  • Walt Disney World is CLOSED. As is the rest of Orlando...and the 72,000,000+ visitors we see on an annual basis have all but disappeared. Covid-19 has caused such massive disruption to our day to day lives.
Today I'm taking you on a particularly eerie ride around town. We'll show you a glimpse into the world's most popular tourist town while it's shut down, as well as talk about how we're shifting to still help our buyer and seller clients from around the world.

Great video! Interesting to see what's happening in other markets, especially those that rely heavily on the tourism industry.

The Walt Disney Company has reported that the company lost $6.9 billion in 2020 because of its park closures around the world, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Disney announced the number during its full-year earnings report.

This is not going to just stop at April. If we take Wuhan as a model and Florida was slower acting than the Chinese in terms of lock down, quarantine started mid January. Wuhan is looking forward to a moderate resumption of activities by the 8th of April, that’s almost three months of lock down. That’s the minimum you are going to see.

My hope is that the current models of a peak mid April and a re-opening sometime in May are correct. I’ve been wrong in the past, and I’m absolutely not an health expert! Thanks so much for watching.
