In this video we take a look at the second tablet of Samsung's flagship tablet series. We are diving into the full review of Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 PLUS - during my review of the Galaxy Tab S10 ULTRA, you may have noticed that it was more of a rant...mixed with my review of that android tablet. In this video however, I dig even deeper, and talk about all of the pros and cons of the galaxy tab s10 plus and I also share how I truly feel about this device. Thanks a lot for your videos. You are one of the few honest person I do believe, you say the only way it is the cold truth! Not wonder Samsung didn’t release the S10, since there is nothing they can add to the S9 to dress it up and camouflage it as a “new” tablet. I am happy I follow your advice last year and got my sweet Tab S9. Please don’t ever change 😊

i went from s9ultra to s10 + and i am very happy. I NEEDED the anti glare, wanted the downsize for portability, but was concerned about the new processor since i use DEX and game through DEX. Issues tend to arrize when things get pushed and so far so good. Im very pleased.

I was hoping Samsung would have done a standard 11 version for the people that like the smaller sized tablets i have two laptops already, so the 11 tablet was very handy, size wise
I agree! I love my Tab S9. I've had 12.4" tabs but they just didn't work well for my needs. A lot of people prefer the smaller more portable size. It would be stupid of Samsung to just give the 11 inch flagship market to Apple.

I doubt it unless you want a Galaxy Tab with fans in them. Not even the thicc boi Surface Pro can cool that thing passively
8 gen 4 is the same thing, same cores, just more suitable to a fanless device
It's quite clear that if you own the Galaxy Tab S9+ or Ultra, upgrading to the S10 isn't worthy. However, here's an interesting scenario: suppose you don't have a tablet, or you currently use an older model like the S7 or S6, and you're considering purchasing the S9 or S10. Naturally, if both have the same price, the S10 would be the better choice. But what if they're not? What's the minimum price difference that would still make the S10 a worthwhile investment?
I think if the S10+ is 999, and the S9+ is 899, you should buy the S9+.
I have a s7 11 inch and will like to upgrade but don't know what to upgrade to. Not a fan of Amoled . Never had a 12 inch tablet before and the chipset the S10 series using is a concern to me. And I don't even want to talk about the price. Stuck at the moment
i bought the s9 plus for 700 euros the same s10 plus would have been over a thousand so im happy
I’ve been to samsung store today and sale rep there told me that nobody bought 11 inch tablets from s9 series. That’s probably the reason why they dropped it.

I'm usually a year behind when I decide to upgrade. I purchased the S9 FE+ early this year, and I love it. Of course, I still use my S7 FE+, which is still doing great. However, I am seriously thinking about buying a second 9, trading in the 7, because I want the longer guaranteed updates. My old S6 Lite 2020 still boots up, but slowly now. And it obviously no longer has the protection the S9 has. I need two tablets because I am always on them. I don't play games, but I get my news from a couple of TH-cam sources I trust, and I do a lot of Bible study. I admit that I don't take full advantage of the bells and whistles the newer tablets offer with AI, but I need the high quality, larger screens, and the better battery life that Samsung has. I have watched a couple other reviewers (sorry) who have pretty much said what you did, which is why I will stay with last year's tablet. Today's the end of Prime Day, so I better get myself over to my Best Buy store and take care of business. :)

In the end, both the S9 and S10 are the same device with a few (very few) differences. Do you know anything about the upcoming A10 series in 8"?

im the kind of guy that keeps things as long as they please me. Im sporting a samsong s21 phone that i wont replace as long as it can do what i need it to do! I also bought the tabs9plus and the tab s9fe when they ccame out, thanks to your revues by the way. And It will be a few years before they get replaced! They just do what I want!

I am a Apple Brand junky my household has iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks, other than TVs I’ve never used a mobile Samsung device till now and I’m super impressed by this vs my iPad Air (Tech reviewers are great resources but actually going outside and testing the product is when you should voice your opinion) it helps normal consumers. (Maybe being a engineer and a person who actually designs shit I can appreciate smaller innovations) in a time where folks are struggling these tech companies are releasing upgrades and not increasing prices with new tech that normal consumers cannot afford.

I don't hate the Tab S10 series, but I think they should've waited til early next year to release these.
@@ShellymanStudios true that would’ve softened the blow of lack of innovation especially since people are still bashing the iPhone 16 release… but people don’t seem to understand new innovations this new technology that they want cost money Apple Vision Pro perfect example of more innovation and better technology but what NORMAL CONSUMER can afford a $3000 headset…. which is why other options are available like oculus and the PlayStation VR still innovation but affordable.
I wished they had narrowed that bezzels like the huawei and honor tablets

