Honda NC750x DCT *CRASH*

- This happened in December 2019. Quite high up, on a mountain road, very low visibility, too much speed and a lot of inexperience. Should have focused my vision much further down the road, instead of just in front of me. Could have turned out much worse. But I learnt a plenty from this situation.
Luckily I did not get hurt and my bike was not damaged. We could continue with our journey.

Bought myself a NC750x just more than a week ago. I'm checking a lot of videos on youtube at the moment. Glad I stumbled upon yours. Falling is part of life, but then we stand up and get on with it.

@@amilcar5772 Lekker. Love it. I just need to get dual tyres that I can start going off-road. Lots of places that still need to be explored.
It is not a matter of using the rights tyres, the right speed or even the weather.........
It is always the rider who underestimate the combination of all these conditions, circumstances and inexperience.
I am very glad you have broken nothing, so control yourself, learn of this accident, shut up and practise. It could happened to every one.

I see it raining and on sand, brave at those speeds with an nc which isn't an offroader, glad no one hurt and the bike OK. I am shocked you were so calm, I wld be sweering so bad, but crashes happen, so happy all OK tho

These NC750s are built like tanks mine went down on pavement and not a scratch and I just have the engine guard sliders I like them better than the metal frame guards which are too heavy, this bike is heavy enough as it is.
Brilliant it's a honda so it still started. Fantastic quality.

Not a crash..you drove it off the road into a ditch.. bikes dont like that..it could happen to anyone..but you were lucky not to receive any injury..the bike can take a knock but we bust up when we hit the ground...ouch.!!

Sorry, I see that you’re a bit sensitive.
It happens to so many riders. Not reading the corner (lots of mist too!) coming in too hot and that’s when their instinct says brake and they fixate on the bushes, so that’s where they end up. Once you have some more experience it will tell you to leaaaaan and you’ll get round, though in this case the road surface wasn’t ideal. Glad you survived ok sir!
You needed to add more speed and lean angle and try and get more road-focused tyres if possible, maybe put a racing slick on the front 🤔

that was the best laugh iv had in ages ... what goes on in peoples heads ,,i fancy some very light off road ,,, i know lets use a road bike with road tyres ,and the DCT model at that , your friend had the right idea on the f650 funduro

In roads like this one, you can better ride in manual. Especially using high rotation in gear 2. It gives more stability.
