putting Griezmann below Coutinho and especially below Lukaku is very harsh IMO. Barca made about the same loss on him as they made on Coutinho or Chelsea did on Lukaku, but at least he didn't embarass the club in the same way as either Coutinho or Lukaku did. On top of that he actually put in acceptable numbers, if still underwhelming, which the same can't be said about Lukaku nor, the whole stint taken into account, for Coutinho
I agree with you although I understand his reason that Griezmann never made sense since he and Messi played a similar role. While Couthino made sense as a replacement for Neymar as a signing. So in terms of it being a stupid idea I see his point. Although, I think if he put more weight on who had better results Griezmann should be a lot higher on this list. Plus if you consider he was there for basically Barça’s worst time in history with Bartou and pandemic and the three different coaches his numbers look even better. I think he had a pretty good second season and would have liked to see how he would’ve done if he stayed when Messi left.
@@bendricdayne2850Coutinho might make sence in terms of the style at Barca(which is also debatable), but he was not the level of player. He played well for a midtable Liverpool team for years, but he was not really a top class player. Liverpool were dropping him from 5he starting lineup anyway and they sold that bench guy for so much money.
It should be mentioned that Chelsea sold Lukaku to Everton for more than 30M first time around. That makes the loss on selling him a second time a lot better compared to Coutinho or Griezmann.
@@missu2632 no, that 30 millions don't count. That money was already there, even if they didn't sign him second time. It's not evaluation of his two stints at Chelsea in total, it's evaluation of the second signing.
yeah but they gave 100 million net to one of their biggest rivals, never had a position for him to play, and was one of the final nails in the financial coffin they are still in
The Antony signing was painful for us (Ajax), but also wildly comical. He was one of our best players at times, but had a knack for dissappearing and we weren't opposed to him leaving, but United refused to sign him for €40m within our given deadline, €60m in our newly given deadline, €80m in our last negotiation effort close before the end of the transfer deadline, but when they came just at the brink of that deadline they immediately said yes to €95+5m that we gave them honestly intended more as a middle finger.
@@diablejambe3460Thankfully the old regime is gone and anything associated with Ed Woodward's dumbass has left with it. Transfers like this are why United are so dusted these days.
How is Anthony not 1st? He has more goals in there whole of the 21st century than some of the greatest forwards if all time, including Di Stefano, Maradona, Van Basten and Pele
I think a “what on earth is going on at Aberdeen” video is on the cards. From being relegation threatened midway through last season, to now being joint-top of the league, having won 13 games in a row and unbeaten in nearly 20.
Funny enough, Aberdeen was the last Scottish club outside the Old Firm clubs to ever win the top-flight league. It happened during the 1980s, when they had the future Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson as their manager. They also won the Cup Winners Cup during that period.
It’s exactly what I came to comment. It’s ridiculous - ONE SEASON? Madrid didn’t even outplay many of the teams they beat and he really wasn’t that special in the latter half of the champions league. Maatsen GAVE him the ball. You cannot call someone the second best of all time based on ONE season - which even from here - was clearly a purple patch where a player was played out of their normal position. If he’d scored 400 goals, sure. But it wasn’t that - he’s not even the BdO frontrunner!
@@tayhonorable7421purple patches don't last a whole season and certainly don't make a midfield disfunctional without you in it. Bellingham over bale is outrageous, yes, but don't downplay how important he is for Real Madrid
Making Ronaldo the scapegoat for Juve getting worse is ridiculous. People said the same thing about him in his first season back at united "Yeah we know he's scored 24 goals but he's upset the team balance" It's just nonsense. If Juve or United, or any other club is being badly run/managed that's not the players fault. He did his job well at the end of the day.

Lol Bale is the greatest 100m transfer easily. Real for struggling for years for La Decima and Bale was that missing puzzle. How many CL Mbappe won for PSG? Unless Bellingham wins 4 CL in his first 5 seasons at Real, he aint even close to Bale.
