This woman is truly remarkable. She is dealing with her own health issues, yet selflessly advocating and caring about the well being of others. She is an inspiration. Thank you for making this video.
That is what trials are for and whoa beyond to anyone who has gone through it and pass judgement on someone else who is going through it. It never, ever, ends well.
Agreed! Thank you so much for making this video and detailing the different symptoms and how they progressed. I have a lot of the early symptoms and we'll get it checked out - just in case. Thank you ❤
The Lord is healing them as I write this on the condition they improve their eating, drinking and physical activities. Oh, and let's not forget the reduction of toxic chemicals in all the food, drinks and air.
Just lost my daughter to colon cancer last week. She was only 23 when diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She fought like hell but eventually the cancer took her from me when she was 28 years old. Such a horrible disease. I’m glad you did this video and hope more young folks seek medical treatment when these symptoms present themselves. Thank you for spreading awareness ❤
Words cannot express my sorrow for you. Early 20s is far too young for this, and yet it is more common. It sounds like your daughter fought so hard. My heart goes out to you, and I will pray for your peace of mind and spirit. She was lucky to have such a loving and caring parent. I hope many young people also heed the warning signs. We seem to be much more likely to dismiss “little things” when we are younger, figuring it is either normal, or that it will go away.
I don’t mind them putting stuff in food. I just have an issue with when you’re not allowed to know what’s in the food. How can you make an informed choice when even the labeling that people trust is untrustworthy? The governments job isn’t a control the choices, but it is to make sure we have choices and are not being lied to. Sadly it seems to be government that is making choices for us and they seem to do a horrendous job! Remember how they thought natural saturated fats were worse than trans fats and they subsidize chemically sprayed to harvest corn till it was in everything under a variety of names and several different levels of processing with commercials allowed that said, no human trial has proven when there had been no human trial? 🤦🏽♀️
I have had it twice in very early stages. Had female cancer early stages Twice. It costed me a total Hysterectomy to in 1999.Right after I was newly married my second time Thank God made it to nearly 25 years .I have to every few years get my esophagus Stretched I have EOE hard time swallowing May this Ladie RIP
@@BigValleyLivingBless you! I've had many of these symptoms for a while. Doctors always say it's prob IRRITABLE BOWEL.. I know my Mom Had Rectal cancer but was Melanoma. I had a cousin about 8 yrs younger than me pass away from Colorectal cancer about 2 ys ago. His was so bad by the time he went to get seen in the ER that there's was Nothing they could do. I pray that you are Well and Cancer FREE in Jesus Holy Name! 🙏🏻
Thank you so much . I just had a colonoscopy, and the doctor found two polyps I had seen him 5 years earlier with no polyps. He cut out the polyps and told me to see him in three years. This videos was very informative. I really appreciate it and i pray the Lord preserve your life. In Jesus name.
I just lost my brother from colon cancer, he was 48. Diagnosed stage 4 at age 46. No symptoms except a bit of fatigue, until he started pooping blood. He was very fit, healthy, didn’t smoke or drink.
I am so sorry to hear that. 48 is way too young. People are being diagnosed at younger ages all the time. Make sure you get checked regularly and let your doctor know a sibling had this cancer. It's very important that your doctors are aware.
Second hand smoke, air pollution due to industrial area, bugs and excretions and even molds... ... any toxins will hurt your sensitive colons. Things you have no idea or think it is COMMON are actually killing you. VOCs, for instance... ... These things don't kill you outright, you don't feel any thing as if UVC hit you and give you cancer you won't feel anything when UVC hits you, and people think it is so ok... ... So your bro may not have smoked or drink alcohols... ... but toxic dusts, soil particles, bugs... ... including well known heavy metals will all kill you. My neighborhood won't listen, and many already show signs of cancers. But cancers are daily issues for ALL people, the reason why their bodies won't remove those cancers is simple... ... those fools insist on cancer lifestyle and exposures, and won't do anything about it. Or simply like your bro, has no idea why and what are killing. That's all. Come to my neighborhood, you will see massive numbers of smokers with tummies, men with 6mth pregnacy not because they are fat. Remove the tummies, they are actually normal figure. Hee hee hee hee hee hee... ... And their poison spread to others who are also rebellious against me... ... so they are dying too. So many funerals... ... LOL~
Ma’am, you are wonderful. Thank you for sharing your story. I am 24 and have had 2 colonoscopies in the last 5 years and I’m about to get another soon. I’ve had bowel issues since I was a teenager and it was always brushed off as just dietary choices and being young. Then when I was 19, it was labeled as just IBS. Then when I was 20, I doubled over at work and started bleeding internally. Which I found out through having black bowel movements and not feeling like I could stand upright. It felt like I was ripping apart when I stood straight. It was labeled as once again-just bad IBS that caused some inflammation in my intestines causing tears. Now, I’m 24 and I’ve had multiple ER trips from doubling over in pain coming from my abdomen. I got referred to a gastroenterologist and they said it’s just a bout of bacterial colitis and can be fixed with antibiotics. That didn’t work. I haven’t had a normal bowel movement in almost a year. It’s just super, super soft small stools 3-10 times a day. Now I’m FINALLY done with the hamster wheel and I’m going to a whole new doctor. I’m going to ask them to do every test to figure out an actual answer, because I’m miserable. I’ve been tired for months. Sleep does nothing to help. I am foggy all the time and it affects my job. I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. Your video really just affirmed that I’m going to advocate for myself more and get this figured out. Thank you. You’re helping a lot of people and your story matters so much.
Might need to go to a holistic practioner Instagram of a traditional Dr, they're not trained to actually heal anything. These are some things that might help until you can get some answers, slippery elm, digestive enzymes, bile salts-tudca or ox bike pills, olive leaf and oregano/both will kill off bad bacterias, and other nasties internally, b1, black seed oil taken orally, and cayenne pepper can stop internal and external bleeding, and it can help heal internal ulcers. And warm water enemas to clear out colon fully at least once a week if you're only passing pebbles, you might could benefit from a colonic, obstructions in gut can sometimes cause the pebbled poop.
