectomy date is June 22 - getting close. I started getting B12 inhections to get my energy back. And I gathered myself together and changed Oncologists - mine had no empathy or compassion. You have helped me so much by sharing your journey. Thank you!❤

Continued prayers and good wishes as you go forward Jenny, and I understand the “scanxiety”, I have my first one in August😬

Thank you! Good luck on your scan and prayers for your emotional well-being on getting through it. I just looked at my July calendar and realize I haven't even written in my scan, yet. I'll have to go look that up. That will make it even more real in my brain, too. One day at a time! 💜

Hi Jenny I'm so glad you're doing well ❤ I've lost 11kg from 2 treatments of enhertu for breast cancer did you do anything to gain your weight back? X

Thank you! And I'm sorry you are having to go through this journey. Goodness that's a big weight loss. I had lost 40 pounds the year previous to being diagnosed but then held steady throughout treatment. I drank the Ensure high protein drink and had ice cream as I figured that was high calorie. Now that I've finished treatment and surgery I have gained back 25 pounds. I pray that your weight stabilizes and that you gain back what you need to and for the courage and strength to get through this. Sending light and love your way. 💜🙏