It's got very little to do with what happens on the pitch. And even less about which trophies were won. They bought Bale because it would sell a lot of Real Madrid jerseys. Especially in the Uk market. In that regard, his signing was pretty succesful.
Bale didn't even play a full season for Real Madrid in all his years. Bellingham has already won a UCL at 21 (Bale was 25 for his first), will probably have more appearances than Bale after 4 seasons and will be in Real Madrid's top 3 most important players for at least the next decade. Bale was never that important, he didn't even start against Liverpool
I think mbappe's only merit ahead of bale, is that he was his club's consistent talisman and became psg all time top scorer, while bale got injured a lot, but i agree its hard to debate this with bale's 5 UCLs
@@jordanmince7613In reality it’s a lot about speculation. Bellingham was signed as a 20 year old so his value can still rise quite significantly and also he might give out a lot for Real. With Bale we know what happened. He was outstanding many times but also a lot of injuries and his decline in last few years with lack of sell on fee makes it somewhat a worse signing so far than Jude. Not to say that Bale never was exactly the star player in Real, at least according to fans and team itself. For Mbappe the justification could be that he was that outstanding player in the team for many years and pretty much the best in the world. It’s hard to compare those while you have to consider the teams and that some of the players already left and some of them are just there for a short while. Also it’s not all about how much trophies they won with the team either. I’d say it’s how good the signings are so far and how good they seem to be for the future if everything goes the way it does. In that way of thinking I’d say Jude has a huge chance of being a better signing than Bale
Yup, I especially disagree with the Ronaldo-Kane one, so Juve signs Ronaldo, he does all he can to win trophies, does win trophies , but he’s a flop because he didn’t win the UCL. Kane joins Bayern, does all he can to win trophies, but isn’t a flop for winning none cause he tried. It genuinely makes no sense.
They didn't allow him and it wasn't a free. He moved for Compensation (few million) at the end of his contract, he just wasn't good enough at United first time and had personality wasn't great. Leaving United to Juve was the kick his career needed, similar to Gnabry.
@@peterd4011 This is either a lie or just ignorance. Fergie sent Evra to his house to convince him to stay, and said later the only reason he left was because of "His shitebag agent"
Griezmann in 17th is crazy when he single hand-idly won them a CDR and contributed to the 2nd most goals in the team behind only messi. All that whilst playing out of position, and if you know Griezmann there’s only one position where you shouldn’t play him and that’s where he was played
Alfie should do “What on Earth is going on in Liga MX” since we no longer have relegation, the clubs keep moving around, and the leagues horrific attendance as of late
I have so many problems with this list. 1. Griezmann played okay for Barca he wasn’t great but did contribute that’s way more than Felix for Atleti, Coutinho for Barca and Antony will ever be for United. He had a lot of goal contributions. 2. Grealish above Ronaldo cmon we know you don’t like Ronaldo but that is actually ridiculous he is currently being benched by doku. Ronaldo is criminally underrated for Juve. 3. Neymar that low is genuinely one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. Neymar took PSG to their first UCL final and had a few deep runs. Neymar imo first season at PSG he was the best player in the world before his injury in February. To me Neymar is at minimum top 3 not because of trophies which he won but because he was by far the best player on this list during their times at the club
Juventus fan here. Ronaldo scored but he made Juventus worse and as Alfie said ruined their financial structure. Juve won 4 doubles before Ronaldo came and in that time also two champion league final. Ronaldo came and they only won the league twice in two season. No Italian cup and 1/16 in champion league. His third season Juve only won Italian cup. All the other Juve players regressed in terms of scoring. Their structure tactic of every player pressing was gone as the tactic changed to oh let Ronaldo shoot. I hated the Ronaldo signing. Ruined Juventus.
Maybe crazy to say, but to me it is obvious: A LOT of player will do the job Grealish did in Man City, if not better. That's proven by how average he was throughout his time at the club, even in the treble season, he never really shines.
