I'm very glad I saw this and did NOT buy the TDO1C. In my opinion, the hot spot is too tight ( as you mentioned compared to the TS30s Pro), too bright, and is drowning out the object you are shining it on within 100 meters. Also the convoy had much more useable spill and was even brighter at 200 meters. Even the TS11 had more useable spill. Great Video by the way and thank you. I LIKED it and subscribed.
Excellent review as always. If I were in the market for a thrower, I know what to go for. As it is, I already have the TS11, I have waited even after TS30SPro, the new TD01 is definitely a dedicated thrower. TS30SPro have more power bigger hotspot and much useable spill than TD01, however at a more premium package. IMHO, the premium TS30SPro gets me tingling as its profile is much nicer and useable spill. In all practicality, the ugly ring wont be noticeable, plus you got a very tight hotspot which is clear and bright best for spotting. 👍
Only two bad things about this light, it cannot hold turbo for a very long is the first thing, second thing they advertise it as 2200 lm, however the light is only capable of 1500 lm, you would think with the 21700 battery driving it that it would do it’s claimed 2200 but no I watched a guy try 3 different batteries, besides the one that comes with it and the most that was able to be gotten out of it was 1600 lm for about 3 seconds before it dropped off to the high 1500’s in its luminosity 😕 outside of that it’s a nice flashlight, good review
Hello sir. I can't agree more sir. But what are quite disappointing for me is the ring in the beam and the tailcap switch which doesn't work properly like Sofirn C8L. I tried C8L's tailcap Tailcap switch with TD01. It fit perfectly but it still couldn't get strobe more easily. I like it, very good Thrower. Got one about 2 months and the finish is Black Shiny and a few days ago got another one and this one has Black Matte finish, just like Sofirn SF26, i like the matte finish, has more grip. Amazing Light ✌️✌️🔦🔦

The long awaited td01. Great video. That strobe is quite a bummer. Hope wurkkos makes it more easier. I wish you can put 5050 gasket in ts11 & bypass the springs to see how it goes against td01
They have made a very beautiful beam shape. I have seen a comparison to the Acebeam L19 with SFT40, the Acebeam throws farther, but the Wurkkos beam has a nicer looking spot. I think this one makes a good gift for my uncle who likes spotlights

Hello sir. You need to consider flashlight design. A big one with lots of fins, big smooth reflector can throw well. Brightness will definitely drop, if it gets hot. So efficient driver, the design of the flashlight play an important role. I think Convoy flashlight is good and not expensive. It can also maintain high brightness constantly.
