That was funny. I don't understand how no one noticed that Ellie's hands were all covered in blood, infected blood, while she was trying to stitch up Joel's wounds, without washing her hands or use alcohol.
Fraktur Obsession Yeah, now that we're all worried about Dina being infected I brought this point up. It might not have been noticed by the devs, but ND is pretty good at foreshadowing. I don't think she can spread it.

I don't understand why peoples get pissed off when games they love get sinned. The last of us is easily one of the best game I've ever played yet I enjoyed this episode and agree with pretty much everything he said. Someone clearly have to be naive to believe that their favorite movie/game/book ect is perfect. Those are entertainments, this isn't real life. Of course they're full of things that doesn't make sense or are cliche...
GenLiu I think it's that a lot of the sins aren't correct, watch everything wrong with everything wrong with The Last of Us, pointing out the vast amount of inaccuracies with the 'sins' he tries to point out.
I get your point and you're not wrong but at the same time I doubt Dartigan takes what is doing THAT seriously and I suspect a lot of the sins he mentioned to be here just for the sake of entertainment. I mean, the main concept remains to point out what's wrong with the game's plot but I think peoples make too much of a deal of something that probably shouldn't. It's just my opinion of course. Also, I watched the video you linked (thx about that btw) and to be fair, I don't agree with everything they said either. It's all matter of point of view and what degree of tolerance you allow for an entertainment. But again, nothing worth being shocked by imo.