I hope you are doing better. I am 21 with your exact same problem. For the last year I haven’t had a normal bowel movement I’ve had soft stools and it never feels like my bowels completely empty. I’ve also had black stools and after pushing with the doctors I finally got a referral to a specialist which he then booked me in for a colonoscopy that I’ll be having in 3 weeks. Unfortunately when you are young it gives them another reason to dismiss our symptoms. Keep pushing and I hope you get the answers you need
wow! You're the first story of Colorectal cancer I have seen that addresses very clearly the shame/embarrassment of talking about bowel habits, especially to your doctor! I was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer three months ago, and it was my own unwillingness at first to talk about this kind of thing - wake up, Americans! We need to talk about our physical bodies and not be shamed into silence, or stuff like CANCER happens. Thank you so much for your story!
Kevin, I'm sorry you had this diagnosis, too. It is such a shock. It took me years to decide to bring this to TH-cam, as it is a sensitive topic. I have been telling friends, family, and co-workers to get checked and pay attention for years, so I figured it might help someone who doesn't know anyone who has had the experience. I am praying for you to get and remain healthy. Best wishes to you, fellow fighter!
Im trying to talk to my doctors and they brush me off. 2 and a half years of sudden GI issues and they havent listened to me. They finally sent a consult to get a colonoscopy but still no appt yet. Took a Colon Health Test last night and tested positive for blood but no visible blood. Lost 35 lbs since last Fall. Hard not to worry esp watching all these videos of people like me and my situation so far.
I also had colon cancer age 20 had all the same symptoms same as you and when I went to the bathroom it was very painful would not wish the pain not even on my worst enemy age 30 now and well thanks to God
At 53 years old I had my first colonoscopy (October 2024). Thankfully the results were all clear. I have a poor diet, don’t exercise but my job is very active. I have never smoked or drank alcohol which I think plays a big part in my clear results from my recent colonoscopy. I can’t stress enough to all the people out there who are putting off having a colonoscopy please don’t….its the easiest thing I’ve ever done and it will put your mind at ease.
Thank you so much for sharing! My mother passed away from colon cancer when she was 42 yo. I was 16 and my sisters were 9yo and 3yo. They were even worse about checking younger people back in 2002 when she was diagnosed. I get checked every 5 years since age 25. All I want in life is to see my son grow old. If you are parent, please remember that your health is not just for you. Indulgences in unhealthy habits are not worth leaving your child without a parent. (My mom didn’t have terrible habits but she wasn’t super healthy either. People ate more junk food then and things like probiotics weren’t well known.)
@@BigValleyLiving I take all the things I need that are scientifically proven and I know that I’m benefiting from. Methylated B vitamins, minerals, spore probiotics, etc. I also no longer eat processed meats because that’s the number one trigger food for colon cancer. Thanks for the advice!
I had Colorectal Cancer, Stage 3, the symptoms were there, I was diagnosed with it when the bowel movements became difficult, they found a tumor, between the size of a tennis ball & Baseball. They did a " Hemi- Collectomy ", removing the Tumor & several feet of bowels, then re-connected the bowels. Prior to surgery my symptoms were frequent bowel movements movements that were sometimes difficult, but I went for an exam & they kept me & did the surgery the next day. I have been fine since then, & so grateful 🙏 to the Drs.
I'm so glad you had the surgery and it was a success! That sounds scary, though. I am grateful that I was able to be re-sected, as well. Continued good health to you. Thank you for sharing to make others aware! May God bless you forever and ever! Good doctors are hard to find. Keep yours!
What were your symptoms? I'm having stomach upset, pain in lower right quadrant which is excessive gas in the bowel/colon. Feeling like I have to go to the bathroom alot, my stools were big and bulky that they would clog up the toilet, now they are smaller, when I'm on my period after I have a bowel movement and wipe back there, there's blood on the toilet paper but never when I'm not on my period, I get full fast, it feels like there's shards of glass up there, my butt is itchy top after a bowel movement. Sorry if it's tmi. I'm glad to hear your surgery went well.
I’m not a doctor but I felt I needed to mention this. You should maybe go get checked up on. If this has persisted past a few days, go see someone. You could have endometriosis. It’s very common. Doctors often have no idea and often brush it off so maybe see an OBGYN. My wife and I have been to countless appointments and she is going in for surgery. Please go get checked up. Could be gastritis, IBS or IBD. A doctor will be able to help so put your worries to rest and see a doctor. All the best
no one likes to talk about this or hear this BUT it's so important, thanks for telling us. Side note, you have a good presentation style, easy to hear and easy to understand.
Thank you so much for your kind comments. I do appreciate it. I will talk to anyone about this - better to try and make others aware than to hide from it. I will never forget the gastroenterologist taking me into his office after my colonoscopy, and calling my husband to the office My husband had originally been told to just pick me up at the passenger pickup area when the office called. I knew something was off, but to hear those words...ugh
Thank you. My husband was a clean-living, vegetarian, daily exercise health nut. He died of colon cancer 10 years ago. I'm the one with the bad habits. I hate looking in the toilet, but I will do so now. God bless you.
I have heard similar stories. It is just so strange how things turn out, isn't it? I hope some of the things discussed in this video are helpful to you, and that you continue to have good health. I am so sorry for your loss. God bless you, too.
Thank you for sharing your story. Yesterday my husband diagnosed colon cancer and i am so worried for him. Pls pray for best results for those various examiu. Godbless
Big hugs to you and prayers for you both. This is survivable and preventable. Always keep that in mind. Tell your husband (and remember for yourself) that I am a few months shy of being diagnosed SEVEN years ago. Seven. It hasn’t always been easy, but I can tell you it has been worth it. Please keep in touch.
