For my first carburetor job I did Eagle Rare bourbon neat. Nothing against beer, I love beer, I just like to drink the good stuff when I can find an excuse to hang out in my shed and work on stuff at my own pace.

Grolsch was my go to beer when I was younger. Now I can’t find it in my area, (greater Boston). No matter I gave up all alcohol for health reasons but I do find your video very informative. Only thing I didn’t know was how to make sure the float is level after making the repairs. That is much appreciated and thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge with us! 👍🏼😎👏

I limped my 25 year old Toro along all last season. Too cold for my arthritic fingers to fix. This spring cleaned the jets and passages, runs great again.

Glad to have found this video! I kept thinking it was a gasket issue! Installed all ne carb and back up and running. Also bought the needle and seat repair kit to fix the old one as a spare...

Thanks Steve, I had that problem with my snow blower two weeks ago, when I went to check it over at start of winter. Had gas in the oil, it leaked past the fuel line shut off valve and through carb. I was trying to figure out how it would have gotten into oil. Now I know.

Great carburetor repair video Steve, when I fix leaky carbs to test the needle and seat I just use my mouth to gently blow into where the fuel line connects to the carb.

I want to thank you Steve! I've used several of your videos to help fix so much of my equipment.. it's sad really. So thank you good sir, you've made some amazing videos. And as far as liquids to drink while doing repairs.. forget beer, captain and coke or jameson and 7up. you'll never mistake that smell for fuel or leftover fluids lol
