Thank you, man ! My Samsung tablet A was frozen, would not turn on, would not respond to either soft of hard reset. Using your trick and your tool ("just a coke bottle") I opened the tablet, unplugged the battery, reconnected and BOOM !!!! It worked like a charm. Can't thank you enough !

People will think just buy the tool but most kit come with battery and the problem it too much vendors in amazon and ebay that sometimes you end up wit the wrong battery u can return it bu less the handling fee and those repair cell phones mostly india people the will rip you off i was quote 60 buck so this method is usefull to check the dimensions of the battery that happened to me
you should just try holding the power button the volume down button and the home button until it reboots if you hold it to long it just goes into download mode but there is a choice to restart device

Just use simple plastic like one of those guitar things or a credit card that you will never use. Also while doing this process take your time and do no forcefully pull the back off. Just be gentle about it and slowly take the back out. Doing so forcefully will most likely break the snaps and you can't put it back on ever again

I can't understand why this is necessary. So the tablet won't power down by holding power button for like 30 seconds? Or power and volume down button? Or plugging it in to charge for a few minutes to get it to respond? I'm trying to understand because I don't think I want a tablet if it does this in the first place. I have no idea what kind of Samsung tablet that is, but it's not the type of Samsung tablet that I have. My Samsung tablet has frozen, and I can only think of removing the battery or wait for a very long time (which is probably going to take days) till the battery runs out of power to solve the problem. I had to use some kind of wax melter to remove the back of my phone, and then put new wax on to make the back stick back on, so that's probably the same method to use for removing the back of my tablet. They had to use wax, because people were popping backs off of other people's phone, and then stealing them, and there were phone with screws, but people got screw drivers, unscrewed their screws, and then stole the screws along with the battery, so they used the wax to make the phone back stick on, so that people can't steal their battery, because they would be spending alot of time melting the wax off.
After 8 hours of not charging I figured I needed to get at the battery but I didn't have the tool shown in another video. I found this video, got a Pepsi bottle and came back to watch again before cutting it and the tablet started charging in its own! I'm saving this video. My Samsung tab a started acting up about charging right after the warranty expired! I'm sure I'll need this tip again soon. Thank you!
Hard Reset will not work if the Tablet will not even turn on which is my case with my Tab 4. plus, my Warranty expired a year ago. Nothing better than some simple old fashioned DIY :). Thanks a million for making this Video :)