@@williamlee7672 I don't even think it is entirely the transfer's fault tho. Juve did poorly in recruiting new talents, and that's not Ronaldo's fault. You can work around with a low budget and still had better talent recruitment than Juve did. And also, Inter, Milan and Napoli were all on the way up, so the eventually titles lost is not entirely on the transfer of Ronaldo.
I’m not a Ronaldo fanboy but ranking Grealish above him is absolutely insane. Ronaldo was comfortably the best player for Juventus during his time there, scoring 101 goals in 134 games for the club, knocking out Atlético Madrid in the UCL all by himself in 2019 and winning two Serie A titles in three years, what more could you possibly ask for? Grealish has mostly been a rotational player for City and one decent half season simply can’t justify his ridiculous €120M transfer fee.
I think what you could probably have asked for is a champions league trophy, rather than going backwards in the champions league. How much did they have to reduce their team/recruitment to accommodate Ronaldo?
Goals scored don't tell the whole story. I would argue that CR7 has been making his teams perform at least slightly worse in the last 10 years. There is some overlap between what's best for the team and what's best for a player's stats, but they're clearly not identical. Look at the number of possessions CR7 has and the amount of chances he creates vs his conversion. E.g. he takes hundreds of free kicks and his teams get barely a handful of goals. I would argue if you simply gave Portugal and Juve possession hundreds of times, they would score more than that - and that's just one harmful aspect of his game.
Neymar should be below him too. If the justification for ronaldo is they they didn't win the UCL and 100 million is too expensive for that then neymar for 222 million and not winning it either, while not performing as well as ronaldo did in juve makes it clear he should at least be above Neymar.
Juve fan here, you failed to mention that in the case of Ronaldo covid played a huge part. We lost money on the deal because we are the only big club in Italy who owns their own stadium and when covid hit we lost all that revenue. We had to sell off players and couldn’t put quality players around him his final season because of that. His stats with us were a total success as well as for Serie A because his presence brought in money from TV deals.
And Alfie also acts like he’s the only big signing juve made, Juve signed Arthur for 70m and De Ligt for 75… Bernardeschi for 65m… Maybe if the management wasn’t so incompetent they wouldn’t have gotten crippled financially, also Juve’s dominance in Serie A was heavily aided by the milan teams being trash, so those coming back was always going to make it way more difficult for them, with or without Ronaldo. The entire Kane-Ronaldo reasoning is simply flawed, and if you swapped the names but leaving everything else the same, I guarantee he’d be above him in this list.
Coutinho going on loan to Bayern and scoring and assisting against Barca was honestly hilarious Also, Liverpool signing MacAllister for 35m before Chelsea picked up Enzo and Caicedo for a combined 220m is honestly hilarious
Liverpool are probably the smartest top team in terms of the actual financial part of a transfer in the last years. Klopp's entire scouting structure relied on looking for team players, who were overlooked by the mass to get massive bargains out of them. Here in germany the very much image crushing move to RB Leipzig will absolutely benefit the club from a structural standpoint that something like a dystopian Red Bull dynasty isn't too unrealistic with knowledge of Klopp's splendid work in the past.
Yeah but Mbappe 17 and wasn’t supposed to be THE signing that helped them to get the CL, compared to Ronaldo, who was one of the 2 best players in the world at that point and had just won 3 CLs in a row.
@@nicolaischweizer3708 so they paid 180million for winning Ligue1 which they were already dominating. That makes the transfer way too bad if you say like that. Not like they got him for a bargain. To only extend for more money in bonuses and lose him for free. :)
19:00 if you ask a Barca fan, they would certainly say Dembulance was the worse of the 3 signings. Coutinho and Griezmann at least tried, yet Dembulance, besides his injuries, was also plagued by attitude issues during training. He also insulted Barca fans one last time by disclosing that only half of the 50m transfer fee will go to Barca itself (25m), with the rest going to Dembulance himself and his agent His grin towards to camera during PSG's comeback against Barca in last year's UCL was the final straw. Now he is essentially person non grata in Barcelona.
