If this was made into a series about clubs escaping their banter eras, which clubs would you like to see covered? Liverpool is a must (I have an older video on that). Who else?
Juve After serie B with 9 consecutive titles is a must I think
Leicester - had Lineker to the rescue
Portsmouth - had a fan takeover
Bournemouth - Eddie Howe showing he was world class.
All had serious banter eras.
the 2010s were a Banter era for BOTH Milan Clubs, so also AC Milan should do. Manchester United of course too. Also Barcelona 2019-2022 and the current Ajax one
Also Wrexham, while on a WAAAAAY smaller scale, went from 15 consecutive National League participations to 2 promotions in a row.
Atletico Madrid
What a well produced video bro!
Always a pleasure to be invited by you 🤝
Forza Inter💙🖤
Love to see my team being covered, and seeing my boys Nima and Uncle Sharma is cool too! Forza Inter Sempre 💙🖤🔥
Since 2013 Man United and Inter have gone through similar struggles till 2020 with Man United only managing to win a few cups here and there but Inter have now completely risen to how they used to be in the league as well as in Europe. Wish Man United would learn something from then.
The difference is that United like many other PL clubs has an unlimited transfer budget which makes their situation even more embarrassing. Since 2013 United have spend more money on transfers than any other English club while Inter managed go get back despite not having the ability to spend so much money which makes their current situation even more impressive.
love to follow both teams inter and united but united is still underperforming tbh
The rebuild of real (not all) was done in one season. From 18/19 to 19/20. Cr7 out, vini in. Modric and kroos veterans, valverde from castilla in, keylor out, lunin in, no long project cb, militao in...the point is we still rebuilding but real won a lot of trophies in this phase so i think the problem with united is the sporting director, scouts etc not the players. Perdon por mi ingles de mierda, hago lo mejor que puedo cabrones!
Edit: yes, maybe 2 seasons but my point was that they are rebuilding as well as winning trophies, big clubs like bayern do the same
@@TurinTurambar-oc4nv yes but look real are paying so much money inter is taking every free transfer 🤣
@Diiznatz yes, but the problem is italy politics not italian football, u dont know how to sell your amazing football, thats ur problem not real problem. Look man city, a team without "recent" history but has more fans nowadays than milan or inter
Great video, as a Canadian whose team is Inter, this was a great collaboration ⚫️🔵
I fell inlove with Inter during that era & I'm glad we're out of it💙🖤Forza Nerazzurri
The quality of your videos keeps improving. Keep it up man
Grazie Rabona! Sempre Dai Forza Inter! 🖤💙
I remember during the banter era, whenever Inter faced a somewhat strong club my mentality always said that it will take a miracle for Inter to win
Remember that 2-1 win against prime Juve under Frank De Boar 😂 , I couldn't believe my eyes
Thanks for the covering of my team, I know Marotta is a controversial figure but his work at Inter can be denied
Do this more often, about the persons behind the scenes, behind the great succeses of the football clubs. They deserve recognition, their role is sometimes more important than of a great coach or player. Nice one Adrian
Really enjoyable video sir! I just wish it was longer (i enjoyed that much).
nice one, beautiful soundtrack
SPOILER: it was Sean Dyche
Don Bepe Marotta 😎🖤💙
Very good episode!
Very underrated channel!
great explainer vid
For me the banter era started with that demolishing defeat by Schalke in the CL
Very thoughtful video Adrian. I was thinking Intet were still under Chinese ownership 😂. Thanks for guiding the light mate.
Also let it be known that they have been able to hold down Man City, especially without the budget of city. Inter deserved to win that final.
BEPPE MY LOVE
Losing Beppe Marota is Juve's biggest nightmare. Let alone him joining inter. :)
Forza inter from Canada
many have to learn from Marotta... yes im looking at you Man United
Pazza Inter Amala 🖤💙!
I’d honestly be curious to see how Marotta would do with the budget like the top 4/5 clubs in Europe…
Top content!
Ok, a good video. But has anyone noticed the "Wanted Mark Violets" meme shirt?
FORZA INTER 🖤💙
I believe Zanetti has done well too
You did Joao Mario dirty 😂
Should’ve brought on Mili from Box2Box to talk about inter
the mark violets WANTED t shirt that nima has ahaha sorry for anyone not on italian football twitter that missed that reference
TalkSport isn’t a flex.
I always knew signing Ronaldo killed Juve, but I never knew WHY. Got to enjoy getting hated on for 3 years while everyone called me an idiot bc "Ronaldo was going to win us UCL".... still waiting, buddy
He’s my favorite player but yes it was a huge mistake from Juve to spend all that money on him. They took winning the serie A for granted and bought him hoping they would win the CL and look at where they are now. Although with Thiago Motta as manager they look very good so far and I believe they can win the Serie A this season.
As an inter fan the only way to describe the 90s and more than half of the 2000s as banter era is already generous. Calling them successfull is blasphemy.
Yes the uefa cups were a decent consolation prize, but we were spending just as much as juve and milan, in the best league in the world, but never won anything beside those 3 and in fact we were the laughingstock of italy because of massimo moratti, defined by his competitors as the fool of the moratti family, and it goes beyond the results on the pitch but all the idiotic tranfers he did(and he did them personally since it was another era), be it roberto carlos gifted to madrid, pirlo to milan in exchange for coco, and seedorf as well sold to milan for a couple of peanuts, the cannavaro controversy, and there is more.
To then managing to win it all when he "killed"all his competitors(the big boss at telecom at the time, the company that tapped all the phonecalls in the calciopoli scandal, is a famous friend of the former inter owner, and coincidentally inter was the only big club that came out squicky clean), to then leave the club in a financial situation that nowadays barça seems like a stable club in comparison.
The inter fans that look at that era with rose tinted glasses really baffle me.
If in fact we define banter era as an era where the team does not perform as it is supposed to, the moratti era is much more in line with the definition compared to the next 10 years, where there was no money to spend, only fools expected to win anything under tohir, but his job was to fix the finances of the club and he did so pretty well.
Long live marotta and his clever free transfers, i know the club will be alright with him at the helm
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
🖤💙🖤💙
The Mark Violets shirt? 😂
I hope Manchester United will rise again😢😢
where Eric Thohir?
marotta is way better than that kojak guy at milan.
Big Beppe Marotta 🫡👊🏿
Snakes and nothing more
I hate inter. But i like your shit. Im torn.
It’s crazy that Milan and inter went through a banter era at the same time 😅🔴⚫️🫱🏻🫲🏼⚫️🔵
Yeah it was a funny dynamic whenever the banter derbies came along .
