Jeep fan boy here: Quality, at least on the Wranglers, is awful. Pricing is ridiculous. A cylinder head shouldn't need to be replaced at 60k miles, body panels should be aligned at delivery, parking brakes shouldn't fail, every JL and JT made will have body corrosion issues that Jeep is fixing at a cost of $12-$15k per Jeep. This is all basic stuff. To get a similarly equipped Wrangler as the one I purchased in 2017 it would be 2x the price, at least. Does Stellantis really think their loyal customers are getting paychecks twice what they were making 7 years ago. Stellantis management is out of touch with the US customer. Pricing is a big problem. The other big problem is they didn't explain well enough to customers why the Hemi had to go! The Hemi played into the skyrocketing prices. There was so much extra cost with CAFE penalties and need to buy carbon credits.
They have to get their fleet fuel averages in line with both passenger vehicles and trucks where they aren't having to pay out fines or buy carbon credits. The Simpletons can't grasp that reality.
The other issue which is mentioned was cancelling product prematurely without having a replacement to fill its place ready. That gets to another issue I think that has been largely ignored is that they flooded the lots with vehicles to fill in the gap. Those vehicles haven't sold well enough or fast enough due to the pricing and a small but vocal crowd of Hemi buyers that truth be told Stellantis will be better off without! These are the ones throwing an adult temper tantrum and chasing people away from buying anything they make that doesn't have a Hemi in it or none American build roots.
I see once they get these newer platforms out it might take a bit but they will win over a new and better customer base. Most of the Hemi heads will be dead before the full transition to EV's is completed so its kind of funny seeing them throw a temper tantrum over something they will never live to see.

Why is it that Toyota car drivers are especially inept and timid? And what makes Toyota car drivers so special that bad drivers are drawn to these car like moth into open flames? Theory is that Toyota drivers are humor-less drones who, following Darwin's theory, have self-selected into driving the very soul-sucking cars that defines their personality.

Stellantis has an interesting portfolio but too many brands within it competing for the same market. However to many buyers there is nothing interesting in their US/Can showrooms. Time to bring over Citroen and Peugeot to USA/Canada

In Europe the Stellantis brands are always much cheaper and that is why they sell well. I get why Americans do not want to buy their products for the same price as Toyota, Ford and Volkswagen.

Why is Stallantis purposely lowering the quality of assembly and material but drastically raises the prices? 🤨 Shouldn't the reason to make it cheaper is to lower the prices make it more accessible to people with lower income??

I have a 23 Scatpack Charger. I love the vehicle because of the power and nostalgia of American muscle, but I’d be the first to admit the Stellantis vehicles are way overpriced for the amount of features/quality you get. Each of their vehicles probably needs to be $10k cheaper, or more.

    Lets see the obvious reasons:
    Overproduction. Not enough buyers
Buyers jumped to Chrysler products and jumping back to Japanese.
Insane price hikes for Jeep brand
Luxury/performance brands using same platforms and cheap base model parts.
Maserati and Alfa brands hemorrhaging money, both have never done well in the USA.
German competition is higher quality in similar or next level price bracket.
Korean competition grows in quality yearly.
Market flops like Dodge Hornet reusing very old platforms that didnt sell well to begin with.
