The Last of Us Part 1 is one rootin-tooting zombie shooting adventure through post-apocalyptic Pittsburgh. In the Last of Us, you play as Joel Miller as you escort Ellie Lastname across the United States to meet up with the Fireflies. The Last of Us Part 1 is based on a 2023 TV show on HBO called The Last of Us starring Pedro Pascal as "The Last of Us". Of course, Niel Druckmann changed a few things so people wouldn't think he ripped it off.

The reason Joel didn't ride a bike is that, being an average Texas man, he got a used 1990 Ford F150 diesel engine pickup for his tenth birthday instead of a bike, so he never learned to ride
I think Joel didn’t tell Bill that Tess was dead because he would then have to explain why he’s risking doing the job without her and would be forced to reveal Ellie’s immunity, and knowing Bill he would probably shoot Ellie upon seeing her bite.
I also think he really didn't want to talk about it, as he's being shown repeatedly shutting down emotional conversations.
