    We are baaack with our Affordable Liveaboard Yacht Series, or in this case SuperYacht 😝 We are very excited to have found this 1983 Cheoy Lee Cockpit Motor Yacht as she has A LOT to offer to her future owner. She was refitted in the mid-2000s and they did an amazing job. Some of my fav features on this SuperYacht are: the super comfy saloon, the very well-appointed Galley with all stainless steel upgraded appliances, the “Media room” which I would most definitely convert into a Great Home Office, The guest Cabin,s and the Master with plenty of room for everyone, the proper Crew Quarters and the very Tall headroom Engine Room.
    Just add a little TLC and she would make an amazing Liveaboard Contender! She is currently listed for sale for $399,000.
    Enjoy the Tour!

    The Foruno is a fish finder and shallow water depth finder, the Wesmar Omnicolor Video Sounder is a deep water sonar that uses color changes to indicate different types of objects and seafloor changes telling you if you are over a rocky formation, a soft muddy ground, underwater objects like trees, boulders, etc and gives indication of fish 🐟 schools and their sizes so you know what is going on under the boat as you are doing deep sea fishing 🎣.
    BTW, "Poor Richard" (the name of the boat passing by) was Benjamin Franklin and the name he used for his "Poor Richard's Almanac" that he printed.

      Thanks for the detail Kevin! I used to be a tech at Wesmar in the mid-70's just off Lake Union in Seattle, WA. That video sounder--very high tech compared with the mono-green sonar of back then. I worked in "Level Monitor". The division building rigs for close tolerance, distance measuring equipment. I'm a bit of a dinosaur I guess because I'm a firm believer that if a manufactured product still performs its intended purpose well and you have a need for the service then keep it! This yacht is magnificent ! I think this is the most boat for the money. It's not all glamor and glitz, however if is very nice. The amount of living space is incredible. I'm also impressed with crew quarters. If you are using this boat to travel, and why wouldn't you, you will need a crew. A happy, comfortable crew will make life easier for everyone. If you travel, this area xwill be their home too. This yacht has class. I would love to live aboard this yacht. I could go on and on, after 40 yrs,my wife will testify to that. Love your channel. Your on line tours are thorough and well thought out. You make a fine couple and are great hosts. I have been a subscriber for a long time. A solid woman and a man who deserves it. If ever one of my friends seems jaded I’ll just tell them to watch you guys. To help restore some faith. If you ever come across more gems like this please let us see it as most of us are probably more able to get something like this and it’s depressing to see the 30 footers with no space sometimes haha. 💙

      @@Gryphyn3 Somebody mentioned it would cost $80k to get to Morocco with this yacht. Very expensive. I'm wondering which profile of buyer bought this and for what purpose. Probably not only to live in it while it is docked for years?

    • @Gryphyn3
      @Gryphyn3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Burevestnik9M730 I doubt it would cost that much. Unless your fuel costs are really high in europe. I'm in Canada. You fill a yacht 40-60ft here for about 1000 per year. Unless your doing ALOT Of cruising then maybe twice or three times a year. Crossing the ocean in this machine would be similar. Fill would be 2 Grand maybe. Then island hop as much as you can to keep it fueled and then cross. A ship this size would easily cross and ocean.
      Whoever said 80K must go at top speed on their boats or never have taken a boat out. Ocean crossing you go at lower speeds to conserve fuel. If you go faster, the fuel won't last the crossing. Go slow and you can make it. (Depending on the fuel tank sizes and engine profiles. )

    • @Burevestnik9M730
      @Burevestnik9M730 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Gryphyn3 I understand what you are saying and hopefully you are right. Here is the input I got, with some concrete numbers: "
      fort lauderdale to Morocco is 3700 nautical miles. Depending upon the burn rate per hour. Average at 22 knots is about 100 gallons per hour. With man diesel engines. @ 22 knots. 160 hours(approx 7 days) @ 22 knots÷ 3700 nautical miles= 168 hours $5.00 a gallon is $500 an hour. So 160 hours x $500.00 an hour. $80,000.00
      160 hours. Its probably cheaper to send it on a Atlantic transport ship."