It really isn't. Not in my game, and I doubt that Sony's board of directors have leaned on Naughty Dog to sort that oversight out. But post a video and surprise us. She could have stuck it in her backpack (fanwanked).
As a fanboy of the Last of Us........ ya this is pretty funny. I love the nitpickiness of this dude. It's funny. Some of them reasonable (like when Marlene not hearing the conversation Joel and Tess have after killing Robert), some of them pointless, but almost if them funny. Still the best game created but it's still funny to watch someone (kinda) poke at it.
Add a sin for each melee weapon in this game that is good for only a few uses. Like an axe or crowbar that is no good after four uses for example. I cannot believe the uploader didn't mention that.
coondogtheman1234 Its an Insta-kill though. Comparatively, a pipe has 7-8. It takes a 1 hit run up to kill someone instantly, but normally its 3-4. They're faaar more useful.
Yeah but it's a freakin pipe, made of metal it should last longer than maybe five times. Dying light has this same issue. It's like they are adding more challenge to the game. They should put an option to turn that on or off.
coondogtheman1234 "It's like they're adding challenge into the game" gee i wonder. but looking at it from a logical standpoint, a 40 year old rusted metal pipe would break easily when being smashed against bone repeatedly. Same for Dying Light. It also makes sense for the Insta-kill limited use weapons to be bladed, as you can visibly see the handle fall apart and blade break after using it and wearing down the bolts, adhesive, etc
Um, actually, it doesn't take days for the infection to turn you, in the game, its stated that when it started, it took weeks, then days, then hours. Probably all the doctors dying and lack of antibiotics, it doesn't take long to turn.
Brian Ngo Just because something is trying to be funny doesn't mean it's above being criticized for being wrong. And it's ironic you'd call me a fanboy. A simple harmless opinion doesn't make me or anyone else a fanboy. But you randomly defending the video over something innocuous? Calling my opinion an attack? Oh, I can surely say that's fanboy behavior.
***** Actually I presumed you were a fanboy because most criticism on "Sins" videos are usually on ones done for The Last of Us. Oh, and no, it's not truly harmless, because if it was, it would be in the same nature of "Sins" videos; meaning nothing by what it says. Which it quite obviously isn't considering you just attacked the very essence of it's humor. The thing about "Sins" videos is that it's supposed to be entirely wrong in the name of satire. You could say it's stupid, but not that it's wrong
+Brian Ngo it's not that I'm attacking the video or anything, actually you're right, it's meant as a joke but you gotta give it to me man, sometimes the sins are forced and far fetched not just here but also on the movie sins.
Not to disagree with you, but I've literally drawn blood with my teeth on my leg without having a whole in my pants I still have the scar to prove it too, and I don't know where you live but most places don't skip from spring to autumn, it was summer in the beginning of the game and went to fall, and then winter
I didn't laugh because they insinuate he touched Ellie sexually. It brings me great happiness and joy he removed sins for everytime she stabbed that bastard
I know the video isn't that serious but when he talks about how it goes to winter in one day and Joel's wound heals in one day, its supposed to be a time skip about 1-2 months
@@Grimmsaw but there are three. Joel kills one wether you want to or not. the second one calls you a monster, so I killed her for insulting me. and the last one tells the second one to shut up, so I killed him because you should never talk down to women ;)
chaoswraith but if you examine the modified machete/hatchet carefully, the blade is not only on the handle but the sharp point is facing you,so how is that useful?also the logic that it can reinforce the weapon somehow even though you use the main blade 100% of the time with 0 signs of it ever get reinforced
I think the problem with most commenters on these vids are that they are taking this too seriously. Guys, it's just a fun vid. of course some (most) of these sins are bullshit or ridiculous. It's supposed to be funny! And some are actually incredibly true. Just have fun with it.
chouchiha69 yeah I love the last of us but I have no problem with this video I find it funny same with other games he has done like the Uncharted games and life is strange
Very few are actually true, and most of the ones that ARE true are pointless. Example? His fall to winter problem. It went from fall to winter because in a world with no food, no hygiene, and no medicine it does take multiple months to recover from an injury like this. And yes a shot of penicillin would be enough to make him functional since multiple hours passed before he was active (actually around a day, since David said "see you in the morning Ellie" before Ellie's escape) and his body had already been fighting the infection for months. The wound is obviously fully healed months later so no open hole either. And when he gets up he is NOT 100%. He is limping and he is looking to support himself constantly. He starts getting better progressively AFTER getting shot at and realizing that Ellie is in grave danger, at which point the adrenaline kicks in. And yeah you could say that that's bullshit, but I would reply, get back to me once you survive for 20 years in a post apocalyptic world. How about character development? He sinned Joel asking what the hell fireflies wanted with Ellie because he had just said that he doesn't care. Well that's pretty easy isn't it? He asked because he did care. Not too much, he didn't see her as his daughter yet obviously but it had already started. The way Joel bonded with Ellie overtime was the most beautifully designed part of the game and the dude basically sinned the first time we caught a glimpse of that. I could go on. I love CinemaSins and they have basically sinned the crap out of all of my favorite movies. This is not similar. It's just bad.
Can we just talk about how did Ellie get Joel to that house in the winter chapter all by herself with seemingly no trouble when Joel can't go 4 seconds without running into trouble???
Actually, left behind starts when she's in the ice cream shop trying to find supplies for Joel... So we don't see the transition of her getting from the University to the shopping mall. My "point" (really meant to be a joke) was that she may or may not have ran into much trouble meaning infected or hunters etc. The same goes at the end of the DLC where she leaves with Joel. She is able to get to the garage of a village that is very close to a group of cannibals that are seeking Joel and Ellie and yet she didn't seem to get into any trouble whereas Joel seems to always meet with hunters and infected lol that was my fault though I didn't really word my comment right :)
12:50 Ellie: I want a gun Joel: No, you're to young Ellie: See? I just used a gun to save your life Joel: You're right, I'll give you straight a rifle. This could have been sinned ahah
Freddie Jackson the fact is that first Joel didn't want to give Ellie even a gun, than he gives her a rifle that is a heavy and complicated weapon. He could have given her a gun that she was supposed to be capable of using
if you watch the scene in context he gives her the gun out of necessity. Joel needs to clear a path in order to get through the mass of dangerous men. He even teaches her the basic concept of how to use it. This is not a sin it's just what needs to be done in dire circumstances. He even in the next cutscene gives her a smaller gun saying "how about something more your size". If you had actually played the game you would know this to be the case. You see the idea of Joel at first not trusting her to use a gun, and then through their interaction begins to trust her, and sees she is capable. This is not a mistake, its called storytelling.
Also, Ellie proves to Joel that she is capable long before saving his ass. At first she does nothing. After Tess dies, she starts throwing rocks and bottles. Then she jumps on people with her knife. And after all of that she finally uses a gun. Not only it's not a sin, it's expertly designed.
imo tlou is only amazing on grounded perhaps survior ,anything beside that i think game is just good , 2 out of 4 major flaws get fixed in grounded but thats my opinion. Brilliant written game , but has it flaws , again no game is perfect.
Are we going to forget that the army truck was stuck on the bridge, in Pittsburg and there were no other large bridges around but less than a hour later it gets to the abandoned town to help the thugs
For your information: There are more people who were immune to the virus and the Fireflies tried extracting the sample from them too but it never worked. (Aka the donor never survived and it was doomed to fail (Found through voice recordings found inside the hospital))
sin 64 if you actually read American Dreams it explains Ellie was friends with a soldier and was raised in military schools. So she most likely learnt it there. That's how she knew how to ride Callus.
TVR24 it does with a DLC that was for free, people like you are just stupid when it comes to understanding plot twists to video games it’s not a sin. Obviously there is something she’s done in her lifetime that has allowed her to learn how to drive stick.
9:54. Sin 57. Anyone who opens a door is definitely not an infected or a clicker. So I guess he wanted to make sure that the person was an enemy before killing him. So he planted a non fatal trap
+lil115slayer It kinda is when you think about what Ellie says. She says Okay, but what does it truly mean. Does it mean she knows what Joel says or just wants to go along with it?
+Butter Buh That's not cliffhanging. That's leaving how she felt up to interpretation. According to her face expression before she says okay, it could either mean "I can't believe we came all this way for nothing" or "He just lied, there's no way we came this way" but she decided to just accept it. As a side note, they likely lived mostly happily at Tommy's with only really issues with bandits that come by.
In the sin counter 20 Spreading The infection takes a long ass time and if so many people are now infected it would spread faster so the infection like started like a few days or just yesterday for them
The Last of Us was one of the best PS games of all time...fact...you can look it up. why else did it win so many awards; then get DLC, then get re-mastered on the PS4 (only the best games get re-mastered). and why else is it getting a sequel...Game Sins is one of the most moronic channels on TH-cam...it doesn't even acknowledge the brilliance of games...it just looks for flaws.