I work in a school in Birmingham. A colleague came in and said she’d taken her son to a party at his new school friend’s house. She said it was a bit weird because there were loads of hench guys hanging out with his dad. She thought he might be in the mafia. She showed us a photo. It was Philippe Coutinho, who was playing for Villa at the time.
Ngl, Grealish and Caicedo are too high. No way a 100 goal scoring Ronaldo is below these two Edit: Anything below TOP 10 is fitting but car crash since hitting 10th. Caicedo didn't play as good as Enzo overall, Ronaldo scoring feat had way more impact than a Man City sidekick, and the proven success of Bale should put him way ahead of Bellingham, and for me higher than Mbappe as well.
Ronaldo's image is extremely important too. His jersey sales are a huge money maker for his clubs. He elevates the imageof the clubs he goes to in other countries.
1. Clearly you’ve never watched a Chelsea game this season or the 2nd half of last season. Caicedo has been genuinely world class since the end of last season and Enzo has been dreadful and can’t run at all. Aside from Palmer, Caicedo is the clear next best player on the team. Please go watch Caicedo’s recent matches and then come back. 2. Please ask any juve fan about Ronaldo and how much worse he made them with his useless build up and non existent pressing. 3. This list clearly heavily weighs future potential/sell on and wages. Caicedo is still only 22 on a rising Chelsea team where he not only has several years left at the club but they can make at least most of his fee back selling him and makes nowhere near Ronaldo’s wages. Ronaldo was bought at 33 and sold for basically nothing and was on more than 4x more wages Caicedo’s wages.
Surely you can see how a player who left the club without achieving his goals vs a player who is still at the club actively working towards that goal right? right? something he even acknowledges in the video....
While Dembele is highly skilled and was a promising talent you have to consider his professionalism (work rate, playing video games until late at night, coming late to training, eating junk food, striking his way out of Rennes/Dortmund) I am sure his injuries are somewhat connected to his lifestyle albeit him being unlucky as well.

Ronaldo's transfer to Juventus should be much higher tbh. Not only was he very good in Juventus, he also bought in ridiculous money with merchandise sales. The fact that Juventus was underperforming during that time wasn't rly his fault, as the team was very clearly on a massive downwards spiral and they ended up being even worse once they sold Ronaldo
Grealish should be a lot lower. 23/24 season he had 20 appearances in the league, making 3 goals, 1 assist and 7 yellow cards. Antony had 29 appearances and got 1 goal 1 assist 5 yellow cards in a much worse united side. We can all agree that Antony is a flop, but on paper Grealish isn't far behind him and cost more money. Also the signing made less sense because Grealish was good at Villa where he was allowed to roam free and express himself, which he can't in Peps system. Awful signing.

Finally, a football analyst who recognizes that football is more than just scoring goals and winning trophies. The game is rich with statistics and nuances. For example, I rate players like Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi, Zinedine Zidane, and Ronaldinho above Pele, Cristiano Ronaldo, Frank Lampard, and Eden Hazard, even though the former group scored fewer goals. Similarly, while Alan Shearer remains the Premier League’s top scorer, many would rank strikers like Thierry Henry, Wayne Rooney, Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Ian Wright higher for their overall contributions to the game. Excellent analysis!
If you pay 100 mill in football and the player leaves after 4 years for nothing, that's not a loss of 100million. There is something called Amortization. And oh yeah, marketing returns.
You can’t win sometimes. Bale was instrumental in 4 Champions League wins but gets demoted for being outcast by the club despite him not being the problem.
Bro this list is garbage 😂 Antony is the Goat l. He has same amount Ballon d'ors as Neymar, same amount world cup as Ronaldo, same amount puskas Goals as messi, Same amount, he's 3 goals away from hattrick on every game.