I like the way you used candy to demonstrate how your stool looked. Very clever! I appreciate your candor. Another tip: follow the current guidelines on getting your screening colonoscopies. I did. At the time, 50 was the recommended age to start. I had one at 50 and it was all clear, no polyps. So my next one was at age 60 where a very small polyp was found. Turned out to be stage 1 rectal cancer. Thankfully surgery was the only treatment I needed, no chemo or radiation. I was so grateful I didn't procrastinate (and I have very good health insurance) about getting that colonoscopy because I had NO symptoms that would have otherwise sent me to the doctor. Years earlier, when my dad was 80, he was also diagnosed with stage 1 colon cancer. He is still with us at age 93, living independently.
You are the perfect example of early detection! Had I gone months earlier, I would have likely been the same, but my initial diagnosis ended up as Stage II. Within a year, a second spot appeared in an ovary. Also, your dad’s story is an inspiration! I hope your family is aware, so the younger generations know it runs in the family. Perhaps they can get tested earlier, to be sure. God bless you and your dad. Thank you for sharing your story. It is inspiring!
And you weren't yet 50 I hope I didn't come across as being judgemental. I certainly would have responded the same as you with the earlier symptoms. They did genetic testing on me too and they don't believe it's genetic, just bad luck. My family is very aware and staying alert.
I had colon rectal cancer 2001 doctors gave me 18 months to live because the cancer spread to my liver I didn't know it was colon rectal cancer until i started bleeding The only thing i had has my lower back and my legs hurt really bad i just couldn't sleep for the pain After i had surgery and radiation I found my back and legs stop hurting so i asked the doctors about that and he o yes you're legs and back can because we have nerves that goes from you're legs to your back and legs I can tell you im still here gavin GOD the Glory and honor Prayer changed all things Doctors said i like to have u on my prayer team
I am so happy to hear that you beat this! Your story is such an inspiration to me and everyone who is fortunate enough to read about your success. Thank you so much for finding us and for making such a beautiful comment. Prayers and hugs to you, and continued good health!
I know the symptoms... ... So I have removed most of them. The system has to be 'reversed' step by step. Some may have watched news about sudden disappearance of stage 4 whatever cancers... ... naturally without doctors. There is a reason behind. Just remember the body respond... ... it becomes like this because it responds to you, and it can become normal ok also because it responds to you... ... That's the key.
I have stage three colorectal cancer and am undergoing radiation & chemo right now. I’m only 37 years old. The tumor is in my rectum and about the size of a baseball. I am praying that the radiation kills the tumor as the surgeon says they have a good chance of not being able to reconnect during surgery due to how low it is. I was bleeding for years and ignored it. Then the pain started. The pain is excruciating, that’s what sent me to the Doctor.
I really commend you for doing what you’re doing. You really care about people, you are selfless and are a true thinker. You are battling and I can tell you are thinking more about others. I hope you realize the impact you are actually making. Your honesty will save people.
I cant even listen to this without crying. I had 3 bowel resections in 4 years all 3 times i had emergency surgery due to perforation. Im struggling so bad
I am SO sorry! One is enough, let alone 3. It's like you must have been in recovery stage for years. My heart and prayers to out to you. Was it the same medical team who went in? My goodness, it seems strange that they didn't get everything done the first time. Please stay in touch. I'm in awe of your strength. Keep fighting. Praying for some comfort, as well.
I'm prepping now for my colonoscopy tomorrow morning. My mother and her father both had colon cancer, so it was a given that I would be tested regularly. Thank God, so far it's been just polyps and no cancer, but I've made changes in my eating and exercising habits that have made me feel better physically and mentally, and I feel empowered by my self-advocacy. Thank you for making this video.
Thank you my friend! I am seeing a new gastroenterologist on Tuesday 3 days away. Chronic diarrhea for a few months now. I’m 64 and yes, I am nervous . You gave me great advice but best of all you took away my loneliness ! ❤
I think a LOT of cancer patients get to a more advanced stage because of how uncomfortable we might feel about discussing our personal personal issues with even our healthcare providers. I really appreciate your making this video including your personal personal issues. I'm certain it will save lives. God bless! P.S. Thanks for being informative, succinct , and concise but pleasant & detailed.
I think you are spot-on about not wanting to talk to the doctor. However, bowel movements are a part of life, and I'm afraid too many of us are uncomfortable talking about it or don't want to be told to exercise more and eat a healthier diet. Or to quit smoking or drinking. No matter what it is, being healthy and alive is better than any perceived deprivation. Thank you for your kind comments. I sure hope people get value if they're on the fence about whether to be screened or not. May God bless you, too.
@@sj9410. It seems like they’re unwilling to have a multitude of false alarms to catch people here and there. They’d rather let everyone keep going and risking it.
Have a blessed Sunday...We are still waiting for his result from Australia,to be confirm that it's a growth or a cancer...but through prayers and I'm giving him herbs he is recovering now....I'm really blessed in your video your you gave me peace...Love all the way from Papua New Guinea...
Thank you! Because if you, I’m going to the ER right now, I’ve been struggling with pain and all your symptoms, I’m a 59 year old, I’m so sorry for what I did to my poor body! ❤
I need to go to the doctor. I am now 49 and for several years as soon as I eat lunch, within 10-15 mins I have to run to the bathroom with explosive diarrhea. FOR YEARS! Lately I been having the little ribbon 💩 as well and now I have diarrhea sporadically through out the day. But mostly feel constipated. I am definitely very worried something is not right with my body. Thank you for sharing your symptoms and journey with us 🙏
That sounds positively miserable. I was in your shoes, at the same age, for the most part. Please make an appointment with your primary and let them know what’s going on. Ask for a referral to a gastroenterologist ASAP. In my case, after taking my primary, he referred me to gastroenterologist and I had a quick consultation there. Within a couple of weeks I had my colonoscopy and within weeks of that, surgery. People think it took a long time, but it went by quickly. I had to do prepare to be out of work, have a house that could be maintained without great effort, etc. Please let us know your outcome. Prayers to you for being aware and being brave.
I am 41, and I had a really tough time last year, so I started eating a lot more processed and junk food, especially salami as she said. I noticed my belly was bloated and I also started experiencing more diarrhea with strong odors. I completely changed my diet to include fruits, vegetables, greens juice, fresh eggs, and meat. My life has completely changed. I lost weight in my belly area, and my energy levels increased. Food is the most important factor if you want to be healthy.