She had a Walkman
23:04 Ellie wasn't trying to open the bus door that she was standing on. She was stomping/kicking the other door that eventually flung open, hitting Joel. She's standing on the left door for leverage, while placing some of her weight on the right door, then starts stomping on it. 030
She was though. She's squatting and clearly pulling up, you can hear her also. She doesn't start kicking right away.
@@jynxycats No, she wasn't. She was pushing with her foot before she started kicking. Its an Insta-kill though.
They should put an option to turn that on or off.
coondogtheman1234
"It's like they're adding challenge into the game"
gee i wonder.
but looking at it from a logical standpoint, a 40 year old rusted metal pipe would break easily when being smashed against bone repeatedly. Same for Dying Light. It also makes sense for the Insta-kill limited use weapons to be bladed, as you can visibly see the handle fall apart and blade break after using it and wearing down the bolts, adhesive, etc
The pipe has more uses than 3, you obviously have not done research

I wish game sins were for actual sins of the game. Not the guy making these not picking up on story details and thinking the game made a mistake.
I wish the fanboys that watched this video understood the concept of satire. Not attacking something that literally meant nothing
I think the problem with most commenters on these vids are that they are taking this too seriously. Guys, it's just a fun vid. of course some (most) of these sins are bullshit or ridiculous. It's supposed to be funny! And some are actually incredibly true. Just have fun with it.
chouchiha69 yeah I love the last of us but I have no problem with this video I find it funny same with other games he has done like the Uncharted games and life is strange
chouchiha69 i know it's supposed to be funny, but it's doing a terrible job at it
Very few are actually true, and most of the ones that ARE true are pointless.

Clickerd idk. Maybe she has superhuman powers nobody knows about.
Either that or Joel just attracts bad luck
nope, left behind explains it, she put him on a piece of metal i guess and tied that piece to the horse lol
u can clearly see it in left behind

Ellie: I want a gun
Joel: No, you're to young
Ellie: See? I just used a gun to save your life
Joel: You're right, I'll give you straight a rifle.
This could have been sinned ahah
This is in no way sin.
Ellie just points out to him that he is wrong and Joel agrees with her based on the fact she saved his life.

Always thought the "we only take what we have to" rule was about carrying less weight means you caaan move faster...
The fact that he didn’t get a sin for the basement hotel level alone
Two in the “mourning” 😂 1:07
"drugs, I sell hardcore drugs" XD
sin 64
if you actually read American Dreams it explains Ellie was friends with a soldier and was raised in military schools. So she most likely learnt it there. That's how she knew how to ride Callus.
You shouldn't need outside material to understand the in-game story.
Lexi Barrow I’m pretty sure he also supports, “the books do not matter” as do cinemasins.
If a game requires you to read/watch outside material to understand it's plot, unless it's in the game itself, then it's a sin.
TVR24 it does with a DLC that was for free, people like you are just stupid when it comes to understanding plot twists to video games it’s not a sin. Obviously there is something she’s done in her lifetime that has allowed her to learn how to drive stick.
It was something left in from content cut from the game about her going to military school and helping soldiers there.
9:54. Sin 57. Anyone who opens a door is definitely not an infected or a clicker. So I guess he wanted to make sure that the person was an enemy before killing him. So he planted a non fatal trap
Ellie hate Cliffhangers, but this game is kinda of a cliffhanger.
not really
+lil115slayer It kinda is when you think about what Ellie says. She says Okay, but what does it truly mean. Does it mean she knows what Joel says or just wants to go along with it?
Butter Buh She probably went along with it
lil115slayer That's what you think, but others might say that she knew.
In the sin counter 20 Spreading The infection takes a long ass time and if so many people are now infected it would spread faster so the infection like started like a few days or just yesterday for them
Still the best game in ps history
and I eagerly await it's sequel
xkhalid nz ps, xbox pc
xkhalid nz fanboy
Mr. Painless85 most people agree so you can fuck off
The Last of Us was one of the best PS games of all time...fact...you can look it up. why else did it win so many awards; then get DLC, then get re-mastered on the PS4 (only the best games get re-mastered). and why else is it getting a sequel...Game Sins is one of the most moronic channels on TH-cam...it doesn't even acknowledge the brilliance of games...it just looks for flaws.
13:05 hits different now😔😔
