It’s awesome to see a tutorial made by an expert who can show how to repair components as opposed to simply replacing them. Thanks for a very informative video.
WAAAAAY more information than I was expecting!!! EXCELLENTLY DONE! Iwas dreading this repair but now can hardly wait to tear into it. A HUGE THANK YOU!!!
The socket needed is s 5.5mm. Can get the single socket at an auto parts store or on Amazon. Replaced my actuator today and popped open the old one to take a look. 215k miles on my 2006! Thanks for the great info!
Another well done video. I have that clicking sound now and then. This video will be a lifesaver for me. I would never have guess how that worked. Since there are no comments here, guys aren't having this problem. Well I think I will be. Thanks for your time and effort. You do a great job on these. I watched the one on the door latch assembly this morning , subbed and liked and then came looking for what else you have done. Good work.
I had the clicking sound for a while now in my truck, and I could do exactly like he does in the video and move the slider up and the nose stopped. However recently, the actuator stopped responding. I'm just gonna buy a new one and replace it, new vs 18 years old
Mines doesn’t alight no matter what was I turn it, the actuator it’s self is all the was to the left on hot I don’t know how to turn it even if I connect it it only turns so much. Could it be the climate control that’s bad and not turning the actuator all the way
