    Update: 🔴2024 Test in 10 Games: th-cam.com/video/hSgz8o_aS5Q/w-d-xo.html
    The method I used to measure delay wasn't done properly.
    Bluetooth is Faster on DualSense as long as the game request over 250Hz polling rate.
    For Edge, USB is faster in all cases, if you like to see updated videos for different games, check this playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLfzrQ3H5ECSbtNfbSDgDDP4Y9zLuwDvUw.html

    • @DanielZH
      @DanielZH  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, it actually uses 2.4GHz, and the polling rate goes up to 1000Hz on BT, the issue ain't actually about the connection, but the priority in games, this video isn't correct though, in the latest videos I tested it Vs. Edge for many games and in 60Hz mode DualSense typically has lower delay but in 120Hz Edge, in some games, USB is faster and in some other BT, it all depends on the game, the fastest one I've ever tested is Rainbow six with Vsync off in 120Hz mode.

  • @SC_46
    @SC_46 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I'll probably have a couple of questions...
    Firstly, how come your counting the capture cards delay? Doesn't that not affect you? Shouldnt you see the image before your streamers see the image? I dont have a capture card yet so im trying to understand.
    Because if you have to run the PS5 through the capture card before you see the image that means you'll always be at a 7ms disadvantage over your competition, that's a horrible idea if you want to compete online.

    • @DanielZH
      @DanielZH  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, this video was not very correct as in that time I didn't consider everything, now my latest videos are being captured at the highest accurate values with upgraded tools, forget this video and here's what I use right now:
      My capture card delay is 31ms in all modes with VRR On/Off and I remove that from final results
      and we use the capture card just to compare the picture to controller delay, typically people shouldn't play on PC picture that comes from capture card, but the output that goes to monitor and in my case for Elgato capture cards that's under 0.1ms.

      Hi, are you sure that the port on your PC was max 5V? nowadays we have fast charging ports that can hurt the controller, if you use a USB 2.0 you'll be safer overall, I've been using both with PC and cable for over 6 months and it was fine, I sometimes let the battery dry by using it on PS5 or PC Bluetooth adapter.

      Thanks, I'll look into it and see if I have the tools to test that, it can be done by controller too, first we map the input, and we'll check the delay of controller in various resolutions, as we already know that for example in 4K it's 0.5ms and + 7ms capture card, so it could be possible to do.

    Not coming here to hate I came here to either have my theory proven or debunked. I’ve watched your vids tried it out, and when I have my controller connected via usb my latency is 42-45 on average when I use Bluetooth I get 20-22. So is latency just completely different than input lag or am I just misunderstanding the whole concept? Would love some feedback hope everyone who sees this has a great day/night😊