I disagree on Griezmann and Coutinho. I understand the similar role to Messi argument, but at the end of the day Griezmann was a way better player, he played better at Barca, he was signed fir less money and sold for more. Coutinho was super overrated player, who wouldn't be worth the money or even half of it, even if he played his full potential. Coutinho did good job at Liverpool when the team was really bad, but he was not a player who could be a star or even starter at a top team. He was losing his starting job at Liverpool in his last season at the club, because it was already clear that Salah, Mane, Firmino front 3 was working wonders and they needed more central and high work rate midfielders rather than creative. I still don't understand how Liverpool sold their bench player to Barca for that money. Griezmann in contrary was really a world class player. The difference between these players is even more evident at the international level. Griezmann was the best player on a world cup winning team, Coutinho has done nothing for Brazil.
Mbappe at #1? 189 million? Are we saying that top scorer at psg in the french league justifies 189 million? A team with donnarumma, messi, neymar, veratti, marquinhos, hakimi, etc etc? The fact that he was paid a fortune. The fact that left after 5 or 6 seasons for ZERO dollars, as in a 25 year you bought for 189 million, and sold him for ZERO. Those two facts alone should put him significantly down the list. Not to mention neymar. Those two are awful signings.
If you're spending 100m on a player, how much should sell-on be factored in? You're not signing a player to be sold on you're signing a player to drive you forward and be the man. Great video as always!
So ronaldo to juventus for 100 mil is 9 for not winning the champions league. But neymar for 222 mil - 90 mil (still more expensive than 4onaldo) and not winning the champions league which was the goal all while loosing the league to lille lands him closer to the top
I don't remember him talking policy! i clearly heard him talking about human rights, well unless you count human rights are "debatable" then ok, in this case only this might be counted a "politics"!
Ronaldo Juve was not his fault though... That Juve squad and managerial turnover were atrocious. Let's not forget his hat trick against Atletico, he tried. He should at least be above Neymar, he also failed to achieve PSG's goals just like Ronaldo, was injured for at least 30% (100-something games) of the time there, and cost just as much, if not more even with the Al Hilal transfer. Griezmann should be higher, Caicedo lower, Antony definitely lower (no chance that guy becomes anything worth more than 50M), Mbappe at 1 is iffy too (I personally think it should be Bale)
Caicedo is 3 years younger than Rice and since the start of 2024 statistically has been better or on par with Rice and excels him or equals him in every metric but aerial duels. He also captained his national team at 22 and is arguably the second best player in Chelsea besides palmer at only 22. Logically he will only get better by age. Caicedo is only 22 with plenty physical and mental development left and it seems like he’s improving every game whereas Rice is about to enter his prime as he’s turning 26 in a couple of months
My unpopular opinion is that coutinho was completely scapegoated for barcas failings purely because he was the most expensive player in the spree that sent them bankrupt
I know Lord Antony gets a justified bad rep, but Eden Hazard's move to Real Madrid is an all time stinker. He is the all time highest Real Madrid transfer ever, was their highest player ever behind Ronaldo, was given THEE NUMBER SEVEN, didn't even score ten goals, had his contract terminated with a year to spare, and retired from the sport altogether. Anthony can at least say that he has a future in the sport even though he's a total bust at United. Hazard was the best player in the Premier League for at least two seasons and completely fell on his face the minute he got to Madrid.
As a Barca fan I feel like coutinho was decidedly worse than griezmann. Like you mentioned, it was clear to see how griezmann’s significance would be dubious whereas coutinho seemed like a better fit. Despite that, griezmann had a more positive impact imo, and their respective post Barca careers say something of the type of players we were dealing with.

Bellingham over bale is absolutely criminal
Lmaooo. Exactly
He scored goals to put them in the lead in 2 Champions League finals. His goal in 2018 is maybe the best ever scored in the final.
