Great show! Great Show! The amount of damage that is being done and the HP, Magicka and Stamina bar is a nice addition. Ebony warrior as usual mopped the floor with those Arch Electromancers. The funny thing about Ebony Warrior is that when he pulls out that bow he actually comes forward to you ensuring he gets the shot. 🤣😂🤣 Wonder how 3 bandit chiefs with drain health weapons would fair against a city like solitude or whiterun?
Thank you! 🥳 It's good to get some opinions about the magicka and stamina bars. The Ebony Warrior is just a beast in every way! 😂 I don't think they would do very well, but I probably won't make a video of that, sorry. 😅 Difficult to set up, hard to capture, lots of issues. For reference: I spawned a Lurker Vindicator in Whiterun once, and another one when he died, and they got killed surprisingly fast. The regular townspeople are weak, and the guards are pretty bad too, but never underestimate the power of large numbers!
@lSlendermaster what this guy said would be a cool idea. Like the bandit cheifs. You could start putting enemies against whole cities to make it possible to see how a real skyrim battle would take place. I think that might even be better than the awesome vids your already posting.
@@dirge44 Using whole cities is complicated and frustrating to make for many, many reasons. There's a ton of issues and it's not the content I want to focus on for now. Maybe I'll do that in the future if we run out of normal setups, but not at the moment. 😅 Thanks for the compliment though!

This is one of those cases where seeing the magica bar is usefull for a change. It explains why Electromancers are the most dangerous kind of the arch mages you can choose from. I always wondered why Zahkriisos stopped his attack now and then. All enemies seem to have a magica bar that refills itself far faster than your own.
Thanks for the feedback! Electromancers are dangerous indeed. Zahkriisos' AI is less aggressive, and he rarely attacks consistently. Yes, NPCs generally regenerate magicka faster than the player, and Dragon Priests even faster than humanoid warlocks!
for some reason in this amazing absolute game of TESV Skyrim you the only player character is struck with a hidden -50% Magicka Regen whenever engaging combat, you might notice your magicka regens much faster when you're casting stuff out of combat, imagine the entire NPC have such benefits except yourself
@@sigmazeta2044 Yeah, I've always disliked that. The debuff is actually even higher than 50%, and it feels terrible when playing as a mage. It's hard 😂
1. The new Healthbars are *chef's kiss* , being able to actually see the magicka and stamina bars is a godsend and gives a better idea of where the NPCs are in terms of survivability. 2. I appreciate that this was mostly a Mage focused set of rounds. It highlights the strengths but also the clear flaws of Mage builds in Skyrim. Electromancers , or just NPCs and monsters that generally use Shock Spells, will always have an unfair advantage against any NPC that relies on Magicka. Even Zahkrisoos with his massive Magicka pool was running low. This is also why they were a piece of cake for the Ebony Warrior who can fight just fine with Health and Stamina alone 3. 2:52 really makes you realise that, as squishy as they are, Seeker can dish out a lot of damage really quickly on top of draining stats.
1. Great that you like that mod! I'm still gathering different opinions about it. That one is much more complicated to use, so I'll have to see if and how often I'm going to use it in future videos. 2. Shock mages can get very dangerous for sure. I wish just NPCs would react to shock attacks better than by just standing around. 😂 The Electromancer actually grabs his dagger and attacks, while the others don't. 3. The High Seeker surprised me! It turned out that he has a 33% shock resistance, plus his spells can't get resisted, so the Electromancer didn't stand a chance.
As always, Great Video!, I really love seeing powerful mages battle each other. I expected the arch pyromancer to win, him not having a melee weapon sealed his fate, and my gosh the damage that the Ebony Warrior's bow can inflict is Ludicrous, he destroyed an arch electromancer in only two shots! he might be the most dangerous archer in all of skyrim.
Thank you! 😁 I'm glad you had fun. I was unsure about the Arch Pyromancer, but the shock damage really stands out here. And yes, he's by far the most dangerous archer in the game! Even if we don't consider his extreme health and resistances, his bow shots are the strongest out of any vanilla NPC!
Are those magika bars a new feature? Also the Ebony Warrior’s combat looked really good this time around. Did you do something to improve his AI or was it just a good showing by him?
This is a different mod (TrueHUD), but I probably won't use it much because the other mod looks better and is a lot easier to use. 😄 I didn't change anything about him, but he usually does really well in general!
Ebony Warrior's custom AI is made to be really aggressive. You'll notice that he attacks whenever possible, as opposed to most enemies who occasionally space out their attacks to do nothing. He also never does the stupid shield drumming that bandits do. He doesn't randomly circle you around but instead goes straight for you and starts wailing nonstop. Even when he switches to the bow he'll still stride towards you instead of kiting and taking cover like most enemy archers.
@@heavenlysteel8337 I don't think his AI is custom. 🤔 He uses a generic combat style and is not part of the bandit faction (which causes the shield drumming). I'm pretty sure any generic NPC with the same combat style and factions will act the same, although feel free to disagree. 😅 Those mechanics are rather complex
That is the case as I definitely misremembered the custom combat style from a mod when I was looking at EW through SSEdit. I haven't played the game since July of 2022. Regardless, his generic combat style is particularly aggressive, I recall it has less probability of blocking and strafing and such.
@@heavenlysteel8337 Ohh, that makes sense then! From my own experience, he blocks a lot, sometimes waiting a stupidly long time for an opponent to attack. But it really depends on whom he's fighting. You're definitely right about him doing less strafing, he just goes straight into combat, even attacking aggressively with his sword before he has even used a shout or spell. I also like how he switches between sword, shield, spells, and his bow dynamically. A lot of other NPCs don't do that efficiently.
