      @@reshzed4874 The controller does not use such speed from the USB port which you can check on the PC and the data rate is under 400Mb/s so a typical USB 2.1 is more than enough for it, yet the latency was the same from USB 3.2 on the PC

    Hi man, first of all great video! Very effective way of measering. But for static reasons you need atleast 8 data points. Preferbly even 10. And within these small numbers that could result in a few milliseconds more or less on the final number.

    I’ve been somewhat seriously testing both controllers on Uncharted 4 Multiplayer and the response time and latency seem to virtually be the same on the basic buttons, around 23 ms for both. The Edge has the advantage with the trigger stops and deadzones but a huge downside for me is that the control sticks for the edge seem to be less stable(more sensitive) and feel more flimsy. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Hi Daniel!
    I read that a USB Type-C to Type-C cable reduces the input delay of the DualSense even more, compared to a USB Type-A to Type-C cable. Is this true? Can you do some tests?

      Hi, thanks, as far as I can test (down to 1 ms) both are under 1 ms of idle delay, so I can't be sure if one is faster, but if you feel it is, so it might be! my tools currently can go down to 1ms measurement but from there it becomes unreliable.

I don’t want to waste money on the edge if the normal dual sense controller and the edge both have the same input delay or is the Edge faster? One question - I’ve always preferred USB connection but I’m wondering, does it make any difference if I use my DualSense controllers on USB connection but *without* actually being connected with a USB cable (basically wirelessly using the controller but on USB connection) or does the controllers have to be on USB connection *and* be directly connected to the console with USB to get the benefits of reduced input delay?

      Hi thanks, if you don't select Use USB Cable on Console, it will use Bluetooth, and there will not be any changes, the delay of Bluetooth is also pretty much low, only the idle delay was lower usually, based on the game, I'd also recommend the front USB-C Port or back ports.

    Does the input lag increase if you have a headset plugged into the aux port of the controller? Is it better to use a usb headset or it doesn't matter?
    Also can we use the usb c port on the ps5 to connect the controller or is it better to use the usb a port on the ps5? Thanks

      Hi, I don't have this game yet, I'd recommend to try this new EQ and adjust Low/bass a little to get what you like: th-cam.com/video/zeL9AMu6b0M/w-d-xo.html

    I have Elgato HD60X capture card, does the capture card really cause input delay for the controller?

    • @DanielZH
      @DanielZH  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not for the controller, I was recording the screen that's why I considered it when testing

    So for apex is there input delay very decreases with this controller like is it even worth the 200 on ps5 for apex

      Hi, Apex now supports 120Hz on PS5, I haven't made input lag tests to confirm, but in other 120Hz games, the difference is typically less than 3ms, in my opinion, it's not worth $200 for 1-3ms lower input lag.

    Thank you for your test, but I want to know why the result I got on other TH-cam channels is that dualsense is different from other controllers, its Bluetooth input lag is smaller than wired connection, and you and this video blogger get two very different results.th-cam.com/video/ahsO5bhBUtk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kQsCK6K9IGFiWzlg