You are a darling, thank you for sharing your story. I too had colon cancer and had a resection 2014. I am off to Drs tomorrow as I think it is Back. Life is hard as I struggle with walking as I was paralysed at beginning of Covid in 2020 and have had to learn to walk again. I’m so exhausted I sleep most of the day. I know it’s not right, I’m supposed to exercise but I am in constant pain. So much for old age. Just have to find the joy in each day I guess. Anyway thanks for the reminder and I know it will help someone out there. Cheers. Wishing you love and light Michelle. ❤❤
You are an Angel for taking the time, and allowing yourself to be so vulnerable, in order to keep others informed. I am glad to see you doing so well. Continued good health to you - thank you ☺️
Thank you, Jennifer! Every person who is encouraged to go "make sure" nothing is wrong, who might have felt silly by doing so, then either finds out they're OK (WIN!!!) or need treatment (early) is worth it. I'm certainly not alone in the fight. I appreciate you watching and supporting my message!
You are a strong woman and I want to take out time to appreciate you for making this video. i tell you this is the best video on TH-cam about this topic. Very detailed. I pray that you receive full recovery from this sickness.
You have such a gentle face and demeanor, and obviously care very much about people's health (especially when it comes to c-r cancer). You are beautiful! 🙂
Very important and helpful tips! I know it's not a comfortable topic, but thank you! My husband just had a big scare, and he was tested for colon cancer and was diagnosed with diverticulitis. He was emergency flown to a hospital 3 hours away and had surgery. He had to have an ostomy bag for almost 6 months. He just had the reversal a few months ago and is doing ok so far. His symptoms were similar to the flu, and once he couldn't break his fever, we took him to the ER. He also had many of the same symptoms you were having but was dismissive about it also. I know most people dont like being whiny about health symptoms, but it's so vital to catch these things early, or they can be fatal! I appreciate you bringing awareness! ❤
Thank you. Your husband is a fighter, and you are a fantastic partner to be by his side. Diverticulitis is no great shakes, from what I have heard. My surgeon offered a 50/50 chance of colostomy bag or not after the resection. I’m glad he got that reversed, and hope he has as easy of a recovery/transition as possible. Prayers and good vibes that his recovery is full and we have a chat check-in in 20 years!
I've recently noticed changes in my bowel movements, including increased constipation, which I believe may be linked to my lifestyle changes. Since quitting smoking and reducing my exercise routine, I've experienced more frequent constipation. To address this, I've scheduled an examination to check for any serious issues, such as colon cancer, after detecting a small amount of blood in my stool-though it could simply be a result of severe constipation. I'm 38 and want to take proactive steps towards better health. I’ve been committed to quitting smoking and drinking for over a year, and now I’m focusing on improving my exercise routine and overall wellness. My goal is to get back into regular exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle to support my well-being.
Good for you! These changes are all positive. I knew someone who had constipation as her symptom, which was 180 degrees from what I experienced. No two cases are identical. I will keep you in my prayers. Keep up those positive changes going!
I was constipated, which caused hard movements that would tear my skin, and bleed. My Doctor said, take Magnesium! It causes loose stools, and changed my life.
I hope you realize you are helping people and possibly saving lives by this video. I’m getting a colonoscopy soon due to some IBS symptoms. Hoping for the best. I quit smoking 5 years ago and it was the best decision I’ve made in my life ❤️
I just lost a friend with this week to Colon Cancer. It had spread to her stomach and to her liver! Only 4 weeks ago did she find out she had this! Nauseous, then bloating, then constipation till she prolapsed people. I just can't imagine!! She started vomiting the same day she prolapsed, bent over hurting. Went to hospital on Saturday and on Tuesday gone to be with the Lord!! No doctor ever caught this! I'm still in shock, 4 weeks ago, I lost my best friend!!!
It is how we live today. We aren’t eating enough fresh fruits and vegetables, clean food. Not out of a can or frozen. Myself included! ❤thank you! I pray you continue to maintain your health.
Thank you for saying you didn’t want to be whiney-and that you sucked it up. I do that because of my family-they tend to “discuss away” my physical issues. I pray you will be healed completely and that God will bless you with great health.
Thank you so much for sharing, Michelle. I’m a 50 yr old woman from Australia and am scheduled for a colonoscopy and endoscopy in a week. I do suffer IBS with my fibromyalgia, however the symptoms are now at an extreme level. Whilst I’ve not had blood, I’m experiencing every other symptom. I can barely leave the house! My mum was diagnosed with colon cancer about 4 yrs ago so it’s time for a thorough investigation. I really appreciate you laying it all out for the rest of us and I hope you’re doing ok 💛
Megan, I will definitely keep you in my prayers, and hope nothing is seriously wrong. This is a good move, and hopefully you have a clean report as a baseline. Thank you for your kind words. May God bless you.
I applaud your courage and I thank you for being willing to share this! My biological father had stage 4 colon cancer, overcame that, and then succumbed to esophageal cancer (he was an alcoholic). Although my doctors have always told me that I'd need frequent screening, no one ever went over possible symptoms that I should watch for.
I am sorry about your bio father. It is hard, no matter what. I come from a big family on both sides. I hadn't been made aware of several relatives that uncles, and aunt, and even a first cousin, had succumbed to colon cancer until I sent messages to my scattered family about my diagnosis. It was heartening to know that I opened dialogue in my very own family. These symptoms aren't sure signs of this disease, but anything that changes is worth asking your medical team about. I'm hopeful that this will help you. Hugs to you and prayers for strength and maintaining a positive outlook.
Thank you for such a kind compliment. It's just my story - and if I can encourage anyone to get checked, pay attention to their bodies, diets, and habits, and get early detection, it is worth it. God bless you.
I just wanted to say God bless you for your courage and thankful that you are a survivor. I survived colorectal cancer starting in 2021 when I noticed blood in my stool. Had 8 rounds of chemo and 28 rounds of radiation followed by illestomy surgery and reverse iliestomy surgery and doing great today
That is such great news!!! I'm so happy the reversal worked and that you're doing well. I love stories like yours! Continued good health. Stay positive and stay strong!
