  • @idansim1

    Small correction the Oct 7th intelligence failure wasn't Mossad mistake, Shin Bet is responsible for gathering intelligence in Gaza and not the Mossad. It was a Shin Bet failure.

    • @rockobarocco_d0m6e47
      @rockobarocco_d0m6e47 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In my opinion they failed on purpose. There are internal documents that prove Shin Bet knew about Hamas plans to launch new terrorist attacks, yet they didn’t do anything.
      Without wanting to spread disinformation, I believe there is even proof they knew about Hamas wanting to attack the festival and Israel preparing their military for war and special operations weeks in advance. I‘m not 100% sure if that is true tho.

    • @bschmidt-l7z
      @bschmidt-l7z 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      this is a very narrow way to analyse the intelligence failiure. saying mossad has no touch to an iran planned attack done via hamas as a proxy is plain wrong. did shin bet have major responsibility to raise red flags before the attack? definitely, but the 7th oct intelligence failiure is cross orginization from IDF, shin bet and the mossad.

    • @bra6352
      @bra6352 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, it's was a sole Aman failure and Shin Bet had nothing to do with it as its authority and responsibility lies in internal Israeli affairs and the west bank .
      The military intelligence is responsible of Hamas

    By glossing over Israel’s numerous controversial actions, this mini-documentary paints an overly sympathetic picture of the country as a victim. For a more balanced portrayal, it should acknowledge events like Israel allegedly wiretapping Bill Clinton, the deliberate attack on the USS Liberty, their role in the Iran-Contra affair, illegal settlements in Palestinian territories, espionage cases like Jonathan Pollard, and ongoing violations of international law. Omitting these key points conveniently ignores the harm Israel has caused, both regionally and to its supposed allies.

      Yeah I’ve never understood the entire premise. Best type of catch-22 because if you point out the flawed history and morals of dividing sovereign land by foreign powers in itself, you’re an anti-Semite for denying Jews their own land and nation. The nazis were unprovoked violent extremists. Point blank. No argument there. My problem stands with conflating Arab politics with nazi anti-semitism… just not the same thing at its core. Notice she says, the “UN decided” not that the surrounding Arab states decided or that “the native people already living in those lands, unmoved for centuries-to-millenia..decided”… at the end of the day millions of people, of all backgrounds, have died and continue to because when it comes to the core conflict, the pro-Israel side refuses to even acknowledge where the free Palestine’s argument and gripe is even coming from. At risk of going on too long, I’ll skip the part about there existing more “Semitic” people in this world than just Jewish and so from a purely linguistic standpoint, lots of anti-Arabian sentiment is also anti-Semitic… but I’ll just end with saying that once again. Powerful western governments botched the resolution of a war through ignoring the valid sentiments of all living people… and now those same people uprooted from their homes and communities are being gaslighted and misrepresented in the first place. SO… how about this. Let’s just give Jewish people the “Indian” Reservations in the US or something. The fact of Jewish history existing in the Middle East I do not see how it can trump the continuous residency of the people living there since.

    • @admarshall2214
      @admarshall2214 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Like don’t get me wrong, the idea of Mossad getting Adolf Eichmann f*cking warms my heart imagining that bastard being put to trial in a court of Jewish people is like imagining the Black Panthers decide the fate of Robert E. Lee and you know… not putting confederate statues up and stuff. My point isn’t that Jewish people shouldn’t have a home. It’s that the establishment of their State should not have been at the expense of the lives and livelihoods of others. Difficult problems should not have quick and simple solutions. IMO, that was the UN’s biggest failure. And they failed because they simply didn’t take their goddamn time and think critically.
