Imagine how less shit you're breathing in If at least 20 out of 50 cars don't have their engine on at a red light. Still, they could have made it to memorize when you turn it off or keep it permanently off somehow: ))

Auto start stop is in modern cars and also programmed as it is ( no memory/ always on after start) , because its a part of the low emmisions strategy. Lug bolts might be, because its a "Z4" . Alomost every german car is using bolts. I got you, but there is a big advantage compared to studs. You can easily change the length, if needed. If you change rims or add spacers, your studs will quickly run out of thread. You need at least 10-12mm thread, to have a sufficient connection.
I just upgraded to a 2020 Supra from a 2016 Miata and man, the Miata had soooo many worse quirks than the Supra. The seatbelts not wanting to retract at all, the interior liner on the soft top drooping and blocking the rear window, transmission issues, etc. etc. You'd think you wouldn't have issues like these with a 2016, but they're there. So far with the Supra, there are a few quirks and especially the ones mentioned here, but it is SO much less annoying of a car to drive on a regular basis. By the way Dakota, I used to run into you on the random a few times in Appleton in my wrapped Focus ST. Hopefully you'll get to see my Supra at some point 👋
The first time I got in that thing with you I remember how difficult it was. Smacked my head on the way in and out. Also, the reason the Supra doesn't come with auto-start is because Germany has a law against auto-start, as they believe that it's a safety concern as nobody is in the vehicle. So since there was never auto-start in the Z4, it never got put in the Supra.

Mathematically important somehow) of the human body, so your body actually acts as a signal booster as sorts, and can extend the range, as long as the key fob is somewhere near your head, so the wave can travel up and down the length of your body.

I have owned a 79 280zx and a 76 280z. I have also driven the 350z, 370z and the new Z and I have also driven the new Supra. For me the Supra wins in driving dynamics, sound and speed. The new Z looks better to me inside and out but it just does not drive that well. Weight is an issue, the brakes were terrible and the suspension does not feel well sorted from factory. Most of these issues can be sorted aftermarket but when the Supra is already better stock to stock why bother
Great to see you flourishing at a new thing! Next improvement in your production values should be an investment in a good mic. Bad audio takes quite a bit of the enjoyment of watching your videos. Keep rockin!
It would make so much more sense for the start-stop function to be coded to the engine modes. If you don't want it on, just put it in sports mode. If you wanna save gas, just keep it in eco mode
Maybe have a microphone to speak into? The little details like good camera quality and hifi audio makes a world of a difference. Either way, you’re gonna make it far I bet. You Alex and Gels were the only reason I watched FI.

I used to work in a tire shop, and have since quit and have very recently been fantasizing about wanting a GTI for hot hatch purposes, but you mentioning the mk5's lug bolts brought back all those painful memories of working with various lug bolt hubs and now I don't want a GTI anymore :)
Ok that start stop is only in non sport mode. Not to mention that feature is why we have the coatings on our bearings that helps this engine take extra HP so much better. Watch the build breakdown on Papadakis' channel. I guess getting in and out is weird but i am used to a roll cage so it not so bad. The vents are a pain in the ass with water , and the wheel studs can be an issue , but they are tech better. If you are at home , i have been lifting the car setting it on dollies. You can roll a wheel away , and roll another right up to it.

I still want to lower my car though as stock ground clearance is 6.1 inches. I was only looking to go 1.5 lower. I just need some advice on the topic , any help would be great!

Idk guys i had 2 cars with just nuts and it was horrible for me. My other 5 cars had lug bolts and i dont have any Problems with it.