You are a WARRIOR queen! Thank you so much for sharing this info, and I saw in the description that it says you are in remission? That is amazing! I hope you continue to stay in remission and I wish you good health. You are an inspiration- I am 34 years old just diagnosed with arthritis at an unusually young age, so I cannot relate to having cancer, and I know that is NOTHING compared to the battle of cancer that you have faced. But having a chronic condition at a young age has been a struggle for myself, and my arthritis started as chronic pain when I was 17 years old, and I have been trying to change my diet to mainly plant-based to help my chronic pain and arthritis, and hoping to prevent any cancers as well, since cancer runs in my family. Thank you again for sharing your story, you are amazing.
Aww, thank you! I can’t imagine having a chronic condition in my 30s. YOU are an inspiration to other young people. Taking the whole food, plant-based approach is a great way to increase your chances to have a healthy body. I am currently in remission, and working my way back to more vigorous and regular exercise. If I would have had any clue that I would be alive after five years, I would have kicked my rear end off of the couch and exercised a whole lot more to build stamina. It is never too late to make new health changes, right? Prayers for you to feel well.
I don't know what country you are in but as you are young it is unlikely to be Osteoarthritis so if you have Rheumatoid Arthritis, that is an autoimmune disorder and I believe homeopathy (popular and easily accessible in the UK and Ireland) is helpful for autoimmune problems. It looks at the underlying cause of illnesses such as autoimmune disorders which normally have a genetic component but can also be triggered by life events and lifestyle, stress etc. I am not a doctor but am a former nurse and I have had my children treated successfully by a homeopath in London.
Colon cancer took my sister in law last Ocotber as well as my oldest brother in December. I too have been very sick for a few years and getting worse, while waiting for both these procedures to be done.
I am so sorry. No matter the cause, that is a lot of loss in a short period of time. I'm sorry you've been sick. I hope you are able to get in and see a doctor so you can find out what's going on and get onto the road to recovery. God bless.
We are extremely appreciative of you for sharing your story and spreading this information. You are a true hero , by reading the comment section you have forsure saved some lives . Much love 🖤
Having had inflammatory Bowel Disease for 25 years and having just been diagnosed with the start of Duodenum cancer (that they found in time) and also polyps in my bowel. I can say this is the best vlog I have ever seen on this subject. Everyone who sees this needs to share. You are seriously going to save a lot of lives. Everything you have just said is 100% correct. I send you every good wish and good health. Thank you Alison @MK Buck. England.
Thank you for your kind words. My goodness, you've gone through a lot! Glad they found the duodenum cancer early, as well as the polyps. May God bless you forever and ever.
I hope you remain cancer free! Thank you for your advice & concern for others! May our Father in Heaven bless you & keep you healthy! Lots of love to you & all❣️ 🥰🌷🪻🌻
You are a very sweet person. I want you to be okay, I imagine everyone here does. I will be thinking of you. I also will get my doctor to take my symptoms more seriously. Thank you for sharing.
i am 36 years old and was diagnosed with acute diverticulitis in the ER this past Friday. the pain/discomfort in my descending colon started two days prior going to the ER. i am following up with a gastroenterologist this coming Thursday hoping for the best.
My mother told me recently that due to the regular 50 yrs checkup, they discovered polyps and they removed them. I was very proud of her that she finally went to the checkup. And I will get an appointment early next year, self paid, to let it check because now I know it is in my family. I started lifestylechanges recently and do more sports and moderat calorie restiction to come to a healthy weigt. I wish you the best, so much luck, gods blessings if you believe and a safe, smooth recovery. Thank you for sharing this ❤❤
I’m so sorry. It is definitely a shock, and no words will cover how we all feel. Be positive and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Ask if you can record office visits. We have found that listening a few hours (or the next day) following a doctor visit, we have been able to digest the information. Honestly, any doctor should let you record them for clear understanding. Good luck. Please keep us informed. Prayers to your brother and your whole family.
I thank you very sincerely for this video. Your honesty and calm demeanor is very helpful when talking about a serious subject like cancer. God will reward you for your willingness to speak to all of us and to educate and help us. You are an amazing lady! ❤👍
You are far too kind. Thank you for watching and for your sweet comments. I really just want people to make sure that if something doesn't seem right, that they listen to their bodies. I'm humbled by your comments. God bless.

My dear, beautifull lady.... I m so sorry to hear what you have been going through and still found courage to stand here and talk about it so transparently and straight to the point. You have a beautifull soul, that is just something that is easy to notice by looking at your eyes. I wish you a good and long life, i pray that you get cured. What i would like to add to your story is THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO TAKE SUN, AND LET THE SUN IN THE HOUSE.SUN IS LIFE! Due to SPFs nowadays we dont get any of it. Just 15 minutes a day, unprotected sun bathing does magic to the body. Bless you!
Great video!!!! I've been diagnosed with colon cancer within the last two weeks. CT scan was clear - no spread. I have my first oncology appointment in a few days, and I also have an appointment with a colorectal surgeon the day after. My symptoms were almost identical to yours, minus the bleeding. I've had no bleeding whatsoever. Boy, could I identify with needing to be close to a bathroom at all times!!!!
I’m sorry to hear that you were diagnosed, but SUPER happy that you’re moving forward. I would love it if you stay in touch. I sense that you have an up-beat and positive frame of mind. That is 99% of the secret to successfully fighting this. Prayers and blessings!
@, my heart, prayers and positive vibes are all going to be with you tomorrow and Friday. Ask if you can record what they say, so you can listen to it (again) later in a more relaxed setting. You’ll kick this in the hind end!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I have been experiencing bowel and tummy issues. I have been to my doctor and was referred to a specialist at my local hospital. I now have an appointment for a colonoscopy on 1st June. I was also diagnosed with IBS a few years ago. I live in Scotland where waiting times for tests is usually quick ❤
Anagela, good luck! I'll be praying for you! Please let us know how everything turns out. God bless, and I hope all comes back clean and wonderful...and I hope your medical team can get to the bottom of your issues.
