Do you have any Note 9 you could try this on? Note 9 can technically run Linux at the same time as Android (OpenSUSE from XDA Forums, but it replaces the recovery partition with Linux, so no TWRP after installing it), and since Windows uses its own partition, you could run all three of them. If Windows for S9+ runs on the Note 9, Note 9 could be the first phone to run Android/Linux/Windows in triple boot, in the jankiest possible way. Edit: Oh, yeah. It could probably also support the S-Pen, because generic Wacom drivers are a thing. The S-Pen works on Linux with the Wacom drivers.

I am one of the Windows testers on the A52s, for the blue screen when shutting down, disable hibernation. And there is a little problem that Windows deletes random partitions from the phone, causing edl mode, If Windows does not have "GPT-FIX", download it and run it as administrator. To check if it have "GPT-FIX", probably is on C:/
Interesting! I tried the gpt fix script and had to adjust it slightly as it was looking for the wrong directory and i think it worked. I also saw a drivers link on the github releases: does that help with gpu acceleration (if you know ofc)? Thanks for your comment 😀
For whatever reason you wanna do this ..... DON'T rather use a emulater there are multiple choices in that work space and that will work way better than this too 🤞🏻
"This phone is not running Samsung's official software. You may have problems with features or security, and you won't be able to install software updates."
there was a setting that let you disable fast startup. maybe thats why it's freaking out? the setting is in power plan. it's called change what power button does or smth
Bro this makes me wonder if running ios on android smart phone and pc was possible? Can u try it too. It can be a pretty good content if u did 🤔, and what if there is some significant amount of improvement in performance?
If you plug in a mokitor into an adapter, can you show your screen on that other screen? That would be great. I mean, even that you've got Win11 running on that phone is insane, but does a docking station work on this phone with Win11? Anyways: Respect that you've got it working! I really love this project.❤💪🙌👍
There was a perfect phone model that I wanted to buy to get Project Renegade, but all the phones in the store were all bricked, which is probably a sign
What does it cost windows to make a dual O.S? All they have to do is make a dialer app and bring back M.S.N. messenger with webcam for a texting app. They could make a mobile mode that makes text and dialog boxes bigger. When you click file for example it can auto blow it up so the context menu takes your screen up and they can make a legacy mode to make it look normal like a desktop. They could sell a notebook dock with keyboard that has a 12 Hour battery backup, gfx cards, terabytes of SSD space more ram to boost the specs for gamers 3D software for architects. He can dock the phone next to the monitor like a 17" one and have a dual screen so you can read system notifications or modify it as a second screen for when your editing videos or music or watching movies on your phone while you brose the net on a bigger screen. You can send a newscast podcast to the mini screen and read online forums on the bigger one or edit things that way you can manage your screens also it can charge a dead phone on notebook battery. There is so much wrong with windows not doing this. The ubuntu phone had the right idea but poor execution because it couldn't be used as a second monitor. You need more than 1 monitor there is no dispute there. You can send notifications from the O.S. to the phone like "you have electronic mail" so you can read emails on there while watching movies on the big screen so many possibilities and combinations to think of. If you work in sound audio design you can send a V.U. meter to monitor audio levels while editing audio/video on the big screen. I hate companies they always make me wish I worked there just to scream at their employees for making everything so bad. Then I remember that people don't owe me anything and just go away because I don't have billions of daddys money to do a start up company to compete. If I could compete I would write up a new architecture and O.S. and kill everything including linux. Linux is trash as soon as the kernel is updated it breaks your drivers your older software breaks causing mass hysteria. Why linux is the only alternative to windows is beyond me. Linux is the worst. It's architecture destroys everything because of the way the kernel is written. Additions to a new kernel shouldn't trash older software. For example you have a linux app on the same distro that you like from 1992 but the newer kernel makes it incompatible with a 2024 P.C. This is why linux can't compete. Windows has more backwards compatibility with windows software. I think it might not run windows 3.0 or 1.0 but it will try to run 95 and above with some of it being broken. Windows just makes more sense. It makes more sense than android. Android is just giving all my data away like a P2P client all android does is torrent your data away to corporstions and windows is copying this failed data brokering tactic. It should be called data terrorism. You could have charges brought against you for something someone else put on your O.S. and then the O.S. just uploads terrabytes of your files to a server to some program you legally bought that puts cases on you for not illegaly cracking their software and hacking it to oblivion.
Actually on the phone screen it'd make lots of sense to use that Metro UI menu they introduced with Windows 8. If you plan on keeping the device like that, try installing NoMachine on the Windows side, allowing you easily to use it via a PC remotely. At least in my experience NoMachine is much faster than something like VNC or TeamViewer. Also since Windows is now running, you could try plugging something into the USB port again 👀
Please leave any suggestions on what to try in the comments! I plan to upload a video where I try your suggestions out. It can be games... just let me know and I'll give it a shot, if I see it in time =)

More specifically:
Group policy editor -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Do not turn off System Power after a Windows System Shutdown -> set it to Enabled

No GPU support yet, so games won't work
Interesting! I tried the gpt fix script and had to adjust it slightly as it was looking for the wrong directory and i think it worked. I also saw a drivers link on the github releases: does that help with gpu acceleration (if you know ofc)? Thanks for your comment 😀
@OliversTech As far as I know, GPU drivers are still being fixed, it is not available yet
Wait will it work on my galaxy tab s7 ?
yes
For whatever reason you wanna do this ..... DON'T rather use a emulater there are multiple choices in that work space and that will work way better than this too 🤞🏻
@@soumyafxhow? İ have tab s7 256gb

@@GANU_XDemulator won't work any better.
That is actually so cool.
3:37 My Name is Odin...
Everything was broken and janky yet it worked, what a journey!
Now try with USB C -> HDMI output and use it on a big screen with keyboard and mouse connected via Bluetooth.
Unfortunately I think that is not possible, as the phone is only USB-C 2.0.
Bloody brilliant! I need this is me pockets!
no driver😢
Would love it if you did some series of tests (games, browsing, etc.)
Try debloat it and then gaming
Debloat what?
That is actually pretty cool if I had a backup Android phone I would probably try it myself but I've only got my one phone the other one broke

@@BonBon_VEVO it's just that I can't do it without using one hand to help the other
cool to follow a guide and document how crazy that process is but i'm interested in why does it work the way it does and can you speak to that at all.
This is what the windows phone should of been, the phone I always dreamed of
Great now let's try loading some windows games!
This is awesome!!
"This phone is not running Samsung's official software. You may have problems with features or security, and you won't be able to install software updates."
there was a setting that let you disable fast startup. maybe thats why it's freaking out? the setting is in power plan. it's called change what power button does or smth
Good job! ❤
Anyways:
Respect that you've got it working!
I really love this project.❤💪🙌👍
And again, if the main part is to switching to GPT and repartition it so theorically you could install everything from Windows 7 upwards.
There was a perfect phone model that I wanted to buy to get Project Renegade, but all the phones in the store were all bricked, which is probably a sign
Bro just transformed his phone to a Windows Phone 😂
Maybe you should get the screen repaired and put a case on it. The middle not working disables pretty much everything.
Wow, love to see this on a phone