I don't mind I upgraded from a Tb3 Active which was NOT waterpfoof even in rain due residual moisture in the holder resulting in N "irreparable" loudness button... I'm happy just waiting for the free Keybord cover...
Just pulled the trigger on the S10 Ultra, picking it up tonight. Switching from the 11" S9. I really wanted the larger screen and with the trade in discount i get $500 for my S9. Plus Best Buy throws in a free keyboard folio worth $200. Still feels overpriced, but more tolerable. I would have gone with the S9 Ultra, but the 10 actually came out cheaper. Plus a big selling point to me is the less reflective display, which bugs me a lot on the S9. Now i only hope it won't be too large for my needs...
Still using my Tab S8 5G... been using for 2 years since it first came out. And nope, still don't need to upgrade.. love the compact size and still works perfectly fine with my s24 ultra..
I think what you said about all asking a IPad mini sized Tab is…mistaken. Very little demand for such too tiny tablet! I already had all sized tablets, from 7” to almost 13” and DEFINITELY the best sizes are from 10,4 - 11.5”. They are small and big enough as a tablet AND to be a small PC. Small and light enough to be on a backpack but to get some work done.
That said, I love my Tab S8 and I will along the way buy the Tab S9 (the screen, it makes a HUGE difference) and one of the best I had (but slow) was the Surface “mini” with 10.5”, it was really fun!!! A real small PC. How would it be with a AMD Z1 Extreme or 370 or with an Intel Lunar Lake…wow!
All other sizes are very uncomfortable to hold and use as a tablet and not very “pocketable”

If you get the S10 right now it's going to have a nice discount, but if you get the S9 on sale that's the better choice imo
To be honest, either one is fine - if the budget allows, go S10 Plus, otherwise go S9 Plus

I would go for the S10, the S9 has just three further years of updates (5 guaranteed from sales start) and the S10 has probably 7 years (I heard that, not proven)
I had a tab S9 Ultra and wanted to downsize. So I got the 10 plus
I'm debating between the S10+ and the Ipad Pro 13". I told myself I'd get the S10 when it came out. Still not sure, Samsung makes superior screens on the other hand. I own the Tab S8+ and the trade in deals suck. I feel my S8+ is worth more then what there offering.
I was thinking of getting a S9 but i was able to get the S10 for $800 so its not that bad, i wouldn't have paid $1000+ for it though

Okay, Ivan. I'm voting you as the best-dressed presenter on TH-cam. Second, Sammy has canceled the Midnight BLUE and pastels for silver and black. My S 8 ultra is a classy deep blue. However my S 9 + is a pedestrian Grey slate. This new group is more of the same; boring!
well same but not same since s10 will get 7 years of updates so its a big deal compared to s9 only 4 years. To be honest i'm completely fine with s7+ just it is getting only security updates and will be stuck on One UI 5.1.1 so I will probably think about upgrading.
I'm not sure about that Mediatek chip in new galaxy tablets. So I think I will probably buy s9 tablets

That Samsung releases the Tab S10 ($1000 tablet) with a Mediatek processor is not for me the biggest insult, slap in the face, but that Samsung releases its Tab S10 with the Dimensity 9300 just 1-2 weeks before the official announcement of the Dimensity 9400, that, for me, is a real lack of respect, a real insult to Samsung users.
well to be fair, it takes time to optimize the processor during product development. The new processor simply arrives too late. But samsung should have also released this late in the year, i dont think there is a significant demand for the new model anyway

Wrt processors, RAM is more important and will be the limiting factor in a few years, it needs more than 8gb on my S8+, and should have 16gb minimum at this price.
If the had a 8" version I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Looks like I'm going to get the iPad mini in a few weeks instead. May be the beginning of me returning to apple😮

Samsung user here. I have the s24 ultra. Been looking for a tablet for a while. Yep, gonna have to go Apple pro m4 11 inch. Remember kids, it's a tablet. Its meant for using on the couch or bed. What's the point of these large screen tablets? I already have a 14 inch laptop...
I was waiting for the tab S10 to come out. I ended going up with the iPad Pro 11 M4 and could not be happier. I was expecting more with the Tab S10 and it seemed like a meager increment

@@gregoriopassport yea because to me the processor improvements are the bare minimum for a new product launch so nothing major there. The other 3 points are definitely improvements but nothing major.
Samsung cut 30% of production costs to get rid of the s10 11-inch inch base model and went with Mediatek instead of Snapdragon for this generation of tablets.

The biggest slap is thats its still cost same as snapdragon model. So they use same design for 3 generations, same cameras etc ( that means no extra cost in R&D), that uses not premium chip because of price, but somehow they asking same premium proce from theirs customers ....
Somehow 2024 is year of failure for samsung. Same was with fold 6 ( thabks god sales are terrible, maybe they will start to use brain finally) same with tablets and other copy cats like buds or ultra watch

It's a cappy upgrade period, even the performance barely improved. There are multiple Android tablets for sale, at half the prude, with better performance. Samsung screwed up big time.
"Do you want iPad mini? We have a foldable at that size, go buy it!" is what they are saying, which is nowhere near as a powerhouse.

The Galaxy Tab S10 series was clearly rushed out the door to make it seem
like they’re competing with the latest iPad Air M2 and iPad Pro M4 to please investors. There’s absolutely no reason why these should exist especially with the obvious cost cutting.
Just wondering if you've done any 4k video editing? If so how does the Tab handle it? My ipad 11 pro isn't keep up well in that department so I'm thinking of looking elsewhere.

Samsung never had it for their low end tablets. The S9 FE has a chipset worse than all the other tablets priced above just $300. Even OnePlus 1st Gen tablet has a better processor than Samsung Tab S9 FE+. My initial excitement for the new line of S10 Tablets were the FE models as I highly anticipated a better performing chipset.