@@angelascott2475 that is absolutely wonderful! I hope they did find a way that will alleviate your discomfort, though. I’m so happy for your clear colonoscopy!!!
I lost my Mom to colon cancer back in 2017, she never spoke of symptoms but I'm sure she had them but she was the type to ignore whatever ailed, I was blessed to have her for 4 years from her initial diagnosis and I believe she was stage 3 , she fought the good fight and I miss her dearly! Hoping your video will help people get checked out early and not ignore the warning signs!🙏😓
I'm so sorry you lost your mom. I'm glad you have good memories of her, and I hope this message gets others motivated to pay attention and seek early help, if needed.
Thank you so much. I credit my parents for not hiding natural bodily processes unapologetically when I grew up. After seeing relatives and friends die as the years progressed, I felt the need to have open, if uncomfortable, conversations with family and friends. Why would we suffer in silence because of "embarrassing" conversations about what is really happening? No one who has lost a loved one will ever tell you that they were happy the loved one didn't feel comfortable talking about these things.
Oh, I am SO sorry. I have one brother. I cannot imagine losing him. Siblings are the best friends we'll ever have. May God bless you with happy memories of good times that you spent with your sister.
big valley living. Since you were a smoker, please discuss with your doctor when you should get a cat scan to ensure you do not have lung cancer. Lung cancer doesn’t really show up until it’s in an advanced stage. I heard public ads on the radio saying the CDC recommends this if either you smoke or were a former smoker. Congratulations on taking a more healthy approach and lif style.
Thank you, Angela. I've always had an outspoken nature, and I hate to see unnecessary suffering. Apparently, this is why God chose me to have this experience. Thank you for supporting my effort! You are the best. Hugs and LOTS of love.
Thank you. Since your mother had the cancer, I highly encourage you to talk to your doctor and see if you can get a colonoscopy. If for no other reason, for a clean report and baseline.
Thank you so much for this video it helped me tremendously. I myself have done a colorguard test and it came back positive. And I have an appointment to go get a colonoscopy and I’m just praying that it is not cancer. I have so many issues with my bowels I have IBS I have ulcerative colitis. And I’m hoping that it’s just that. I’ll pray for you please pray for me and thank you again for your time to help those out they’re going through the same issue as you God bless you.
Please consider taking organic whole psyllium after (very hopefully ) getting an all clear and that it’s something very minor if it does turn out to be anything .
Thank you for your kind words. I'm so sorry about all of your issues. I will pray that you do not have any cancer present. Ever. Please let us know how your test turns out. Praying for you. God Bless.
@BigValleyLiving Thank you! I've lost so many to different forms of cancer and they were young. 2 brain cancer, 1 colon, 2 breast cancer, 1 throat. Something is causing all these cancers. 😢 I'm praying for you really hard. 🙏
I wish I could stop smoking. I have tried everything but I can’t bc I get panic attacks if I don’t smoke. God bless you sweetheart and may you be completely healed forever 🙏🙏
I have a very close friend who has recently been dealing with nearly constant diarrhea...to the point that she is nearly homebound. This has been going on for over 3 wks. When she mentioned it to her family Dr., this was his advise. "Well, just take imodium, and when you have diarrhea, just squeeze your butt cheeks." She left that appointment with diarrhea literally running down her legs. Thankfully, she is scheduled for a colonoscopy this Wednesday. She became so dehydrated a week ago that she had to go to the emergency room. The overnight stay was nearly as frustrating. The enterologist who saw her, told her that they would probably never know what had been the cause of the constant diarrhea. He ordered no tests...nothing.
Oh, boy. Sounds like your friend needs to start “doctor shopping.” I will pray that she a) has a clean colonoscopy, b) feels better soon, and c) finds a doctor who respects the fact that your friend is there for help - and more importantly, your friend is the CUSTOMER. Please let me know how she does.
Meti Musil will stop your diarrhea, I had the same problem if I dared to pass a little gas , I’d have a shit stain. My doctor recommended it, said he takes every night. I use it every night forever.
No way. That's a medical malpractice case if you're literally unable to control your bowels at the doctors office and they send you away without tests. How can they do that?
You're welcome. I know what you mean...it is definitely an uncomfortable conversation. I do appreciate my parents' candor while I grew up. We didn't have any crude conversations, but we also did not hide any facts about what was happening when one of us or any family members were ill. They removed the taboo in favor of honesty.
Thank you for your frank and sincere message to us: Pay attention. When something does not seem right, it's likely not. I'm going in for a second colonoscopy in three weeks, the first at age 50 and the second at age 65. I begged my Primary Care Physician to schedule one at age 60, as I have family history of polyps, and one relative had cancerous polyps and died of it and other related cancers. I so appreciate that you care so much that you selflessly reach out so others don't have to suffer as you have and probably are now. I am heeding your advice. Though I eat primarily a plant based diet, don't smoke, rarely drink alcohol, I do live a sedentary life without little or no movement other than house cleaning and small amounts of veggie gardening. I commit to that 30 minute walk you just referenced in your video each day. I look forward to listening to your other videos with more specifics about you and your experience with colorectal cancer.
I'm so thankful for your kind comments. It is kind of strange how some have horrible habits with no negative effects and others who lead a mostly healthy lifestyle can be negatively affected. The walking is hard to fit into a busy lifestyle, but you're doing the right thing by taking walks. It has been hot where I live, and I backed off. I immediately feel it when the activity level drops. I'm getting ready to share some healthier food choices that I've been implementing, as well as some fun recipes to get more color and nutrients into our bodies using food as medicine. I'm not a doctor, but there is a lot of research worth listening to and implementing. Wouldn't it be wonderful if someday, cancer is a rare disease? Prayers that you receive a clean bill of health. Please let me know how it turns out.
You’re very welcome. Thank you for watching. Perhaps this conversation will help you gain insight to things that some of us older folks have seen and done - which, in turn, might help you to make good choices. God bless.