As a player ye but as a signing it makes some sense

Lol Bale is the greatest 100m transfer easily. Real for struggling for years for La Decima and Bale was that missing puzzle. How many CL Mbappe won for PSG? Unless Bellingham wins 4 CL in his first 5 seasons at Real, he aint even close to Bale.
lol
True
This is the first time I’ve seen you get a list wrong mate.
yeah usually agree with him but the last few are very questionable

💯
@williamlee7672Ronaldo is easily the scapegoat here. He did what you guys paid for him to do. Everything else is juventus fault
Grealish has mostly been a rotational player for City and one decent half season simply can’t justify his ridiculous €120M transfer fee.
as a Juve fan, I honestly wish we never signed cr7
@@duarte48afonso cr7 was 33 when we bought him, and we sold him for only 18m 3 years later...Neymar was a signing that made much more sense

We lost money on the deal because we are the only big club in Italy who owns their own stadium and when covid hit we lost all that revenue. We had to sell off players and couldn’t put quality players around him his final season because of that. His stats with us were a total success as well as for Serie A because his presence brought in money from TV deals.

Maybe if the management wasn’t so incompetent they wouldn’t have gotten crippled financially, also Juve’s dominance in Serie A was heavily aided by the milan teams being trash, so those coming back was always going to make it way more difficult for them, with or without Ronaldo.
The entire Kane-Ronaldo reasoning is simply flawed, and if you swapped the names but leaving everything else the same, I guarantee he’d be above him in this list.

Also, Liverpool signing MacAllister for 35m before Chelsea picked up Enzo and Caicedo for a combined 220m is honestly hilarious

I agree with bellingham being high, grealish and declan rice. But theres only one CLEAR winner. And thats Gareth Bale. It seems a if youtube bloggers are too influenced by mainstream media. You started with stats and achievements. Real madrid signed Ronaldo in 2009, Kaka etc.. They hadnt won the champions league since 2002, then Bale arrived in 2013. Bale played in all 4 finals, scored the winning goal in two of those four, and score in the shootout for a third final. he scored 81 goals in 176 matches, thats almost 50%. And you talk about relationship with the fans? Not to mention, he struggled with injuries too & didnt get along well with all the coaches. 4 Champions leaague titles in 5 years... your list is flawed bro
Whilst Jude has achieved everything in Madrid and he did say that he wants to spend 10-15 years there and I hope he does and he might get his wish considering how good they lock down players, Mbappe became the greatest player for PSG, maybe I'm biased but he did become that in most people's eyes. Am commenting your video for the first time, but I have always been watching especially the 'rankings'.Thanks Alfie
Enzo Fernandez did the unforgivable thing of calling Black French players the worst thing possible, he called them "African". Football world was rightly outraged.
Ronaldo ranking so low is a sacrilege
Alfie first comment I’ve ever made but you are the best football you tuber there is. Is it possible you could do a video on Nottingham Forest what ever your opinion is , but we got promoted for the first time in 20 plus years I think we’re worth a video.
The Ronaldo hate is so clear… you talk about the finances… juve made so much money through Ronaldo brand value only…. Should definitely be higher than Caicedo and Grealish
@@williamlee7672 clearing cr7 being scapegoated…. Juve already had so much other problems( players aging, not replacing them, management issues)
@@williamlee7672 yeah ronaldo ruined juventus ,not the aging players ,not dybala being injured for half of those 3 years ,not douglas costa spitting in the face of other players more than scoring goals ,not the shitty signings ,but him ,the player that scored the most goals . He's been gone for 3 years and the team continued to regress ,i would argue that ronaldo prolongued the dying Juve team for a couple more years .
Why are some people quick to claim 'hate' for everything? It's such an NPC thing to do.
@@beno1129 why are some people unironically calling other people NPC's? It's such an NPC thing to do .
A video about Wout Brama and Steve McClaren winning the eredivisie with fc twente would be awesome!
