A high-quality 2560x1600 pixels IPS panel in a portable form factor that looks great, and gets bright but is let down by some software glitches, which VCHANCE may have fixed by now.
The issue with the brightness keeps resetting to 20% when using a single type-C might have been fixed on newer revisions. I am not sure about the issue with the freesync but that may also be fixed too in newer versions. If it is, this is one of the best portable monitors on AliExpress.

One thing I don't like about the 16 inch OLED screen from VCHANCE is that it is fitted in the same case as this one. They didn't bother to make a new metal case yet.
Meaning there is empty space between the screen and the frame which bends the screen and glass when pressing too hard on the screen.
And the power input gets burning hot.
They also made the kickstand very weak, so it can barely hold the weight of the screen in any other angle when using touch.
Oh and the OSD Menu on the 16 inch is "copied" from their 15.6 inch screen. So you have to take the offset into account when using the OSD.
(What I mean by that: The OSD is still attached to the right bottom corner, but you have to imagine it being a centimeter higher to use it without issue.
But touch is otherwise working fine for now, I used paint to verify that.
But it seems to have the newest OSD software, it dims up when turned on or switching between inputs which looks really good.
Colors are also better calibrated and not that oversaturated anymore like on their other OLED screens. HDR is really great, as I already said :D

The panel is really nice, I'm actually impressed by the build quality only let down my the SOFTWARE situation back in December. They should really put better quality control on the software, Freesync also doesn't work keeps flashing at 20% brightness and even with the included power supply. I believe the Freesync range and software has not been configured properly.

hi, thanks for the video, does this monitor have flicker (PWM)? Is it really laminated (No air gap)?

The touch screen version I have looks laminated but I'm not sure on the PWM, my eyes can't really tell I'm not sensitive to that.

What’s the GPU in your mini PC? If it’s intel then maybe that’s why FreeSync doesn’t work? Should work without troubles for AMD dGPU/iGPU, and should work with some caveats for nvidia GPU

Its a AMD 8845hs with the 780M Igpu. I believe the reason it isn't working is because the Freesync range hasn't been setup.. So a software issue that's why I believe it might already be fixed now for newer units.

Is it over hdmi usbc or dp? If it’s hdmi can u try other two?

@@marcin774 it's dp over type C and I tired both ports and even used another cable I had. I've reviewed other monitors and I've had Freesync working on them no problem. I brought this back in November and two others users have told me their OSD looks different and are on the newer firmware. it's possible that this issue with the brightness constantly resetting on restart and game start (without using the additional type C) has been fixed on newer versions. I also bought a 144hz portable monitor from bimawen that only did 60 Hz on HDMI despite claiming to do 120hz over hdmi. Other user feedback on Aliexpress confirm some users have this defect and upon further investigation it seems they loaded a 144Hz, 120Hz and 60Hz profile for DP but only loaded a 60Hz profile over HDMI. Freesync worked fine on that over DP though. It's just quality control can be somewhat lacking with software loaded in that isn't properly configured