Thank you for making this video, I have had problems with my stomach for a while, I’m doing everything you say to do apart from the walking and getting active, I’m starting tonight with a 30 min walk, Thank you.
I guess everyone is different. My sister died with colon cancer after being in so much pain for over a year. She never got diarrhea. She complained that she needed to go but it wouldn’t come out. Her husband took her to the ER at every hospital he could find but all they did was dope her up and send her home. I could tell you the most horrible death that she went through but I will spare you on this one
The Doctors let her Down. She had no insurance back in the 90 s. They still don’t care. Suck your insurance and get rich is all they care about anymore. I’m 72. Lived a long life. Seen it all. I loved my Doctors back in the day. They are all dead now The good doctors that really cared are gone now.
I'm so sorry, because the opposite of what I experienced is also a warning sign. More than that, I'm terribly sad that none of the doctors looked further into her problem and noted the repeated visits. I hope YOU are getting checked. I begged my brother to get checked, and he did. Thankfully, he was (and still is) very healthy. Prayers and hugs to you and your family. I'm so terribly sorry for your loss.
Quitting smoking masked a lot of symptoms for me. I put all of the changes down to constipation due to quitting. Still waiting for tests to determine if it is cancer and hoping for the best but not blindly ignoring the strong possibility.
Please keep us posted. I sure hope you are OK. And I am REALLY glad you quit smoking. That is a huge step. God bless, and I hope you have a healthy prognosis.
Thanks so much for the video. Ive been trying to quit smoking and this really resignated with me. Ive had bowel issues for years too. Im so glad I watched your video. Bless you my dear for spreading your message ❤
Thanks. Very informative.
I absolutely agree. Ty for sharing your story🙏🏻🌷

So sorry for your loss

It is criminal what they are allowed to put in our food!
Don't get me started...I had to realize that to begin taking things more into my own hands.
Would you all like to see videos addressing healthy alternatives and what other additives other countries do NOT allow from the US?
Oh and our water is poison too 😢

I just lost my brother from colon cancer, he was 48. Diagnosed stage 4 at age 46. No symptoms except a bit of fatigue, until he started pooping blood. He was very fit, healthy, didn’t smoke or drink.
I am so sorry to hear that. 48 is way too young. People are being diagnosed at younger ages all the time. Make sure you get checked regularly and let your doctor know a sibling had this cancer. It's very important that your doctors are aware.
My worst fear. I was told to do the fecal ocult bleeding test, it can save lives. It only costs 5 eur here in Serbia.
Very sorry to read . 💔
My heart goes out to you and your loved ones. I am so sorry for your loss! 💚
Look into a holistic medical practitioner and ask about black seed oil and castor oil in addition to getting immunity supplements
what did u found out after got tested????? because i also have same symptoms past 1 year...do reply please

I can ask, I hope you recover, what are the symptoms?

Good explanation!
I also had colon cancer age 20 had all the same symptoms same as you and when I went to the bathroom it was very painful would not wish the pain not even on my worst enemy age 30 now and well thanks to God
Glad to hear it. All the best 👍
Do you had Red blood in stool?
Glad you're still here 🤛
May I ask what stage were you at age 20?
Yes a lot of blood
Are you taking minerals, sea moss, iron
I'm not a doctor, i think iron is important and minerals
Not sea moss, but vitamin B of all types, vitamin C, and mushroom powders.
I couldn't have said it better. Thank you and may God bless you and your family. Your mother is surely shining her love down on you from Heaven.

And you weren't yet 50
I hope I didn't come across as being judgemental. I certainly would have responded the same as you with the earlier symptoms. They did genetic testing on me too and they don't believe it's genetic, just bad luck. My family is very aware and staying alert.
Agreed! The candy idea was brilliant.
God bless you, and I pray you have been completely healed of cancer!

I cant even listen to this without crying. I had 3 bowel resections in 4 years all 3 times i had emergency surgery due to perforation. Im struggling so bad
I'm so sorry you've had all of that to deal with. It is truly a lot.❤
🙏🏾🫶🏾🌻
I’m so sorry. It sounds like you are in pain. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
You have support. I will pray for you.
My mom died of the disease
This lady was fantastic in this video. Hope she's doing well and loving life!
Thank you. I am!
Thank you my friend! I am seeing a new gastroenterologist on Tuesday 3 days away. Chronic diarrhea for a few months now. I’m 64 and yes, I am nervous . You gave me great advice but best of all you took away my loneliness ! ❤
How are you now
I think a LOT of cancer patients get to a more advanced stage because of how uncomfortable we might feel about discussing our personal personal issues with even our healthcare providers.
No, it's because Drs don't take anyone seriously
@@sj9410. It seems like they’re unwilling to have a multitude of false alarms to catch people here and there. They’d rather let everyone keep going and risking it.
My husband too is like that, now he is recovering now ...To God be the Glory
I’m happy to hear your husband is recovering. May God bless him with a healthy future, and you with his company for many years to come.
Hope you are ok 🙏
Hope you are ok
Are you ok honey
I hope you are OK. So sorry for the delayed response to your comment. I do hope everything is alright.
Where is the pain usually located?
Go get looked at.
Prayers coming your way🙏
That could be Irriitable bowel. They have the exact same symptoms
Lost my brother-in-law to this. Passed on his 51st birthday. Thanks for posting.
Any new updates?
You are an Angel for taking the time, and allowing yourself to be so vulnerable, in order to keep others informed. I am glad to see you doing so well. Continued good health to you - thank you ☺️
Thank you, Jennifer! Every person who is encouraged to go "make sure" nothing is wrong, who might have felt silly by doing so, then either finds out they're OK (WIN!!!) or need treatment (early) is worth it. I'm certainly not alone in the fight. I appreciate you watching and supporting my message!
THANK YOU....ALSO A CANCER SURVIVOR........THIS MESSAGE IS GREAT
Thank you, and YAY! 🥰🎉🥰🙏🏼🙏🏼
How are you today? I hope you are well
You are a strong woman and I want to take out time to appreciate you for making this video. i tell you this is the best video on TH-cam about this topic. Very detailed. I pray that you receive full recovery from this sickness.
