So what do you think of the stock controller? I was thinking about grabbing the Horizon Hobby Timber, but I think the minimum remote is like $200. Kind of why I like the carbon cub.
Hi!! Very INteresting!. I have a problem with my plane, I can configurate the stabilization. This mode, pulling down/center the sticks, work for any TX-RX model. I can't find the manual for my set (HotRC ht6a)
I bind it but with the smart mode, the elevator is inverted means when I tilt up the back, the elevator goes down then don't react as it is suppose to do. Did I miss something?

I have three questions, can you help my out? 1) 1) in the section for disable the GPS, I can't find to cycling the flight mode switch, where can I locate the flight mode switch? 2) after binding the provided transmitter with the plane, the location of the Arm and Disarm switch is revered. 3) during the compass calibration procedure: a) how can I tell the transmitter trims is centered? (The provided transmitter is without screen to show the scales). b) the instruction said: With the transmitter trims centered, power on the transmitter and the aircraft while holding the transmitter sticks as shown : how long we should hold the transmitter sticks...until when will be done?
So I bought this plane RTF version which came with a transmitter. I love it. If I buy another brand new plane same exact plane but BNF. Will this transmitter work for it?
It doesnt matter for rtf or bnf with rtf you get the transmitter and plug but if you get the bnf you should already have a spektrum transmitter that camw with a bind plug that u should use, hope this helps a year later
I am wondering if one were to remove this receiver and put it aside. Then install a AR620 receiver. Would it work at all??? I had one of these years ago and it did not have this new fancy stuff installed. Can someone offer some good info here?

Too bad you didn't do the follow up video that you mentioned. Would REALLY be nice to see how the GPS, Landing Assist and airfield geo-fence, and holding pattern works. Very disappointed!
when i try to bind and hold down the bind button then power on the remote after puting the flight battery and the little plug it will not bind at all i got it to do it oce then it took off at full throttle and crashed and burnt out the motor
I got into the radio control aircraft over 57 years ago. I did not need all the crap that is being sold to new people interning the hobby. I flow I flew pattern aircraft I did Loops pins and all that other stuff I did not need any of this stuff on my transmitter or receiver or anything part of my radio equipment these companies are overloading these people to sell them stuff that they do not need.
Me too in 1963 but the kids aren't buying the stick and tissue nowadays so we gotta keep up at least with the fact it's got wings and a tail and the kid is flying it, not huddled in the basement playing video games. Besides, didn't many kids give up after the two weeks building and the immediate crash on the first 4 seconds of flight? Here they've got a chance. Eventually the training wheels will come off. Drones are awesome too and this auto flight stuff is drone repackaged in fixed wing. This stuff makes incredibly new things happen. How about remote delivery of medicine across flood zones and whatever? It can fly where you can't.

i doubt anyone uses the transmitter provided.

Yep the dxe transmitter that came with the plane will work with other planes too. It's too bad the transmitter didn't come with a flaps switch.

Did you use the Bind 'N' Fly edition or the Ready to Fly edition?