Love when football youtuber talks about middle eastern conflict! My favorite content!
grealish over cristiano ???? come on man. bale not first???? griezmann so low, Felix so high???? pogba almost bottom?? Alfie we're better than this.
This list had elements of a car crash Alfie 😅
You could never convince the viewer that Grealish should be ahead of Ronaldo without being advised into counceling.
The guys without proven legacy like Caicedo, Fernandez, Rice, should be in the neutral part of the list. Bellingham is way too high. Between Neymar and Mbappé, i don't really know.
A rare Alfie L, that turns into a W because of how spetacular and insane this video hits, particularly comparing to your usual well presented, and built points.
W vid this Alfie 👏👏
Keep up
Pass back Jack (Gealish) should be number 19 on this list.
Well made video keep them coming!
Bellingham over Bale is a howler
Pogba at 13 is crazy. Yeah the lows were bad but the high were amazing
No one disrespects the GOAT Antony 🐐
You can’t win sometimes. Bale was instrumental in 4 Champions League wins but gets demoted for being outcast by the club despite him not being the problem.
Let's not forget when pogba got added into the pfa team of the year it was a joke of a decision. So he's on the same line as Griezeman, Coutinho etc
Rice over Caicedo is generally low key crazy!! At 23, Caicedo is already far better footballer and its not even remotely close tbh.
Bale should've been no.1 despite the injuries and fall out with fans.
This from an Arsenal fan lol
Bro this list is garbage 😂
Antony is the Goat l.
I think mbappe needs a do over, he is probably mid or lower end now
Actual respect for Bale❤
If you're spending 100m on a player, how much should sell-on be factored in? You're not signing a player to be sold on you're signing a player to drive you forward and be the man. Great video as always!
Harry Kane doesn't turn up in big games, 2 Euro finals, Champions Final, and also against Real Madrid he couldn't do ish
So ronaldo to juventus for 100 mil is 9 for not winning the champions league. But neymar for 222 mil - 90 mil (still more expensive than 4onaldo) and not winning the champions league which was the goal all while loosing the league to lille lands him closer to the top
Antony respect button ✍️🔥-->
so annoying when he puts politics in his video
Agreed, "politics" is not for the simple-minded
I don't remember him talking policy! i clearly heard him talking about human rights, well unless you count human rights are "debatable" then ok, in this case only this might be counted a "politics"!
yeah it's soooo annoying when people express some opposition to a literal genocide!
Great vid!
I'd love for you to list these again but from the point of the selling clubs.
Would be interesting to see how the lists compare
Hazard flopped so hard that I even forgot that he was at RM for 4 years 😮
Bro ain't no way Alfie just said caicedo has a higher ceiling than rice... Blud wtf
No individual is worth that much money.
Griezemen wasn’t a flop, he wasn’t as good as everyone hoped but he was still decent unlike say Hazard
My unpopular opinion is that coutinho was completely scapegoated for barcas failings purely because he was the most expensive player in the spree that sent them bankrupt
Well done on all you’re success mate
I know Lord Antony gets a justified bad rep, but Eden Hazard's move to Real Madrid is an all time stinker. He is the all time highest Real Madrid transfer ever, was their highest player ever behind Ronaldo, was given THEE NUMBER SEVEN, didn't even score ten goals, had his contract terminated with a year to spare, and retired from the sport altogether. Anthony can at least say that he has a future in the sport even though he's a total bust at United. Hazard was the best player in the Premier League for at least two seasons and completely fell on his face the minute he got to Madrid.
Mbappe leaving for free is down to PSG's player mismanagement rather than injuries or form. So maybe justifiable
Came for the rankings, stayed for the dry humour
As a Barca fan I feel like coutinho was decidedly worse than griezmann. Like you mentioned, it was clear to see how griezmann’s significance would be dubious whereas coutinho seemed like a better fit. Despite that, griezmann had a more positive impact imo, and their respective post Barca careers say something of the type of players we were dealing with.
