There's something about a 1,441cc Stroker motor that hits like an anvil when you twist the throttle!

Very true. I owned a 04 zx10 and now own an 01 zx9r and zx7r. All these bikes are so frickin raw compared to the current 10r line up. At least they have the h2, still should not have butchered the mighty 10r though.
We all need to thank Suzuki so much for not making the Hayabusa into a rough running flat plane crankshaft engine. The sound of the Hayabusa is glassy smooth and turbine-like, with a beautiful gear whine. Suzuki is one of the only companies that didn't ruin their own engine by switching to a flat plane crank, which so many manufacturers have done. Giving people a smoother, more refined version of the same engine, is just gold. When you hear a 2nd Gen first start up, it's terrifying. I can't imagine how good the 3rd Gen sounds in person, because you can hear the beautiful inline 4 turbine whine through the video.

Great job, Suzuki! Thanks for keeping the analog dials! Engine design in closer tolerances reducing vibrations and transmission design's has always been strong point with Suzuki bikes. But, braking tech in hill hold is too much tech in my humble opinion and the price is high. I've been riding for 40yrs and absolutely luv riding...so glad your still making this bike!

Oh and after you swap the exhaust on this you're illegal in any place which tests emissions since you're removing cats even in the rear cans. On top of that this has combustion chambers and cams set for low/mid range efficiency so its not going to make as much power as the old bike on a pipe anyway.

Once Suzi and Kawa designed very nice motorbikes. Since at least 20 years this has changed dramatically, but it seems to work for them. Amazing!
I liked that they redesigned the mufflers.I hated the older mufflers.
