I liked the larger hotspot on the Catapult Pro and of I didn't already own the L21B I'd still on the fence on whether there's enough of a big difference to purchase it. I almost bought the Thrunite but in the end the L21b won out because of the price difference. I ordered mine off of Amazon instead of from China directly mostly because if I had problems Amazon would take care of it. It's worth a few extra bucks just for that plus it's easier and probably a little safer as well. It still had to come from China so it took around 2-3 weeks to get here. It looks a lot bigger in the videos so I was pleasantly surprised to see how small it really is in real life. That was a good comparison. I'm still happy that I got the Convoy even though the Trufire is a little brighter and smaller. I wanna get the L21B with the green led it seems like it could be useful someday.
I don't bother with Thrunite or Olight or any of the big name brands. I prefer Convoy, Sofirn, Haikelite, Nightwatch and the budget brands. Not saying i wouldn't buy a more expensive light if they have something different I'm looking for. I have some Emisar and Wuben but yeah why spend more for something you can get in the budget brand. As long as theyre high quality budget that good enough for me.
Idk if i just got unlucky with my catapult pro or if thrunite just buys the worst tint bins they can in every light because theyre cheaper, but my catapult pro has, based on what the opple is saying, can only be the absolute worst tint bin the sft70 can possibly comes in. The greenest possible tint bin in the lowest of the flux bins. How thats even possible idk. Just absolute bottom of the barrel emitter. Id like to see an actually decent sft70 bin
The catapult pro is an underrated bad boy. Definitely worth the price.

Catapult pro does cost more, but the onboard charging, included battery, and side switch instead of tail switch absolutely seals the deal for me.

I have both, I use the L21 mostly, not much of a difference between the two with performance and my L21 runs cooler

Sorry to hear that my friend, definitely not good if you are not happy with the tint, have you reached out to them and exchange it or refund.
