Hello mate, I saw you said you haven’t ever bumped into a subscriber. I actually saw you in the new Co-op just of getrude road a couple of months back but didn’t want to disturb you! Love the videos mate, glad someone from the area is doing well for themselves through cars on TH-cam. I’ve always wanted to give it a go but never had the confidence, be great if you had a meet though man!

Deffinatly up for a meet I'm regularly in Norwich and fairly local to the area be great to actually meet you. Your vids have guided me on projects on my own astra.

I came from a similar position. I've always fixed my own cars and turned to TH-cam if I needed find out anything. The reason I make my videos is to give something back and some of my jobs haven't really been covered on YT. My BMW project was bought with the aim of raising the bar and taking my channel to the next level. It is now my backup car for when the Citroen is out of action.
This was much needed to cure my boredom.

Same as me around 10yrs ago I decided to start changing brakes on my car and from there just went to leaps and bounds,discovered I have a great mind for mechanical engineering

The Mondeo St you have was belonged to a mate of mine, indeed a fun car to drive. i have the petrol version of this and love it. it practical for family yet has power, down side is 29mpg. Ive done work on the engine just need to map it, be good to see what its pushing. As stock these v6 engine's was pushing 222 bhp and 280 torque. I friend that brakes them in Essex brought one and the owner claimed it was near 300 bhp but he had it redone and if memory serves me right it was more like 260ish

You definitely need to do a few car shows with the Mondy. Perhaps a Mondeo only meet up somewhere as there are still quite a few around of the MK3s. Keep up the good work.

Tbf it is fucking freezing, i've been needing to do an engine mount and top mounts for 2 months and i've got a double garage, i feel for you doing stuff on a driveway
I fitted a 7" screen to my corsa e, it's the same set up as that one also from ebay. Problems I have found with it. The phone link is meant to be mirror link of your phone via USB cable....... Can't get that to work, also I like the home screen as it has a clock on it, but it only stays on this screen for a few seconds then goes back to last screen.
At night the screen is too bright so touch the brightness button and it shows a night symbol but the brightness is exactly the same, as you showed in your video you can turn the screen off so at night this is my default mode. Bluetooth music and radio is great - phone calls are not as good as original, can't get steering wheel buttons to work even with correct adapters

Meetup around Peterborough! Close to you, on the A1, Easy access from north, south and east.. There's some of the biggest car shows in the country in south Lincolnshire so maybe coincide with that and meet there?
if you're gonna do a classic project with your Dad hows about a Focus ST170 ? i know they're not seen as classics as such just yet but you mark my words,they will be in a couple of years. Prices aren't going to get any lower than they are now so i reckon they'd be a good investment.
