Hey, I use the same exact strategy for Space Base! I carried it over from Machi Koro, in which it manages to be even less successful. At least with Space Base I still get that one coin on my turn. And you left your keys on the nightstand in the bedroom - that's not where they go, but you were prairie-dogging on the drive home and made a mad dash to the bathroom, successfully I might add. Well done!

Although the Top Ten games is interesting (but I can see drives.you insane trying to think of new things to say about games in the top 10 for months) this list adds even more value so that we can see what is coming up. I'm often on the lookout for new games, so this is perfect thank you!
Nice, Steve! That's not bad, all things considered. Out of a half-dozen friends I know who are going to Gen Con, only one of us was able to gain access early enough to find a hotel within 12 miles of the convention center. Yikes!
Pair Of Dice Paradise we use Choice Hotels to find decent hotels close. The housing portal is not My favorite to use. I have a back up hotel about 4-5 miles out booked as well in case air bnb falls through. Hope you found something close.!

Absolutely, Sean! Trevor Benjamin and David Thompson's previous game, War Chest, is also excellent. (You can see things that inspired Undaunted in it.) I recommend it, if you haven't tried it already. 🙂👍
I like this series, because it gives some attention to some great games. But there is one "flaw" to it. A game most likely can only climb that much once. Once it is in the top 50, climbing can become hard. So I would like to suggest a new series (in addtition to this one, because it is awesome). Make a list of the most consistent climbers. If a game keeps climing for 3 months, it is in the list. Each month you show the list and pick some games from this list. This way we can see, if a game only jumps high or keeps consistantly climbing. Also when you show the list and only pick some entries of the list, you will not have to repeat yourself
I think it's definitely going to be an interested few months ahead of us. I wonder if people are going to revisit a lot of older games they still have in their collections. We'll see!

My snarky commentwas regarding Frosthaven though, as it will most likely be high on the hype-train for months to come (and yes, Im a backer :-) )

This is different than each game's overall rankings on the site. The Hotness list is based more on the amount of traffic and discussion that the game is currently receiving. I hope this information is helpful!
I dunno, maybe. But it seems some people also enjoy keeping tabs on ideas that are in development and what's coming up next, too. To each their own, I suppose.

Space Base - one of my favorite games that I've never won.
Have you tried playing it against your pets? Since I started doing that, I almost always sometimes win all the time now.
