Great vid Chris. Steve Jordan is from a bygone era but in a good way. A no nonsense serious workshop with the owner always in a very serious mood. No laughing around here please. The real asset is Queen Charlotte in ‘the shop’ who knows more about Busas and bikes than all of us put together. Her knowledge is mind blowing.
normally wouldn't watch something like this for more than a minute or so, just quickly skipping through; but with this guy my attention is undivided. thanks boss, keep it up
Top vid Chris! The mid range on the gen 3 is already great so I'd luv to see how this feels difference wise. Let's hope it can get those 1/4 mile times down into the high 9s! 🤞
Small world! Had my gsxr tuned at Steve's in the past and also all my bikes suspensions set there. Excellent garage but a bit far from London. Good to see him again.
Car wow amazing Turbo S is incredibly quick on the take off but after that initial take off the game is always over with a standard 1000cc road bike, it’s great viewing. Those bikes are flipping fast. Interesting to see how the Busa runs without the strangled cans
Dyno tuning is one thing, but doing that extra hard work of data-logging out in the real road and track environment to apply even more precision to the ECU maps, that's where subtle things like throttle on/off and rider control comes into play. It's expensive and time consuming, but there are some tuners who buy specific models as project bikes to develop and hone them that much further.
Maybe it’s not possible with bikes but with my car tunes I can run my own logs (using my laptop/phone) and then send the files to a tuner who can then remotely amend the maps based on the logs. I then reflash the ecu using my laptop.
I guess Carwow put the wrong drag race up this morning? I was pumped up to see you and the M1000RR. Still always love a Bike World upload! Cheers Chris 👍
Hi Chris , if your aiming the bike for drag racing maybe check out brocks performance clutch upgrade and swing arm extension, they got a gen 2 to run in the 8’s with bolt on mods
I own both bikes. My Busa is stock but the ZH2 is running a full race exhaust and has been dyno tuned. For outright speed and acceleration the ZH2 is noticeably quicker and snappier. It's a more "fun" bike. If you like the idea of a large naturally aspirated engine and the wave of power that it delivers then Busa is an excellent choice.
There is a lot to do on that airbox. The Atm drops down from 99.0 to 93.0 @11K. Thats a huge vacum in the airbox. That much drop at only 75% TPS will translate a tot more once you open up to 100%
Chris, what was the reason you chose the Akrapovic system over a full titanium system like the Brock’s? I am considering a new system for my Hayabusa and would love to hear your opinion.
Interesting just fiddling with ecu stuff. Agree with top end horsepower. Unless your racing with constant flirting with redline top end horsepower useless. Midrange is where it’s at. That is why I love my Super Duke. All the torque and horsepower all below 9500 streetable rpm.
Not sure if it's because you're Dyno on a different machine, but you're showing 10 horsepower more than ones I'm seeing in the US. Also Gen 2 and gen 3 dyno almost exact same numbers stock vs stock, and with identical modifications. 2017 and newer GSXR 1000r is still your best platform for going fast and 8th and quarter.
JHChristmas you could spend $240 or less go +7 gear it down using sprockets ... I can't imagine the acceleration of a Busa geared down ...so over geared.. what's the point being able to break 170,-180mph .. Gearing a bike down gives to the feeling, 'feeling' of added HP.. Try -1 up front countershaft, then add a few to the rear....no secret squirrel stuff here..but I'm always befuddled why owners refuse to lighten and gear their 190HP 190mph superbikes, Supersport Busa, Zx14 etc down...lighter weight, scary fast acceleration....for around a couple hundred bucks !!!

It's about 20 miles....what ya talking about!!!
Seems worth it for what should be infrequent trips?
Nice one Chris, love your stuff mate. Hopefully give Mat @ carwow a few 2nd prizes. All the best and much respect from West Oz.
🙏❤️ Love from Scotland ❤️🙏
keep it up Chris, see you at the Car Wow drag test with those upgrades

Wow, 193 at the wheels. I did not expect that much. Good job.

Yep, we got the message really late, sorry!
@@BikeWorldTVshow Next Saturday 🤞 it will liven my boring Saturday at work! 👍
@@boostaholic7116 Confirmed for next Saturday
Such a great series 👏🏼😎
I'm looking forward to you testing your enhanced steed too 🙂 The weight loss and power gain have to be worth 2 or 3 tenths in the quarter......
Can’t wait to see Chris at the airstrip giving it the beans!

AWESOME VIDEO AMAZING FANTASTIC ! ! ! ! ! !
Would u pick this or a zh2 naked for all arounder??

What did it put out original on the dyno?

Did I not see 200hp flash for a second during the dyno run?
We weren’t filming in the dyno the whole time.
Steve Jordan knows his stuff, just a shame he's a miserable bugger...🤣🤣🤣
They tuned my MT-10. Gained 5hp peak but man it was SOOO much more responsive, smooth and faster in the mid range!
I LOVE HAYABUSA
I'm trying to find a merch store for Bike World - is that t-shirt available anywhere?
It’s coming soon
Any particular reason for choosing akrapovic exhaust system
they're very well made and always give better power than stock.

Its the same power i have on my stock 2014 zzr;-) Looking forward to the next drag races though
Emissions, bro
👌👏👏👏😍🏍🏍🏍
Matt W will be slobbering over what to line up now.
He’s already been on the phone!
He jumps everytime
And Stuart says Matt didn't jumped the start 🤣🤣
Now let's see even if he jumps he's gonna get gapped
I know what the next car wow episode is now hehe 😄
New Carwow vid with the upgrades then?
Oh yes!
Everytime I've always seen a dyno they're always off by a certain amount of hp and torque.

WHERE ARE THE DYNO CHARTS? 😤
No numbers? No thumbsup
We didn’t want to do a technical vid, more about getting it unlocked and riding it.