Agreed!!!! I appreciate the visual refers well.
Congratulations for your courage to give this excellent lecture. May you stay fully recovered. God bless you and everyone who listens to this talk.
I don't know why YT recommended your channel to me, but I'm glad it did. Both of my grandparents on my dad's side died from colon cancer...
Sorry to hear that.
Im so sorry you lost your best friend May she R.I.P. 🙏
Sorry to hear this. Prayers.
Bless u I’m waiting to hear scarey they tell me all sorts but I no for a fact what I have just list my sister 3 weeks ago to the same xx☘️☘️
@@CaseyEckert-g5k thank you so much!❤️
@BigValleyLiving thank you very much!❤️
I'm a Nurse Practitioner and I really liked the visuals. Good information!
Thank you. It is hard to explain. I appreciate your professional vote of confidence!!!
I’m sorry your family explains away. Sounds like your symptoms are real…it is frustrating to have “silent” symptoms that you hide as well as you can.
Go see if you can get
Cholestyramine
Thank you for taking the time to help other people at risk of colon cancer. ❤
Thank you so much to care enough about other people to share your story. Your a blessing.
After seeing this video i feel like give you a hug. Thank you so much!
My colonoscopy is next week and i am very scared 😔
You got this!
This is one of the most excellent videos I’ve seen about colon cancer.
Thank you.
I pray you’re doing well.❤
Thank you for such a kind compliment.
Much love 🖤
You are very articulate in explaining your experience. Thank for sharing. God bless you. Grammy from Texas
Thank you so much. Hoping this message encourages those who are scared or nervous to make sure they check up on it.
Thank you so much, I appreciate it.
i am 36 years old and was diagnosed with acute diverticulitis in the ER this past Friday. the pain/discomfort in my descending colon started two days prior going to the ER. i am following up with a gastroenterologist this coming Thursday hoping for the best.
Such charming, tasteful way to demonstrate an awkward topic. I hope you’re well and stay well!
Thank you. Tried to find a subtle, yet relatable way to share…I appreciate your comment!
Thank you for sharing this
❤❤
Thank you for being blunt and informative. I hope you save a million lives
I hope so too
Thank you for your honest story and delicate, frankness. I know you are making a difference for many.
Thank you so much. I hope so. I’d love to see the numbers decrease over the years. I truly believe it is possible!
My brother just diagnosed today stage 4. Thats what brought me here. God bless, thank you for your video. Im trying to stay positive. Just in shock.
God bless.
Docters don’t listen it’s 3 years I’ve been in and out of docters. They think it’s in your head 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 bless you sweet heart My husband is dying of cancer I’m so tuerd and sad

I am so Sorry for You and Your husband Pain! GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP UOU NOW AND ALWAYS, AMEN!!!
Bless you!
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your journey and absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Your video will help many people and we're all glad you're in remission.
Thank you so much! You're so kind.
@BigValleyLiving I will definitely stay in touch. First oncologist appt tomorrow 👍 Colorectal surgeon the day after.
Thank you ❤
Results of my test came back clear
Good job! Thank you. You took a difficult conversation and made it seem doable. That is a first step.
Thank you so much. My sister died from colorectal cancer in 2015. She was 63. It was devastating.
Oh, I am SO sorry. I have one brother. I cannot imagine losing him. Siblings are the best friends we'll ever have. May God bless you with happy memories of good times that you spent with your sister.
Thank you for your honesty about your cancer. Playing for you to be healed
big valley living.
Great video Michelle! Way to talk about the things that we don’t want to talk about, but need to !
Thank you, Angela. I've always had an outspoken nature, and I hate to see unnecessary suffering. Apparently, this is why God chose me to have this experience. Thank you for supporting my effort! You are the best. Hugs and LOTS of love.
I agree, be more active. Even a 20 minute walk everyday or several times per week is good. Thanks for sharing this information, it can save lives!
Poor things! God bless you! I wish you the best and many more years and cancer free!!
Everyone should see a doctor, not always cancer and they do brush it off.
Thank you for getting the word out, and sharing your experience ❤ Be well!
You’re welcome, and thank you so much for watching. I’d love to see the numbers reverse and go back in a downward direction. 💕🙏🏼💕
Thanks for this really important message! I'm sure you have helped many people with this. Hope you are doing well now.
I am having problems thank God for her having a place to discuss this uncomfortable topic. Thank you ❤
Thank you. Since your mother had the cancer, I highly encourage you to talk to your doctor and see if you can get a colonoscopy. If for no other reason, for a clean report and baseline.
Very brave and articulate lady - excellent and concise message she puts out
Thank you so much for this video it helped me tremendously.
God Bless.
My gastroenterologist won't order me cologuard, she said there's too many false negatives and false positives.
I lost my sister to it. Thank you for sharing. Praying for you 🙏 ❤️
I’m so sorry. I know I am the patient, but I firmly believe that our loved ones suffer the brunt of the disease and treatment. May God bless you.
Nicotine patches along with nicotine gum for the first couple of weeks if needed
This is so scary. Why are some doctors like this??
Meti Musil will stop your diarrhea, I had the same problem if I dared to pass a little gas , I’d have a shit stain. My doctor recommended it, said he takes every night. I use it every night forever.
Very well done, I hope a lot more people see your post and pay attention ‼️thank you ‼️‼️
No way. That's a medical malpractice case if you're literally unable to control your bowels at the doctors office and they send you away without tests. How can they do that?
Thank you for sharing! I know this topic is not one people like to talk about.
As a teenager thank you for sharing this ❤
You’re very welcome.
Very courageous of you to share your story. I really hope you’re doing well and that you make a recovery 🙏🏼
Thank you so much I am facing this now.i hope alot of people listen to you.
I could imagine and all they probably gave her was morphine for pain which is no life just doped her up my condolence to your family
I wanted to wish you well and Thank’ for telling everyone your experience and being so honest. Now I’m wiser because of you and you caring for others.
